Valerie was baking cookies with her mother. They were making chocolate chip cookies. The intoxicating aroma invaded the entire kitchen. The cookies were now in the oven. Valerie and her mother whistled a tune together. The cookies were now done, and her mother took them out. They both waited for them too cool off.
The cookies finally cooled off, and her mother hoarded all the cookies, leaving only a crumb for Valerie.
"Mom, you ate all the cookies!" Valerie said, incensed.
"So I did! Sue me!" Her mother chuckled.
"You no good cookie hoarder!" Valerie pouted. She got out her magic wand, and made her mother disappear. She also used it to make more chocolate chip cookies appear. A smile grew on her face.
"What would I do without this?" Valerie ate the cookies, much to her content. She loved her magic wand so much. She would never make her mother come back ever again.
And she didn't.
