Stepping out of the office, Gu Xi saw Sheng Xiuyan standing on the other side of the hallway looked troubled as he looked down on his cp.
Sheng Xiuyan, too, seemed to have sensed something and looked up and saw Gu Xi.
Sheng Xiuyan was taken aback a little then immediately turned to leave.
Looking at Sheng Xiuyan's back, Gu Xi was baffled – She didn't think the two of them had any problems with each other. As Sheng Xiuyan was close with Gu Chenyi and Gu Yanxiao, even Gu Xi and Sheng Xiuyan had gotten somewhat close with each other.
Even though Gu Chenyi had told Gu Xi some funny stories about Sheng Xiuyan's past one day when he had nothing better to do but she didn't think they were that much of a big deal. Besides, she didn't think Sheng Xiuyan knew about that either.
Why was it that she felt like he was running away from her?
Gu Xi grumbled to herself.
Suddenly, Sheng Xiuyan, who had already taken a few steps forward, stopped and returned. He walked over to Gu Xi.
Looking at the stack of documents that Gu Xi was carrying, Sheng Xiuyan frowned slightly and said nonchalantly, "Here, give them to me."
"I'll help you carry them."
"Thank you," said Gu Xi with a smile.
The two walked side by side and Sheng Xiuyan sneaked a peek at Gu Xi walking next to him. Anyway he looked at her, she did not look like the [X] that he knew......
As he was thinking that, he looked down and saw the application form on top of the stack.
"You are entering into SL Youth Innovation?" asked Sheng Xiuyan.
"Yeah." Gu Xi nodded.
"I'll join you."
"Huh?" Gu Xi was taken aback a little.
"I mean, I am planning on signing up too......" The more he said, the stranger it sounded.

Gu Shao was looking through the information that was provided to him by Wang Wu.
From the information, Gu Xi did not run into any problems at school. In fact, she got along well with her classmates ever since she had attended HSAU.
Gu Shao felt less worried.
Wang Wu filled him in on something else, "We have also looked into her online friends."
Other than Gu Xi's normal family members and schoolmates, Gu Xi had only one friend on her social account –– [AAA] –– who was actually Sheng Xiuyan.
"Sheng Xiuyan is Miss Xiao Xi's classmate and Old Mr. Shen's grandson, son of First Young Mistress Shen. He is also a close friend of our young masters." Having said that, Wang Wu paused and added, "They are family friends. You don't need to worry about Young Miss chatting with him online."
Gu Shao gave Wang Wu a nonchalant look when he heard that but didn't comment on it.
Family friend. Yes.

Wang Wu was a bit surprised by Gu Shao's silence. He glanced over at Gu Shao's directly carefully and noticed that it wasn't that Mr. Gu wasn't talking but that he was very focused on his computer screen. He was frowning a little with no intention to say anything.
Out of curiosity, Wang Wu peeked at the computer screen.
Wang Wu was stunned silent when he saw the content on Gu Shao's screen. Mr. Gu wasn't looking at some important document or the news, but some sort of a forum.
[Why did a child suddenly ask their parents for pocket money?]
It seemed Mr. Gu had just looked it up and hadn't yet had a chance to shut it off.
Or that he had yet to read them.
