꒰ 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑'𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 ꒱ . . . I suddenly got a burst of motivation to write another chapter, so here.

The two finally saw the Snow Queen who was about to attack some students that were cowering in fear. Elise stepped in in front of them while forming a protection barrier. "Mom, stop! What is happening with you?"
"Just because you have your full powers now does not give you the right to battle me, daughter." Elise sneered as her eyes glowed a darker shade of blue that Elise noticed.
'Something is definitely control her, but what? Or who?' Thoughts clouded the girl's mind as she continued to face her mother. Elsa then threw shards of ice towards her direction which broke the barrier. Elise created a lasso to tie up the queen but was destroyed in a second as the queen let out a giant force, making her stumble back hard into the ground.
"Ah, Winter's Glory, it's a good thing that we decided to celebrate it here, no? Because then, I am now able to rule over Ever After!" The Snow Queen grinned wildly as she pointed her hand towards a sky, creating a giant swirl that then locked Ever After in a harsh winter.
Elise tried to fight her off again but her body froze, being controlled by her mother. "You may have the power of ice and snow but that does not make you superior over me. Try and stop me or this whole kingdom gets it." Elsa stroked a finger on the teenagers cheek, the cold intensity sending shivers down her spine, even if the cold does not really bother her anyway.
She took notice once again of her mother's eyes where she saw a hint of a black mist circling inside it. It made her thought if that was the reason why her mother was acting different. Her body had now unfrozen but not before Elsa squeezed her hard using her powers, making her weak physically.
"I won't let you take over Ever After." Elise firmly stated as she tried to stand up. The queen just raised a brow at her with a small smirk, "Let's see you try. Until then, I won't stop you."
The Snow Queen disappeared with no trace of where she went. Elise stared at where her mother stood previously. Annie quickly ran to where her cousin was after getting some students to safety. "Elise! Are you alright?"
"No, I'm not... something's wrong with mom." Elise looked at Annie with pain in her ocean blue eyes. "There was something in her eye, like a shard almost. Was there anyone with her before all of these happened?" Annie brought a finger under her lips as if she was thinking.
"Come to think of it, there was a man who was talking to her after you left her with Dexter. If I remember correctly, he was tall and had black hair. He came off as mysterious to me." Annie explained, recalling the scene she remembers.
"He must be the one controlling my mom. We need to get to Baba Yaga." Elise explained before tumbling a bit. "How about you take a rest first? Auntie may have squeezed you quite too much." Annie helped Elise walked towards their dormitory.
'Just who was the man behind it? Why did it happen when I was not with her?'
Elise then remembered something, "Come to think of it, this scene was shown to me earlier... and the same dark mist-like I saw from mom was like the one from the forest..."
"The forest? What happened in the forest?" Annie questioned since Elise had thought quite loudly that made her puzzled of what the girl was saying. "I went to the forest earlier since there was a voice calling out to me and it formed pillars with five elements attached to it. It also showed me like the future almost."
"Pillars? Elements? You saw the future?"
"Well, it's not exactly the whole future but some bits of it. It also showed me five different roses that corresponds to the elements. And the roses were being guarded by a dark mist, like the one I saw from my mother's eyes!"
"Do you think those roses will be the cure to bringing back your mother?" Annie theorized as she slowly took in the information she was getting from Elise.
"I sure do hope so. If not, what's the point of the pillars showing me all of those?"

The two were now in Elise's dorm, resting for a while before solving the snow problem the kingdom was in. Briar, Ashlynn, and Blondie visited the two after a while.
"Elise, whatever are we going to do with all these winter?" Ashlynn asked as she sat beside the girl. "I'm not sure if it's possible for me to stop it, it's mixed with dark magic so I am not quite sure." Elise explained as she pulled her knees up and rested her arms in it.
"Dark magic? Has your mom always been involved with dark magic?" Briar asked with confusion. "No, but the one controlling her sure is. Thee was a dark mist looming in her eyes and I think that's what caused her to act like that. I'm sorry for all of these happening."
"It's not your fault, Elise. However, how are you going to stop all of these?" Blondie assured her before asking the question. "We're about to ask Baba Yaga about what I've saw earlier at the forest. I think we have to acquire the five roses to create a cure."
The three girls grew confused as to what Elise was talking about. "I'll explain later with Baba Yaga."

