Lorelei Gilbert had stayed away from Mystic Falls for 15 years, not wanting to be killed by her youngest brother John. Yet, when she heard of Grayson's death, she immediately 'bought' a ticket and flew straight to Virginia. She knew there was a chance John would be there, but she didn't care. Grayson was dead and she needed to mourn her brother. She arrived at the funeral with a mask covering her nose and mouth, not wanting to be recognized. She didn't want to have to compel every person who asked her why she didn't age after 15 years. It seemed like too much work
She saw her niece and nephew and smiled at how big they've gotten. Lorelei had last seen Elena when she was two and Jeremy was just a couple months old. Her sister in law, Jenna was beside them but she didn't see John. It ticked her off that John hadn't shown up, despite the fact he would probably kill her. Their brother had died and he couldn't find the time to make it to his funeral? A tear slipped from Lorelei's eye but she quickly wiped it away. Crying didn't solve anything so why bother?
She was brought out of her thoughts when she noticed a man staring at Elena. He had brown hair and green eyes, looked about 18. He was definitely a looker but Lorelei preferred her men to be a little older. He just kept staring at Elena and Lorelei definitely didn't like that. She approached the man while trying not to make a scene at her brother's funeral
"Hey, I flew in for the funeral and I don't know my way around town.. do you think you could show me around?" Lorelei asked the man. He looked down at her and wanted to say no but who fucking says no when someone asks for directions around town
"Uh... sure" He said
"Great, thank so much. I'm Lorelei by the way" She spoke
"Stefan" He responded. The funeral was still going on but Lorelei no longer cared. She shed her tear and had mourned
"Are you free after the funeral?" Lorelei asked
"Yeah, I'm free" He said. The funeral soon ended and Stefan began showing Lorelei around town. They made small talk but it looked like Stefan really didn't want to be there. Lorelei was almost offended, almost. The were walking on the side walk when she saw an alley to their right. She took this opportunity to grab Stefan by the throat and drag him into the alley where she slammed him against the way. She used her free hand to take off her mask, revealing her fangs
"I don't appreciate the way you were looking at my niece.. it's kinda creepy" She spoke. Stefan didn't seem bothered one bit
"I don't want to hurt he-" Stefan was cut off
"Leave her alone. Actually, I think I might have a taste of you" She said but her jaw dropped when Stefan revealed his own fangs. Stefan tried to get out of the chokehold but he couldn't. Eating bunnies don't really make your ass strong
"Son of a bitch! You're a vampire?" She asked
"I saved her.. from the bridge.." He said. Lorelei's eyes widened as she removed her hand from Stefan's neck
"You were there that night?" She asked
"Yes, I only had time to save one.. they asked me to save her" He spoke. Lorelei wasn't shocked by the news. Grayson and Miranda did love Elena with their whole hearts. Lorelei decided she really didn't want blood on her hands the first day she was in town. She sighed
"I'll let you go, but if you try anything to hurt her, I will ram a wooden stake through your fucking chest" Lorelei said with a smile
"Look, I'm not here to make enemies. Neither are you. Are you planning to stay in town?" Stefan asked
"Well, originally I was just gonna head back home but I think I'll stay a while" She said with a smile
"Well I have an extra bedroom at my house if you'd like to stay there" Stefan said. Lorelei looked at him shocked
"I just threatened to murder you, and you offer me a bed?" She asked
"You're wearing a mask, you don't want anyone to know who you are. I'm just offering you a solution" Stefan said
"Is it the titles? I know I have nice tits. It's that, isn't it?" She asked. Stefan sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose
"You are beautiful but, uh.. not my type.. no offense" He spoke
"None taken, I guess I'm a little old for you, huh? You're not my type either don't worry, now if you had like a hot older brother.. I'd like his number" Lorelei said. Stefan looked her up and down with a strained smile
"You would love my older brother" Stefan spoke out before he began walking away. Lorelei followed him
"What's his name? Can I have his number? Is he hot?" Lorelei began questioning. Stefan didn't respond and kept walking
"You're really going to school? Stefan aren't you like a century old?" Lorelei asked Stefan as he prepared his backpack. It had been two months since Lorelei had come back to town. She had grown accustomed to drinking from blood bags. She preferred it from the vein, but didn't mind if it was in a bag. Blood was blood
"I'm going there to protect Elena" He said. Lorelei laughed
"You mean stalk her?" She asked. Stefan gave her a glare as he looked at her
"I'm not stalking her, just watching" He said
"That's literally what a stalker does" She spoke. Stefan rolled his eyes
"I've got to go. Behave" Stefan told her. She flipped him off
"Yeah, yeah. Zach is babysitting" She said as she rolled her eyes. Stefan was just about to leave when he stopped and turned around
"Oh yeah, stay out of my room" He said
"Um, no" She said. Stefan shook his head and left as Lorelei smirked. The first thing she did was enter Stefan's room
"Where are you hiding your secrets?" She asked herself as she began ransacking his room. Stefan had taken a precaution to hide anything that was important so Lorelei couldn't find it. She really didn't know much about Stefan's past, as he didn't give much up
Lorelei was drinking some bourbon as Stefan came back home
"How was your first day of school, honey?" Lorelei asked with a smirk, however it dropped when she saw the foul mood Stefan was in
