The group that escaped the brig are now running away from any marine in the G-8 base.
"Come on guy!! Keep running!" Luffy yelled out while holding his straw hat on his head.
"I don't think I can keep up!" Usopp exhaustedly yelled out. "I'm beat! No wait don't leave me!!"
Luffy and the other's ignored his pleads and kept running. "Let's find the Going Merry and get out of here!" Their captain yelled out.
"Come on Usopp! Do it for the Merry!!" (Y/N), who was also running out of breath, yelled back to her long nosed friend.
The group ran until Luffy stopped them. A wave of marines were running at them from the front of the hall. "Shit, should we turn back?" (Y/N) questioned her captain, but was quickly giving her answer by her long nosed crew mate behind her.
"Marines! Over there too!" He pointed at the second intersection of the three way hallway. "And they are behind us! We're trapped like rats you guys!!"
(Y/N) is just about ready to fight her way out, but her captain's laughter made her hesitate. "It's about time things got interesting... I want to see if fortress guy was right. He said that escape was impossible and that it would take a miracle."
"It might." Sanji pointed out. "The odds aren't in our favor, that's for sure. There's a thousand troops stationed here."
(Y/N) smirked at the challenge as Usopp spoke up. "You find this interesting? Why Luffy?!" Their captain giggled reinstating what he said before about escape being impossible.
"I can't see any other option, but fight." (Y/N) smiled from ear to ear; but before she could take out her sickles, she heard her captain yell in front.
"GUM GUM GATLING!!" Swiftly the troops in front of them there all knocked out, giving the group an escape avenue.
"Luffy! You just had to take all the fun for yourself." (Y/N) sulked at her captain's action causing him to laugh in response.
"Come on, (Y/N)! We don't have time for this!" Usopp grabbed (Y/N)'s wrist, pulling her along as the group started running again.
They ran all the way to a cliff's end that more marines were stationed on. Luffy made quick work of them, knocking them all off the cliff.
"Oh great a dead end." Zoro said loud as Luffy suggested to run along side of the cliff, but his suggestion was interrupted by the sounds of gun fire.
Usopp, Zoro and Sanji ran behind a huge rock while (Y/N) and Luffy looked up at their shooters.
"So you finally shown yourselves, aye?" Commander Jonathan spoke from a high balcony.
Usopp and Sanji pointed out the obvious saying that he was the base commander Jonathan.
"Oh if it isn't the tricky bastard himself." (Y/N) crossed her arms, glaring up at him.
"Hey fortress guy! Why are you up there?" Luffy innocently questioned him.
The commander crossed his arms, leaning over the railing. "Well this is the balcony to my office."
Luffy ran on top of a large rock on the cliff's edge. "My crew, I rescued them! What do you think? Sorry I beat your guys up, but I told you I was going to leave when I wanted to, didn't I?" The captain held his fist up to the commander making (Y/N) giggle at how proud the boy was.
"Indeed. Are you still planning to do that, Straw Hat Luffy? Leave?" Jonathan questioned back to the captain.
"Yep! We're leaving right now." Luffy's smile never left his face as he spoke.
The captain laughed at the boy questioning if the captain actually believed he could escape the base with his treasure.
"You bet I do! We're pirates, you can't catch us." A cannon fire caused the group to take off running back to where they came from, avoiding the destruction that came their way.
After much more running, the group hid behind a large boulder. Usopp peaked up followed by (Y/N). "I don't think they can see us here you guys."
Luffy stood up, looking over the boulder "Careful! Fortress guy is just waiting for us to stick our necks out!"
"Like you're doing right now?! Get down here!" Sanji angrily said, pushing Luffy's head down.
"See that path down there. Dock 88 is on the other side of it. That's where the Going Merry's stowed." Usopp looked towards the giant bridge that stretched over the ocean.
"Yeah, but how do we get across though?" Sanji threw out the obvious question to his crew members, pointing out the sea of marines stationed along the bottom.
"Ghost girl can fly us over." Zoro suggested casually.
(Y/N) glared over at the swordsman. "Yeah and you want me to pass out from exhaustion? I can only fly for about 30 seconds at a time, remember?!!"
"Sounds like a you problem." Zoro scoffed ask (Y/N) shook him by his collar, angrily whispering why he would even ask in the first place.
"What about up there?" Luffy looked up towards the top of the bridge causing everyone to look up as well.
"Huh..." Usopp pondered his captain's suggestion. "Well it looks crossable."
"It sure does. But isn't it strange that there are no guards, it's almost like they are inviting us up there." Zoro pointed out.
"Yeah I agreed with the moss head." (Y/N)'s comment made Zoro angrily look at her. "I think we should go for it, but we should be cautious. It's most likely a trap."
