your pov:
it's been a couple days, and me and jade have slept over at each other's houses for all of those days. It's Saturday morning and i'm sleeping.
"morning sunshine!" she yells loudly
"what.." I groan squinting my eyes open
I see her smirk "get up." she demands
"whyyyy, it's saturday morninggg" I groan rubbing my eyes
"get up, I made food." she demands again, rolling her eyes
"you made breakfast?" I question skeptically
"yes" she rolls her eyes again dragging me out of bed
we walk out of her room, with her hand still in mine.
"walk faster." jade says
"i'll walk at whatever pace I want" I walk even slower to annoy her
"okay, well whatever let your food get cold" she says back shrugging her shoulders
"i actually like my food cold" I state
she turns around to look at me, "really?" she ask rolling her eyes again
I don't say anything, I just nod with a stupid smile on my face.
"okay have it your way then." she says smirking
we to her table she grabs my food and puts it on the counter.
"what are you doing?" I question
"giving you what you want, you like your food cold you can have it when it's cold!" she says back innocently
"you know I was just saying that, give me my food! i'm hungry!" I say crossing my arms and leaning back in my chair
"beg me." she says smirking
"what!?" I ask taken aback
"beg me." she says in the same smug tone
"i'm not begging you!!"
"then I guess your not that hungry" she explains amused
"fineee, can I have my food pretty please" I 'beg' rolling my eyes
"not good enough" she says still with that stupid smirk
I groan "can I pretty please have my food" I ask with a nicer tone still rolling my eyes
"better, but try again"
"are you- ugh okay okay, jade can I pretty please have my food back" I ask with a fake smile and a sweet tone
"why of course!" she says in her mocking tori voice
she hands it to me "thanks so much" I say sarcastically. I take a bite, it's really good. "but for real thank you for making this it's delicious"
"yeah whatever" she says back trying to hide her smile
we sit and eat in silence for a minute. "what are we gonna do today?" I ask smiling
"I dunno" she says back looking at me
"oh my god!" I shout because I got an idea
"what??" she asks staring
"let's go to the beach it's so nice today!!" I shout excitedly
"yeah let's do it" she says smiling
I love when jade smiling they always feel so genuine, because she doesn't smile much.
we finish eating and go up to jades room. she tosses me a bathing suit, a shirt, and some shorts
"thanks!" I say looking the clothes
I get up to go change in the bathroom, I get back to her room all changed. I put on a little bit of makeup and do my hair. she packs everything we will need
"you ready?" she asks
"yup!"
we get in the car and she puts on some music, we spend the whole car ride singing and laughing with the music. we finally get to the beach, it's not too full. we find a spot with not many people around us, and set our stuff up. We both lay back on our towels, but i don't like to tan so I sit up. I start building a sand castle.
jade sits up "what are you doing" she questions rising an eyebrow
"building a sand castle" I reply
"that's stupid."
"your stupid" I blurt out
"great comeback!" she says sarcastically while laughing
"i'm sorry you don't enjoy having fun" I say rolling my eyes
she scoffs and laying back down, I finish building it. jade sit back up. She get up and comes closer.
"wow, it's really...interesting" she says
"it'a good you know it"
"you really wanna know what i think about it?" she asks with a smirk
"honestly not really" I answer skeptically
"i'll show you anyway" she replies
"show m-"
before I can even answer she stomps on the sand castle that I just built.
"hey! you asshole!" I shout
I hear her snickering and she sits back down. I start rebuilding it.
"hey you want a drink?" she asks
I ignore her.
"oh so your ignoring me?" she questions laughing
I ignore her again. she stops talking for a second then she comes and sits down next to me sighing. She starts putting sand in the bucket.
"what are you doing?" I ask
"what does it look like? I'm helping you build a new one" she answers rolling her eyes
I smile big and we build the castle. We finish building it.
"it's so good, thanks for helping me build a new one even though you destroyed my other one" I say laughing
"yeah whatever" she replies trying to hide her smile
"let's take a picture with it!" I suggest
she scoots closer and I take the pictures. I'm smiling and she had her usual scowl on her face she's pointing at the castle. I post it on the slap, and put my phone down.