"Don't start" He spoke before rushing upstairs. Lorelei just kinda sat there, shocked. She'd never seen him pissed off like that. Maybe Elena rejected his ass, she wasn't sure, but she didn't bother asking. She could tell he wasn't gonna tell her anything. She groaned as Zach walked in angrily with a newspaper in his hands
"Was this you?!" He asked. She rolled her eyes before reading the newspaper. Two people were in an 'animal attack'
"No? That guy Darren, is kinda bad. I would've screwed him first" She said before taking another sip of bourbon
"This isn't funny. You made a promise. If I let you stay here, you wouldn't kill anyone" Zach told her. She gave him a glare
"I didn't kill them! How do you know Stefan didn't do it?" Lorelei asked. Zach groaned
"I tried to ask, but he left through his window" Zach said
"Wait till he comes back" She spoke. Zach rolled his eyes angrily
"Want some bourbon?" She asked him, but he just walked off
Lorelei was currently in town shopping. She was in a clothing store trying on new outfits. She had compelled two people to follow her around and tell her what they thought of the outfits. She came out in one. It was a pink, skintight dress that really showed her cleavage
"What do we think?" Lorelei asked
"It's hot" One said
"Sexy" Another said. Lorelei decided she wanted this outfit, so she compelled the cashier and took it. She walked out and began walking home when an older man catcalled her. She turned and looked at him and gave him a wink. He really wasn't that good looking but maybe, just maybe she could have a little snack. The man began following her. She led him into an alley. A sick grin on his face as he believed he was getting lucky
"You're a naughty one, aren't ya?" He asked her. She gave him a grin as her fangs came out
"Don't scream" She compelled before she began to feed on him. The blood rushing into her mouth. She felt a rush of euphoria hit her as she continued to suck the blood from the man's neck. She understood that she couldn't kill him, so she stopped once the man began to get weak. She looked at the man as she licked his blood off of her lips with a smirk
"You won't remember this. Forget I was ever here. If anyone asks, just say you got a little kinky with your lover" Lorelei compelled. The man nodded, and she left. Lorelei returned to the Salvatore Boarding house late that night. Zach was in his office doing work. She kicked off her heels and jumped onto the couch to relax. A sigh of relief coming from her. Of course, her relaxation didn't last long as Stefan basically ran in, freaking out
"What's going on?" Zach asked, causing Lorelei to sit up and look at Stefan confused
"Someone was attacked tonight Zach, and it wasn't me" Stefan said. Zach looked at Lorelei. She raised her hands in defense
"I know I just got home, but it wasn't me" Lorelei said. She had acted as if hours earlier she hadn't fed from a creepy man. Stefan was unsure of what was happening. He ran upstairs
"Stefan, wait.. I want details!" Lorelei yelled as she ran after him barefoot. She ran into his room to see him staring at a crow
"What the fuck?" She asked before she picked up a book and threw it at the crow. The crow flew away and Stefan gave her a 'What the fuck?' look.
"I don't like crows" She stated. That's when they both felt a presence behind them. They turned to see a rather handsome man staring at them. Black hair with icy blue eyes
"Damon" Stefan said as the man smirked
"Hello, brother" Damon spoke with a smirk. The first thing Lorelei thought was that she wanted to absolutely jump this man's bones
"This is your brother? Stefan! You didn't tell me he was smoking hot" Lorelei attacked the brunette
"Oh, God.. not this again" Stefan groaned. Damon smirked
"And who's this pretty little thing?" Damon asked as he raised an eyebrow towards Lorelei
"I'm Lorelei.. your future wife" She spoke with a smirk. He gave her a wink and she almost folded but then she realized something. She had to make him, her bitch. Stefan was rolling his eyes
"The crow was a bit much, don't you think?" Stefan asked
"Wait till you see what I can do with the fog" Damon said
"I wanna see what you can do with the fog" Lorelei spoke up
"Lori, not now.." Stefan told her. She rolled her eyes
"Nuh, uh.. He's hot as fuck. I'm gonna make him my bitch" She spoke confidently. Damon gave her a look
"Appreciate the gesture, but I'm not gonna be anyone's bitch" Damon said with an annoyed look. Lorelei gave him a smirk as she walked over. She grabbed his collar and forced him to lean down closer to her
"We'll see about that.." She spoke softly into his ear before walking towards the door
"Let me know when you two are done.. I'd love to get to know you.. Damon" Lorelei spoke before she left the room to let the two brothers speak. She jumped down the stairs to get some more bourbon as she listened in on to the two boys fighting over Elena. She rolled her eyes. Did all vampires have a thing for underage girls? The next thing she heard was glass shattering
"What was that?!" Zach asked
"Oh the brothers fighting" Lorelei said unbothered as she took a sip of bourbon
"Uncle Damon's here?!" Zach asked shocked. Damon strolled into the house with a smirk
"Did I wake you Zach?!" Damon yelled. Lorelei rolled her eyes. She thought he was hot but the minute he brought up Elena her interest in him declined. She continued sipping her glass of bourbon as Damon approached
"So, Miss Lorelei.. wanna tell me what you're doing here? Are you and Stefan.. you know? Although that would be weird considering he's got a thing for Elena.." Damon spoke. Lorelei gave him a smirk
"Me and Stefan? As if.. he's too young for my tastes.. Although you are just the right age.. sucks you prefer underage girls" Lorelei said as she began walking away. Damon was taken aback
"I do not prefer underage girls.. I very much prefer hot girls like you!" Damon yelled
"If that's true, you should leave my niece alone!" Lorelei yelled back as she walked to her room
"Oh, don't play hard to get now, honey!" Damon yelled but Lorelei didn't respond
A/N: Chapter 1 is complete. I would like to inform everyone that the whole Caroline thing won't be taking place with Damon🙏