"A trap?!" Usopp nervously questioned the (h/c) haired woman.
Luffy slammed his fist into his other hand. "Who cares! Let's just go for it! I'm not scared. What about you guys?"
Zoro, Sanji and (Y/N) smirked at their captain, ready to spring the trap and fight through whatever comes their way.
The three ran behind their captain while Usopp yelled, "Hey? Luffy, (Y/N), Sanji, Zoro?! Hey wait! Don't I have a say in this?! Fine!" The long nosed boy ran after his crew mates. "If you guys get caught in a trap, I'm not gonna rescue you, ya hear! And without my help, you guys are gonna die! Is that what you want?! But um; if I get caught in a trap, you guys are gonna rescue me right? Please say yes.."
The five made it to the bridge, still running on top of it. "They are gonna come out soon, be prepared." (Y/N) said to her boys that ran along side her.
Moments later a large amount of marines popped out a bush on the other side of the bridge. "Alright! There they are!!" Luffy yelled out to his crew.
Usopp started to run back in fear, but was stopped by more marines that popped out of crates and ran from the other side of the bridge.
(Y/N) tsk'ed at the amount of opponents. "They blocked us in."
Zoro looked back of the marines behind him. "Just as many behind us. Looks like we are all going to get a little work out."
"Listen up, we are getting out of here no matter what." Luffy shouted to his crew.
A man walked out among the marines. "Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the legendary Unit 55, and no pirate will ever cross this bridge on our watch!!"
"I've already crossed this bridge once today, but I guess you were off the clock?" Sanji lit up a cig as he spoke.
"I'm going to make you eat those words, pirate!" The marine yelled out as the squadron started singing out their chant.
(Y/N) looked at them confused, but ignored the marines. "Um Sanji, could I have one of those?"
"Oh yeah sure, I didn't know you smoked." Sanji handed her a cig and helped her lite it.
(Y/N) took a deep inhale and blew it out slowly making Sanji go heart eyes crazy over the woman. "I haven't in a while, but today is one of those days."
(Y/N)'s thoughts about her father still lingered on her mind, but ended quickly as the marines finished their chant. "55 ATTACK!!"
(Y/N) bit lightly on the cig while she took out here sickles, quickly spinning them on her fingers before catching them with a smirk.
(Y/N) sliced a marines chest as he came up from the side of the bridge. "Zoro come on!" The (h/c) haired woman yelled to the swordsman who finished punching another marine besides him.
They both ran at the marines behind Usopp. "Out of our way!" Zoro yelled at the long nose who ran between (Y/N) and the swordsman.
"On it!" Usopp yelled back as (Y/N) jumped on a marine, gliding her sickles into his sides. The marine screaming from the cuts. "Don't worry, it won't kill you."
Zoro continued punching every other marine in his way, knocking them out left and right.
(Y/N) got grabbed by two men who held her arms back. "It's time for you to give up, little missy!"
(Y/N) smirked at the men before throwing up her sickles high in the air. "Alright, you win. I'm captured." (Y/N) held up her hands as the two men laughed and started to drag her away.
Soon enough, the sickles she threw up to the sky came crashing down straight into the two marine's shoulders causing the two of them to cry out in pain. The soldiers dropped (Y/N) to grab their shoulders allowing the woman to grab her sickles. "Ouch, never mind!"
(Y/N) heard her caption yell a new move she hasn't heard: Gum Gum Battle Axe, but as the (h/c) haired woman turned to look towards the boy, the bridge beneath her feet began to shift. "What did that boy just do—" (Y/N)'s question was cut off by her falling down to the water below.
(Y/N) woke up feeling exhausted on the shore of the ocean. "W-What happened?"
"Moron!! You never think about the consequences, do you?! Do you!?? You're nearly killed (Y/N)!!" Sanji scolded Luffy.
"I'm sorryyy." Luffy shared the same exhausting feeling (Y/N) did.
"Let's go. Where's the dock?" Zoro said got up off the ground.
Usopp, who laid beside the straw hat boy, pointed in a direction. "Ugh, that way."
(Y/N) regained her strength after she got away from the ocean.
They five followed Usopp's directions that lead them back into another hall way. "Are you sure it's this way Usopp?!" Zoro questioned the long nose.
"Yeah trust me! It's just around the corner!" Usopp yelled out to his crew members and kept running.
The crew mates came to an abrupt stop as they watched the swarm of marines before them. "Holy fuc—" (Y/N) got cut off by gun fire.
"Gum Gum Balloon!!" Luffy turned into a giant balloon that grabbed all the bullets and shot it back at them, but knocked over the swordsman and cook in the process.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Zoro and Sanji yelled at the boy.
