After Rimuru, Luffy, Nami, and Sanji are no longer in view, Dalton invited Vivi and Usopp inside his house, but they refused.
Seeing the determination and worry in their eyes, Dalton decides to wait outside as well.
Dalton: I see. Well, in that case, I'll join you
Vivi and Usopp appreciate his concern and allow him to join them.
Dalton: we did have some, you know. Some doctors however allow them to leave for some time ago for certain reasons. They were very good with what they did while they were still here. We were even well known for our advanced medical practices on this island
Vivi: So what went wrong?
Dalton: A few months ago, we suffered a vicious attack, and our country was destroyed.... destroyed by pirates
Vivi and Usopp were shocked.
Usopp: OH MAN! THE WHOLE COUNTRY!?
Vivi: So that's the reason you all acted that way when we showed up
Dalton: Yes. After that, the word "pirate" still terrifies us on this island. Sorry for the way we treated you. Their group was small as well, only five people. Their captain called himself black beard, their power is so great they destroyed our country in only a week
Vivi: And there are only five of them fighting? That's impossible!

Dalton was shocked that the duo knew wapol.
Dalton: What's that!? You mean you know who wapol is?
Usopp: know who he is? We know more than that he's the pirates that attacked our ship not too long ago. But I was able to take care of him. But now that I think of it, he did say something about heading to drum kingdom
Vivi: Yes, there's no question about it now. I remember it clearly. I'm sure I met him once during the reverie where my father took me to. I was still very young then, but I remember it to this day
Dalton: the reverie? Who are you?
Vivi: *flinch* Oh! I... uh? Well, the point is we do know wapol. We ran into him yesterday when we were on our way here
Dalton: Yesterday!? Are you sure about that!?
Vivi: But I don't understand what's going on here? He said he was a pirate. He didn't say anything about being a king?
Dalton: he's probably calling himself a pirate as some kind of disguise. In truth, wapol is only wandering the seas trying desperately to return to this island
Vivi: So wapol and the people on the ship with him were kicked off the island because they were no match for the pirates? Is that what happened?
Dalton's expression grew darker upon hearing Vivi's guess.
Dalton: That's not it, no... When it happened... when we were attacked... wapol's army didn't even try to fight... In fact, the second he learned how strong the pirates were, wapol grabbed his cronies, and he was the first to abandon the country and flee into the sea. After that, the country felt utter dispar... *snarl* we were left behind by our king!
Vivi: *angry* WHAT SORT OF KING WOULD DO THAT TO HIS COUNTRY?!! A KING ABANDONING HIS PEOPLE?! JUST THE THOUGHT OF IT MAKES ME ABSOLUTELY SICK!
Dalton: You're exactly right. The one good thing that came from the attack is the end of wapol's tyrannical rule. The people of this island have come together now trying to create a new country. So what we fear most right now is the return of wapol and his followers. The return of his rule. We can't afford him to come back with the country unstable. It would be the end of us! We want to build ourselves a new peaceful nation on this island
Somewhere in the ocean.
After rescuing wapol from drowning, wapol ordered his men to find the straw hat pirates for revenge.
Wapol began eating lunch while his soldiers repair the ship after Rimuru ate most of it.
During the repairs, one of his men spotted Drum Island from the crow's nest.
???: wapol come quickly!
Wapol: What is it now, Chess?! Have you found that pirate's ship yet?!
Chess: No, that isn't it, wapol! *crying* At long last, we're finally home
Wapol: we have!?
Chess: How many long months have passed wandering the sea?! That's our homeland! Drum kingdom!
Wapol's soldiers began cheering.
Wapol: it truly is! All right men full speed ahead!
Back to Usopp, Vivi, and Dalton.
As if on cue, a blizzard arrived as the mood got dark.
Usopp: The snow is really starting to pick up, Huh?
Vivi: (Nami, please just be okay)
Dalton: Tell me something. Who are you guys?
Usopp: Why do you ask that?
Dalton: You're a group who traveled with only seven people traveling the grand line on a ship without a doctor. It seems incredibly reckless
Usopp: In case you forgot, we're pirates. That's the reason you guys why you guys are pointing those guns at us, remember? True, we may be a small group buy with a brave warrior of the sea on board. There's nothing to fear from anyone or anything.
Dalton: Okay?
???: hello Dalton. I was looking for you
Suddenly, a woman approached the three.
