After I introduced myself we both stood there in Silence it felt awkward and weird
'did I just blew it'
"aren't you the person who saved me in the alley!",'Alexia said, no it would be more appropriate to say shouted, does she have no manners to not shout when someone is standing just centimetres away from you I should definitely get some ear plugs to protect my ears whenever I am around her', she was now glaring at me with impatience,'dang it! looks like I forgot to reply before starting my inner monologue'

Alexa had a look of pity on her face but it was more for the reason of me not being able to reach my full potential due to not having enough support and equipment to train myself, well at least according to her 'she isn't such a big innocent idiot that she wouldn't know of the despair of the commoner, she just feels that I could have grown even more if I was given the right environment but I don't care either way'
"Forget it so when are you starting to be my Bodyguard and what are the timings when you will not be following me",Alexia asked me, listening carefully
"I will be following you all the time except when you are at the Palace or with your sister I also have been allotted room in the palace that is beside your so you can easily call me if the need be"
"Oh ho consider yourself lucky to get to live in the Royal Palace moreover to live next door to an angel but don't think I am going to spoil you",Alexia said with the cockiness returning in her voice
'Well common people do compare her looks to an angel as much as I have heard but it wouldn't be the same with her personality, I wonder what their reactions will be like if they found this annoying, braty and constantly mood swinging side of her, I am curious whether I should expose her, afterall I only have to protect her physically not her reputation'
"Yes, your Highness, I really I'm the most luckiest person to have the owner to be the Bodyguard of the second princess whose intelligence is second to none, a Universal beauty and the best spellsword of the would",she looked pleased in the start but a growl escape her mouth when she had the last bit

That seemed to have gotten herself, she pulled her sword from her scabbard, propelled herself towards me using magic at a speed where a normal person might have thought she teleported, the blunt side of a sword moved for my head but it was caught between my fingers, she took a bag step and prepared her stands while I just stood there thinking ,'What should I have for dinner' there was a moment of tension in the Arena then she broke her stance and put the sword back into its scabbard
"I hate your guts",Alexia growl ed ,'looks like she does clearly understand only a defeat could a weight her if she went for the fight but she still didn't spared the words'
"You might not be as big of an idiot as you seem your Highness"

"Looks like you too are getting along really well my precious daughter and Kiyotaka, why don't you go to some other place and talk and come to a common understandings, no, Alexia I won't hear any of it you Kiyotaka here is an excellent spellsword, he is the best suited for being a bodyguard and ally in times of need, you should appreciate him being there to help you and keep you safety",the kings said in a Jolly voices and diffused the verbal bomb that Alexia was going to drop on me
"Thank you, Your Majesty I will try my best to live up to your expectation",I said while bowing
"You might as well just be just a push over who just sucks up to those in power" she really did almost made me angry with that
"Oh C'mon Kiyotaka no need to be so normal, open up a little"
"Alright we can continue to talk and further introduce ourselves in Alexia's room as my room is a bit messy to make ourselves comfortable because of the recent shutting, I will also tell the servants to clean this Arena up on our say"

"Yet, I still don't understand how did you defeated Iris even if you started training from a very young age the gap between you two is like heaven and hell", asked Alexia who was currently sitting on her bed in her room, despite being the second princess's room it is quite modest in size with grey coloured walls, a simple oak wood study table, a shelf with multiple books about the history and geography of Midgar kingdom and a sofa on which I am currently seated
"You have been raised in a sheltered environmental, I don't think you know anything about the troubles of the world out side, it forces you to become strong and only the strongest can survived", I said while looking bored it was the truth but not what happened to me, while hoping that she wouldn't ask anymore questions about my past
"Then tell met, what happened to you in the fast?", 'Did she really went ahead utterly and destroyed my hopes'
"My past is something I would not like to talk am out", I said while trying to look as uneasy possible

