"Sometimes when I close my eyes,
I feel so far away,
From the crowd, the city lights,
And there I just want to stay.
Snapping thoughts out my mind
As I came back to the present,
The sky looks blurry, but the weather seems pleasant.
Spinning pen in my hand,
As I sat down on the table,
Reciting words from the book,
As if it were a fable.
Rain drops start falling,
So I drew off the curtains,
Each drop falling softly,
As it washes the window stains.
Some people comes in life,
And you always want them to stay,
But they leaves you behind,
Just like the rain drop slips away.
Snapping out of my thoughts,
And realised it's 3 AM,
And I am feeling creep,
So, For now let's drift back to sleep.