I grab jades hand, help her up, and drag her to the water. we walk along the water together. I start thinking about her and beck. I don't want them to get back together.
"jade, can I ask you a question?"
"sure?" she replies with skepticism in her voice
"I think this is the question that set you off last time but you never answered."
"just ask" she says getting impatient
"are you and beck ever going to get back together?" I ask nervously
"no, well I don't know, I don't think so.." she replies shifting uncontrollably "why?"
"I don't know I was just wondering I guess"
"okay?.." she answers awkwardly
we go sit back down, I check my phone. all of our friends liked the post, and I missed a call from cat. I call cat back.
"hiiiiiiii!" she squeals through the phone
I move the phone away from my ear a little bit "hey cat what's up?"
"we all saw that you and jade are at the beach" cat says
"yeah, it's a real nice day for it!" I reply smiling
"we were all just wondering if we could come hangout with you guys?" she asks excitedly
"yeah i'm cool with it, just lemme ask jade"
"kk, i'll wait" she starts humming
"are your cool with them coming and hanging out with us?" I ask her
"who's them?" she asks
"cat, tori, andre, and Robbie I think." I answer
"yeah but does tori haveee to come?" she groans
"yes we are not just leaving her out!"
"fine." she agrees rolling her eyes
"cat," I wait for a response she's still humming and not answering "cat" I say louder still no answer "cattt" I yell into the phone
she squeals I hear her throw the phone she goes and picks it up "yeah?"
"you guys can come!" I answer
"kk, i'll tell everyone and we'll be on our way bye bye" she laughs then hangs up
after a while everyone get there even beck, I didn't know he was coming but I just ignore it and have a good time. we all spend the rest of the day at the beach. the sun is setting so we decide to have a bonfire. we sit around the fire talking.
"so you guys have spent the last couple of days together right?" beck asks staring into the fire
"yeah." I answer coldly because I know where this is going
"do you like jade?" he asks like he's interrogating me
"what? no." I answer
"yeah right!" he yells
then he gets up, walks over to me and dumps his water bottle all over my head. everyone's yelling at him.
"what's your problem? not cool dude!" I hear andre say
"beck!" I hear tori yelling
"hey!" I hear cat chime in
I hear a mixture of everyone's voices yelling at beck even rex, I hear jade yell crazy mean things at him, and i'm just sitting here shocked. I hadn't been in the water in a while I didn't want to get wet again. beck ignores everyone, and starts walking away. jade sticks out her foot while smirking and trips beck. everyone starts laughing including me.
"ha! you just got tripped by your ex-girl!" rex laughs
he stands up and turns back looking at us, I've never seen beck so mad he's always been known as relaxed and calm. I look over at jade she has her arms crossed, she's smirking, and rising an eyebrow. he stomps away. As soon as he's gone I get bombarded with everyone asking if i'm okay.
"yeah i'm okay guys, it's okay, it's just a little bit of water, thanks for standing up for me" I answer smiling
"of course,"
"no problem"
cat smiles and hands me a towel. after everyone's paying attention to something else. jade put her hand on my thigh.
"are you sure okay?" she whispers
"yeah, it's just water it dries" I smile look into her eyes
she looks back into mine, instead of icy and cold, i see warmth and worry in her eyes. I want to kiss her, but I can't. she doesn't like me she just broke up with beck, she will never like me. I look away, and I think she notices my shift. she squeezes my thigh sympathetically, and I give her a reassuring smile back. we spend the rest of the time by the fire telling stories and having fun, I didn't let beck ruin my night.
(hey guys just wondering if you had any ideas for the next few chapters, or how many more chapters i should have till the full moon jam chapter. I plan for the full moon jam chapter to be the confessing feelings chapter. Before that I want a party at tori's chapter. I also have a few ideas for after the full moon jam chapter sooo I just need ideas for the next couple of chapters 👍🏼👍🏼)