"Canon Team 12 to the front!" The lieutenant yelled. "FIRE!"
What flew at us were not canon balls, but flash bombs that made the five crew member's eyes water. (Y/N) couldn't see very well from the foggy fumes, but she felt a presence come running towards her so she round house kicked the person. "Ah sorry man, instinct." The (h/c) haired woman shrugged at the unconscious marine.
Zoro created a large gust of wind with his swords that blew away about one third of the fumes away.
"GUM GUM GATLING!!" Luffy punched back all of the front line soldiers back as he prepared his next move. "AND WHIP!" His extended arm pushed everyone in front of him, including Zoro and Sanji to the right. Amazingly he cleared the fumes away as well.
"Ha! Now that was fun!" The captain looked around confused. "Huh? Where are the guys?"
"YOU WHIPPED THEM ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE!!" Usopp and (Y/N) yelled at their captain in unison.
Luffy innocently apologized while Sanji angrily scolded him before turning his attention to Zoro. "Alright you dimwitted moron! What did you say to me?!"
Zoro angrily growled back at Sanji before the two started fighting. "Children, BEHAVE!!" (Y/N)'s words caused the boys to stop and look over at woman.
Before they could give their excuses, the lieutenant yelled "FIRE!!!" (Y/N) turned to away from the chef and the swordsman seeing a familiar sea prism net being shot at her forcing the woman to dodge, but sadly the net caught her captain behind the (h/c) haired woman.
"Stay right where you are!" The lieutenant spoke up. "It says Dead or Alive on your wanted posters. Here at G-8 we lean more to 'Alive'. However if you insist on meeting us with further resistance, we will be forced to admen that policy."
Luffy tried to budge from the sea prism stone net, but couldn't do to him feeling too weak. "Sea prism stone..." Zoro spoke up as he watched his captain struggle. The lieutenant told the swordsman that he was right and asked the crew's captain how the net feels.
"Look at this. There's a sea of them left even after the ones we took out." Sanji pointed out as the marines pointed their guns at them. (Y/N) didn't budge from where she stood. The (h/c) haired woman locked eyes with the lieutenant who spoke to her crew telling them to give up and that they could never escape.
The loud screaming behind her made (Y/N) turned around to see Usopp falling into unconsciousness on the floor followed by Nami in a nurses outfit pushing a gurney with some other woman with purple hair.
"Nami?! Dressed as a nurse??!" Sanji was off in another fantasy love world.
"Luffy?!" Nami yelled at her captain.
The straw hat groaned in exhaustion as he looked up at her. "Hey."
Chopper peaked his head out from a blanket. "Usopp?" The little deer looked at the broken long nosed man who was beat up from the gurney that hit him. Chopper used heavy point which made (Y/N) back up a bit, not knowing how big he actually got. "USOPP!! Look what they done to him! He's injured. He can die, people! It's all because of those soldiers!!" The man deer was obviously pissed.
Sanji and Zoro were trying to tell Chopper to settle down as the lieutenant yelled, "IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!"
The purple haired woman, who looked like some sort of doctor, gave an unholy high pitch scream causing everyone to cover their ears in pain. "WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?!" Nami yelled at the woman.
"WE'VE BEEN TAKEN HOSTAGE!! WE'RE GONNA DIE! PLEASE SAVE US! IT WASN'T OUR FAULT, WE WERE FORCED HERE AGAINT OUR WILL!!" The woman screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Kobato?" Chopper questioned the woman.
"AHHH THIS GIANT IS ONE OF THE PIRATES!!" Nami joined in as the boys looked at the two screaming woman confused.
(Y/N) realized what Nami was doing, but was confused on why the woman named Kobato allowed the ginger to play along.
The lieutenant went on about how taking hostages is one of the many reasons he hates pirates. One of his men spoke up saying that Chopper must be the fake doctor on the base causing the man deer to put on a show. "That's right! I'm a rough and tough member of the Straw Hats! Crying babies even shut their traps when they get a load of me!" Zoro clapped his hands like a proud father while Chopper stomped his foot on the ground. "You better do exactly as I say or these hostages are dooomed!"
(Y/N) was crying from holding back her laughter caused by the scene before her. Chopper continued "ALRIGHT! Order your baffoons to stand aside and let us board our ship!!"
The lieutenant hesitated, but Chopper quickly yelled again. "DO IT!! Double time or I'll snap these girl's necks like twigs and their blood with be on your hands!!"
(Y/N)'s face was turning red from the amount of laughter she had to hold in. Zoro made it worse by adding in, "I'll do what he says guys, he's serious. If you haven't seen the neck snap thing, it's pretty messy." (Y/N) busted out laughing, covering her mouth quickly from the anger glares her crew shot at her.