Usopp mistaken the woman for a hiking bear and bowed at the lady.
Usopp: bow
Dalton: What can I do for you?
Woman: I heard the newcomers are looking for Dr. kureha
Dalton: Yes, but the sick woman's friend had already taken her up the mountain
Woman: Oh, that's too bad because I heard that doctor is in Cocoa weed right now
Usopp/Vivi/Dalton: *shocked* SHE'S WHERE!?
Usopp: SO NAMI AND THE OTHERS ALREDY PASSED HER!!
Following Luffy, Rimuru, Sanji, and Nami.
As they were running, they were caught in a blizzard.
Luffy: it feels like it has gotten colder. The wind is picking up, too
Sanji: *irritated* So why don't you think about putting on real shoes?! Even seeing your feet is painful

Suddenly, a rabbit with fangs and claws leaped out of the snow and attacked the group.
Rimuru, Luffy, and Sanji dodged the attack and kept running.
Rimuru: Luffy, I think whoever told you that ment that people don't fall asleep when they're lost in the snow. People can go to sleep safely if they're inside their house to keep them warm
Sanji: That would make sense
The rabbit tried to attack again, but the group evaded it again, which frustrated the bunny.
Sanji: Then, did you know that women in snowy countries have skin as smooth as silk
Luffy: How come?
The bunny kept attacking and attacking, but the group kept dodging.
Sanji: Isn't it obvious! I'll explain. *dodge* When you get cold, you rub your skin to warm it up, right? It's always freezing cold in snowy countries like this, so women keep rubbing their skin all the time so it becomes all white and silly smooth *dodge*

The rabbit tries to attack again, but Sanji kicked it in the face and sent it flying.
Sanji: *Angry* YOU'RE A PAIN IN THE ASS!!
Rimuru: Don't bully the poor bunny Sanji. It probably just wants to play
Luffy: But that guy was annoying! Can't he see that we don't have time to play?
Rimuru: it's probably lonely
They kept running until they were stopped by a horde of massive bunnies.
Rimuru points at the bunny on the shoulder of a rabbit with a scar on its face.
Rimuru; hey Sanji. isn't that the bunny you punted earlier?
Sanji: Yeah, but what are those things?
Luffy: Well, they're big and white, so they must be polar bears
Rimuru: No, I think those are the lapahns, Dalton told us about
One of the lapahns pounces at the group.
Sanji: LOOK OUT!
All three dodged the attack.
Sanji: Seriously?! How can it move like that. Is it a gorilla?!
Luffy: No, it's a polar bear
Sanji: *irritated* IT'S A RABBIT!
Luffy: How did you go from gorilla to rabbit?
Rimuru: I just told you two they're lapahns
Sanji: In and case there sure are a lot of them
Nami: hu...ry
Luffy: Just rest. We'll handle this
Sanji: Yeah, hang in there a little longer, Nami
Rimuru: Get on. We need to get to the doctor quickly
Rimuru turned became slime then grew, changing her shape, and became a brachiosaurus.
Luffy: Right!
Luffy and Sanji got on Rimuru's back.
Rimuru began moving as fast as she could.
Many of the lapahns tried attacking Rimuru, but she coated her body in armament haki to defend against the claws and teeth.
Luffy stuck his tongue at the lapahns.
Luffy: Heh
the lapahns got furious and roared loudly.
Lapahn flock: RAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!
The lapahns leaped high up, but Sanji grabbed Luffy's head while doing a handstand.
Sanji: Party table kick course!
Sanji began spinning as he kicked all the lapahns in the face.
Sanji: *irritated* Did you have to taunt them, you idiot!?
Rimuru: Just focus on keeping Nami safe, Luffy!
Luffy: Sorry
Elsewhere, after learning that Dr. kureha is in another village, Dalton got a sleigh and started going to Cocoa weed Village with Usopp and Vivi.
Dalton: This is my mistake. I was aware that Dr. kureha had come to towns from the last few days, but I assumed she left and wouldn't be back for quite some time
Usopp: Don't worry about it, It isn't your fault. I'm glad that Rimuru thought about splitting up so that we can tell the doctor she has a patient on the way since we couldn't reach Luffy and the others!