"I'm so glad you two are alright!" Andy ran towards Elise and Annie and engulfed them into a hug. Dexter was also with him and pulled Elise into a hug after her cousin.
"Just so you know, Elise. I trust that your mom is not acting the way she is right now." Dexter told his lover since he had been already introduced to the queen earlier.
"Thanks, Dexter. Have you two seen Baba Yaga by any chance?" The two boys shook their heads stating no. "Is it alright if you two help us find her? I think she has some answers to my question."
"Of course, Elise. Baba Yaga is the one person we can go to to find the cure we need for the winter caused here."
The five girls and two boys searched all around the school until they had finally spotted Baba Yaga by her office. It looked like she was busy making some potions but struggled as the liquids kept on turning into ice.
"Baba Yaga? There's somet things I need to tell you and I think it might help us solve the winter problem." Elise walked towards the lady who stared at her after hearing what she said.

Ashlynn got Farrah for help since she got the idea of turning back time to when the Snow Queen was after she had turned evil.
Farrah swished her hand over to Annie, who will act as Elsa. She quickly transformed as well as a small barrier forming around them.
"Right at her eyes, Baba Yaga. There's a dark mist clouding around them." Elise pointed and Baba Yaga examined them before letting out a gasp. "I don't believe it, that's the most thinnest mist of dark magic I have ever seen. I am not certain but it somehow has the same energy as the Evil Queen's."
"The Evil Queen? Do you think the man talking to her before was an accomplice of the Evil Queen?"
"I believe so." Baba Yaga confirmed, putting out her glasses. Elise sighed out of frustration. "But how about those elements I've told you? And the roses?"
"Come to think of it, I have read something similar about those from before. However, the book that has the information about them is in the library of elders."
"Wasn't that like destroyed by the giants of Beanstalk High since we beat them in bookball?" Ashlynn realized as she recalled what the library of elders was.
"Well, yes, but anything that has been decimated can be recreated. Farrah! Is it possible for you to recreate the librarh of elders? Except this one might be bigger and requires a large amount of magic?" Elise turned to the fairy desperately.
"Of course, Elise. I do like a challenge."

They had arrived to the ancient library which was locked but thanks to Blondie's skill of unlocking locks, they got inside quickly.
Farrah immediately conjured her magic for a glamorous charm to depict the old library of elders. She was unfortunately had to stay at the entrance to keep the magic intact.
"Okay everyone, let's each find the book Baba Yaga was talking about." The seven students split up into different directions.
Elise quickly took notice of a book that was glowing, but it was out of reach for her.
"Ugh, wish there was a way for the wind to flew me up there."
As if the gods had heard her, she took flight clumsily and yelled out small panics of fear. "What the hex is happening?!"
She immediately tried to stabilize herself then using its advantage to get the book. Briar ran towards where she was as she was the closest to her.
"I heard you screaming, are you alri- Woah! How are you flying?" Elise stepped her feet once again to the floor, still holding the book.
"I don't really know. One moment I was wishing for the wind to fly me up then it just happened. But look, I think I've found the book we're looking for." Elise opened up the book and tried to look for the page that had the information about the roses.
"Have you guys found it?" Andy asked as he emerged to where the two was, the others following behind. "We did, I think. Ah! Here it is."
"The elemental roses are one of a kind as they each correspond to the following elements: air, fire, water, earth. The other rose is a mixture of both snow and ice, often referred to as the Glacier Rose. These roses when combined are able to cure one of the most powerful dark magic of all time. Given with its capability, it is often hunted by countless to have it extracted and help them gain power." Elise read the paragraph written in the book.
"But where can we find them?" Dexter questioned as he considered what had said that the roses were one of a kind.
"There's clues on how to find them, it says...
(Rose of Air) Its beauty secluded, gifted by its beloved. To eyes that are worthy, those chosen are granted.
(Rose of Fire) Within a disguise that took a ride, its eternal beauty hides. To reveal its glory, a touch of magic must be sprinkled.
(Rose of Water) For it enjoys the flows, so crystal clear and cold. A dip is all you need, before it shall be freed.
(Rose of Earth) Hidden so high, not the easiest to climb. Amongst the crowd she was in, her petals shine so brightly.
(Glacier Rose) So close yet so far, in a place that is frozen. The treasure awaits your arrival, with the answers you seek."
Elise finished reading out the clues before her eyes took notice of images suddenly appearing.
"Wait, this must be where they are right now. The Beauty and the Beast's castle, that's Rosabella's. Look Briar, there you're too! And Ashlynn's, and Blondie's, and Dexter's! But, where's the other one-" Elise's sudden enthusiasm was interrupted when the library began shaking.
"Hurry, everyone! The magic's ending at 12!" Farrah yelled from a far. Elise closed the book she was holding before she began running back to the entrance with the others.
As the clock strikes 12, the library had now began disappearing. Luckily, all students were safe and got back to the entrance.
"Now that we know where to find them, I guess it's about time to start our journey."