"How would it look if you, the righteous hand of justice, let two women die." Sanji added in making the lieutenant even more pissed off with the decision he would have to make.
Chopper war cried while Kobato and Nami begged for their lives. That was the last thing needed for the lieutenant to comply, issuing his men to let them pass.
Zoro cut the sea prism net, allowing Luffy to be free. "We have complied with your demands. Now release the hostages."
Nami elbowed Chopper to continue where he left off. "LISTEN! You don't give the orders! These woman will be released only after we escape!"
"We won't try to stop you! You're free to go!" The lieutenant yelled making (Y/N) highly suspicious of his words along side Zoro.
"Very accommodating, but is it true?" The swordsman questioned aloud as he held his captain's arm over his shoulder.
The crew started to walk on the path the marines cleared. Zoro whispered to his crew mates to run aboard the Merry on his signal and asked Luffy for his help by stretching his arms to get everyone on the ship.
A marine dropped his weapon causing the crew to look at him prepared to attack. "Whoops sorry! How clumsy of me!"
"Pay attention! You scared us half to death!" Nami yelled at the soldier.
(Y/N) flipped around at the sounds of Nami screaming to see the ginger defending herself against a marine that tried to grab her. "STUPID GIRL WHAT DID YOU DO?!" The lieutenant yelled.
"Awe crap Nami!" Sanji called out to the ginger.
"Make a run for the ship!" Zoro commanded his fellow crew mates.
(Y/N) was about to unsleeve her sickles to fight off the marines when the ground began to shake. "Huh?" The (h/c) haired woman looked back in shock to see the Going Merry slid off the ramp it rested on into the water.
"Okay ALL ABOARD!!" Luffy yelled out as he through his screaming crew upon the Merry.
(Y/N) fell on her side and slid a few feet. Groaning in pain as she got up. "Ow..." The (h/c) haired woman nearly fell over as the ship hit the water.
(Y/N) looked up to see an angry Nami and Sanji beating the crap out of Luffy.
"You'll have to forgive me captain, my gratitude it's lacking now." Sanji said as his leg smashed in Luffy's face on the railing.
"Give a girl some warning next time, huh?!!" Nami yelled at the poor boy before turning back to her crew. "Alright everyone, look alive!"
A chill was sent down (Y/N)'s spine from how pissed Nami was. 'Damn I would hate to be on her bad side.' The (h/c) haired woman jumped when Nami called her over to steer the rudder.
Usopp woke up after the crew set sail along the edge of the cliff. After some quick explaining, Usopp understood how they got aboard the Merry. "Well we escaped, but what good are we without maps or charts?!" Nami questioned aloud.
(Y/N)'s eyes caught wind of Robin swinging aboard using her devil fruit powers.
"Now there's a girl with style!" The lovesick cook saw the archeologist as well.
Nami was ecstatic to see Robin's find of a map of G-8, but her happiness was cut short as cannon fire rained down besides the Merry.
"I thought they weren't going to attack us because we had a hostage!" The long nose yelled out in fear.
"We knew it was only a matter of time!" Nami yelled back to him.
"Did we also realize they send war ships after us?!!" (Y/N) ran beside the long nosed boy, who pointed them out, looking back at the ships in worry.
"Look there's our exit! The sea gate!!" Nami began calling orders for Usopp to prepare the cannon and Chopper to follow exactly what she says to do with the rudder.
Usopp reported back to Nami that the crew didn't have a single cannon left of on board.
"Well that's hardly surprising, seeing that they confiscated the Going Merry." Robin responses calmly to which (Y/N) agreed with.
"Well what are you going to do?! We can't bust through that gate without some serious fire power!" Usopp brought up a good point.
"We can, but we have to be smart about it." The swordsman responded swiftly.
Sanji finished Zoro's thought. "All we gotta do is gain control of that gate house."
"Don't talk like it's going to be easy!!" Usopp yelled back at the two.
"It is! Cause I have a great idea." The captain grinned back at his crew.
'This can't be good.' (Y/N) thought as the large sum of cannons in front of the Merry fired. Thanks to Luffy's Gum Gum Balloon, and a bit of redirecting, the cannons shot back at the gate that blocked their path to the open sea.
(Y/N) grasped onto the railing as the large gust of wind that followed the blast nearly pushed her off the ship.
"It worked!" Usopp cheered.
"That's one way to do it! Good job Luffy! Now let's sail out of here!" Nami yelled out to her crew. A few moments past until the ginger let out a blood curling scream.
Usopp questioned the woman's behavior as Nami ran down the stairs and checked their storage room. "WE'VE BEEN HAGGED!! MY TREASURE!!!"