"I was raised in a way royalty is typically raised but after last years Bushin festival some crack started to appear between me and Iris as I kind of developed an inferiority Complex after losing to my sister but the cracks have started to heal now after I met Poochi", Alexia now felt contempt and at peace that the rifts between her and Iris are finally closing up know but I still had one question
"Who is this Poochi know?" I was told about all the people she needs on a regular basis and the more relevant people near her but I swear none of them were named Poochi
"Poochi is my pet, we play fetch together, we go on walks and I also take good care of him", this got me even more confused as I knew that she didn't have a dog unless she kept it a secret from her family as well but there was no need for her to do such a thing then why?
"And Poochi otherwise is also known to other people as Cid Lageni", Alexia said with much aloofness
"Wow that's a very weirdly cute way of naming the boy you likes", 'Let's have some fun shall we'
"Wah no there's no way that a prideful princess such as myself could fall for such a lowly, untalented and poor Bad on", Alexa said while putting her hands on her hips while trying to sound assertive but it obviously wasn't working
"Look who is talking about being untalented" I don't use usualy tease or insult others but it looks like I really I am having fun teasing this poor girl
"throw another jab at my spellsword skills and you will have it", I kept quite this time not wanting to anger her anymore as well as teasing her about her skills was getting boring and repetitive so I just nodded to her words
"Still I do admit that I am weak and you need to help me get stronger with your techniques and experienced", Alexia asked me with her tone getting serious and conviction in her eyes
"The techniques that I know are way to hard for you so, no, I cannot train you", I really emphasized on the last part to get my point across
"Tch, Alright I accept and you don't need to constantly remind me that I need to get somewhat strong before even standing with you in the arena", Alexia is quick tempered but also fast at accepting her weaknesses and adults
"Apologize for what I said, hurting your feelings wasn't my intention and I will try to be more considerate moving forward also I will give you advise if you feel you are stuck any where", Alexia's face softened after hearing that
"maybe you aren't so cheeky and sassy as I initially thought you would be for being so strong as most people get too full of themselves after achieving the smallest of things"

"Can I come in Alexia?", Iris asked from outside the door
"Yeah come inner", Alexia answered
"Well Alexia I here came to tell you that no matter how much you complain or wail, Kiyotaka here is going to be your personal Bodyguard who will be following you everywhere outside the palace, no more questions asked I hope we can understand each other", Iris said in an authoritative tone trying to appear assertive and intimidating but it failed due to her broken hand in plaster and her cute pout she was doing to show her anger
"Yes, I do understandings", Alexia said successively
"Oh Alexia when will yo–– wait to did you just agreed", Iris was sincerely confused
"Yes, why do you look so surprised about it?" Alexia asked with a smug looks
"Well I just didn't thought you would accept it so hasil", Iris rep lied
"Cmo'n Iris I do understand how much of an is my safety is for the kingdom in order to not hamper our citizens modale, on the flip side what will the people say you they find that "The Iris's" is defeated so easily in just spar by a commoner maybe their morale will plummet to the depths of the seas what will you answer them, then tell me Iris?", Alexia had turned against Iris for her thinking that Alexia is just a brat that she actually is
"I––I–", Iris couldn't refute what Alexia had said
"See you cannot say many thing", Alexia looked over Iris triumphantly as I watched this scene unfold from the sidelines while being as silent as being non existent in the room 'though It wouldn't really change anything I still decided to step in into their conversation'
"Yes, while I do agree with Alexia, I would like to say that Iris is being way less appreciated than she deserves as she has become a symbol of hope, strength and justice for the common people you wouldn't really no what's the difference but just her existence has a great impact on the people of the kingdom, her just being the commander of the knights boost their morale and besides being strong and just, she is also very kind and considerate of her subjects as she gave me a commoner a chance to become someone and I shall prove that decision wasn't wring", that left Alexia speechless and in contemplation whereas Iris now had a gentle smiles, 'Maybe I did too much of ad living'
"Thanks", Iris spoke a with a small yet genuine smile
'That somehow made my heart flutter am I really feeling it or is it just an illusions, nah it can't be, I am just imagining things, though it doesn't matters Iris will have to go through mqny hardships to keep the kingdom safe in these hard times let's see if she is capable of that or will she end up as a broken tool'

2433 words.Wow that completely drained me after this I am going to need to relax for a whole of three days to recover from this fatigue of writing too fast but I won't be able to have even that because of my fucking boarding schools where I have to return and yes, no electronic gadgets allowed and as my sick leave is over and I will return after a month and my exams are starting soon so that's another headache to look forward to I am going to take a dip in hot water to relax myself so worry not peasants your saviour shall return
