BUT TJ HAS ALSO BEEN KEEPING UP WITH HIS TRAINING, IN PART OF THE PROMISE HE MADE TO HIS LATE FATHER.
"This is the edge of town." TJ said. "I'd better walk it the rest of the way."
As TJ walked through the quiet streets, he checked his watch and saw that he was running late.
"Should've been flying much faster." TJ said.
TJ look around and saw nobody around.
"Cool." TJ said.
TJ began sprinting at inhuman speed, but stopped when he spotted the police having a shoot-out with bank robbers.
"Ugh, again?" TJ sighed. "So lame."
"I should pull a quick change." TJ said.
TJ transformed into Incursio.
With his hair now red, TJ jumped in to stop the criminals.
Knocking them all out with chops to the back of the neck.
TJ vanished like the wind after stopping the criminals and turned back to base form.
"Who took these guys out?" A girl asked, surprising TJ. "It wasn't those police officers, was it?"
"I have no idea." TJ said as he tried to sneak away. "I didn't see what happened."
"I came all the way over here for nothing." the girl said. "Someone's stealing my thunder."
"Ms. Talia, I saw the whole thing go down. It was the Crimson Warrior plain as day." A man said.
"The Crimson Warrior?" Talia said. "Again?"
"Yeah, he came and went just like that." the man said. "I think he might attend your school too. He had the same blue, emerald pin on his shirt."
"The Crimson Warrior goes to my high school?" Talia said. "He's a showoff whoever he is. I'm going to get to the bottom of this."
At Blue Emerald High School:
"Good morning, class." A teacher greeted. "We have a new transfer student joining us. He was the valedictorian at old school. Today is his very first day at Blue Emerald High School."
TJ walked in.
"What's up everyone." TJ said as he flashed a smile. "My name is Tatsumi Junior, but you can just call me TJ."
"This new kid is pretty hot. I hope he sits next to me!" Aika said.
"I swore I've seen this guy before." Talia said.
"Go take a seat, TJ. Anywhere you like." The teacher said.
"Yo handsome! A seat is open right here!" Aika said.
"Okay then." TJ chuckled as he walked over to his offered seat which was in the same row as Talia.
"Hey, nice to meet you." TJ greeted.
"Nice to meet you, TJ." Aika said. "My name is Aika. The feisty chick behind me is Talia. She's kind of like a celebrity. Her dad is Takato Sai."
"Really?" TJ said.
"You were the guy I saw at the bank, weren't you?" Talia said.
"Yeah. I guess." TJ said.
"Was the Crimson Warrior around?" Aika said.
"Crimson Warrior?" TJ said.
"Yeah. He's been showing up recently to stop crime and stuff." Aika said. "He's strong as shit and he has blood red hair which is where he gets the name."
"That's me that they're talking about. Oh no." TJ thought.
Talia was staring at TJ.
"TJ. One of the witnesses said he a school pin on his shirt." Talia said. "A black hoodie, a tan shirt and black jeans. And you're wearing the same shit."
"What are the odds." Aika said.
"Of course, it's a coincidence." Bilal said. "His hair isn't even the same."
"I did see the stuff from dad's old videos from seven years ago of the guys who hair changed to red in the fight with Vain." Talia thought. "Dad said it was a trick though."
At the school baseball field:
"Auntie Najenda said no standing out because it would lead to publicity that we won't be able to live down." TJ thought. "Okay, no standing out."
Talia tried to strike out Bilal, but he seemingly hit a home run, but TJ jumped high into the air and caught the ball and threw it down to third base as softly as he could but even his lightest throw knocked the third baseman down.
As TJ came back to the ground, the entire class was staring at him.
"Ah crap. I over did it." TJ thought.
They switched sides which put TJ up to bat.
"Don't hit the ball. Don't hit the ball." TJ thought.
Bilal threw the ball; TJ didn't swing, and the ball hit him. The baseball simply bounced off of his head.
Leaving everyone shocked that TJ was unfazed by the speeding baseball that smacked his head.
"Well, at least I get a walk." TJ shrugged as he jogged to second base.
TJ left school at the end of the day but was being followed by Talia.
"So, he supposedly lives damn near a million miles from the school but is just going to walk home?" Talia said.
TJ turned a corner but as Talia followed, she lost sight of him.
"What the fuck?" Talia said. "Where the hell did he go?"
TJ was standing on top of a building watching from above. TJ flew to the Capital.
"School was tougher than I thought." TJ said. "I got fix that Crimson Warrior thing. Just having red hair is not going to fool them forever. I'll have to fix that, and quickly."