Vivi: That's true. I hadn't thought about if the doctor wasn't home, so I'm really impressed with Rimuru's foresight
Dalton: forgive us. Forgive this land for not having more doctors
Vivi: Don't say that. This isn't something you should be apologizing for, Dalton
Usopp: she's r8ght about that
Dalton: ....let's hurry!
After a while, Usopp began wondering who Dalton was.
Usopp: Dalton, you haven't told us who you are yet. It doesn't seem like you're just an ordinary villager. Your way of speaking makes me think of a military officer
Dalton: You're correct. I did serve this country under our former tyrant wapol
Dalton began telling the duo about his past and how he served wapol's father then wapol.
He continues to tell them how wapol made the people of drum kingdom suffer by taking the best doctors for himself and called them the "20 MDs", then either execute or exile all the other medical experts, forcing the citizens to beg for a slim chance of getting treated.
The horror and disgust in Dalton's voice told the two that wapol as gone through with his careless and tyrannical plan.
Vivi: So basically, wapol is ruling the country by taking the citizens' lives hostage? That's not ruling! What kind of a king would do that?! It's tyranny
Dalton glances at Vivi and has come to the conclusion of her identity.
Meanwhile, back at the going merry.
Zoro took off his shirt to begin ice swimming.
Zoro: *shivering* i-i-it's freezing out here. M-my body is going numb, I feel like a popsicle. Looks like I got a lot more training to do. Hey Karoo, want to come down here with me? It's a great way to get your bird body in shape
Karoo: q-q-quack!
Karoo closed his eyes and shook his head to reject Zoro's offer.
When Karoo opened his eyes, Zoro was already gone.
Karoo: QUACK!!?
Karoo assumed that Zoro passed out and began drifting downstream and dove in to find Zoro before he drowns.
Meanwhile, Zoro who began swimming when Karoo rejected his offer.
Afterward, Zoro got lost and encountered an old lady in a reindeer drawn sleigh.
Zoro: im saved! Hey, old lady, sorry to bother you, but do you think you could drop me off to a village nearby or something?
Zoro took a closer look and was surprised by what the old lady was wearing.
Zoro: woah! What are you doing dressed like that in this weather!? I've seen some weird old ladies before, but you, you're--
Before zoro could finish the old lady gestures for him to come close.
Zoro got close, wondering about what she'll say.
???: Be careful how you talk to me, little boy
Zoro: Huh?
The lady punched Zoro far away.
???: im a hundred and thirty nine years old, and I'm still young and strong. Let's go chopper. That boy is clearly some kind of freak
She went off, leaving Zoro alone in the snow.
Zoro: *angry* Come back here! What the hell is her problem?! Dumb old hag!
With nothing left to do, Zoro continued with his training to warm up while finding somewhere to warm up.
On the shore of drum island.
Wapol and his men have landed on the island and killed some citizens who were watching the coast.
Wapol: mahahahahaha we've arrived at last! After all this time, I've returned to drum kingdom, im finally home
Chess: Heh! Were they trying to be a real military, kuromarimo?
Kuromarimo: Dunno. They're a bunch of idiots and amateurs. What were they thinking of shooting at us like that?
Wapol: Oh my dear, drum island. Your towering majesty has grown even more beautiful in my absence. Chess is the castle, alright?
Chess: Yes. It looks just as good as when we left it. It's perfect
Wapol: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go home, boys. I'm done being a pirate, I'm gonna be king again. Onward Robson!
Wapol's soldiers began marching, but wapol's would hippo refused to go.
Wapol: Robson, move! Why are you just standing here?!
Robson: Hmm?
Wapol: Get moving already!
Soldier: wapol we have a problem!
Wapol: What's the matter now?
The soldier pointed at the going merry.
Soldier: the pirates. The ones from the other day, their ship is over there
Wapol: *angry* what!? Not them! What are the straw hat pirates doing in my country?! How dare they come here after pretending not to even know about it!? Do they not care?! I have a painful recovery! You go kill those pirates now! I demand it! And bring the girl with blue hair to me at once!
Soldier: um actually the ship is empty, sir.
Wapol: Where are they?
Soldier: we don't know where they went
Wapol: *angry* Do you want to be executed?!
Chess: Our apologies wapol. Please forgive him
Kuromarimo: This man is just a useless subordinate

Chess: we took the liberty of inspecting the footprints that led away from the ship and have some information
Kuromarimo: Indeed. It looks as if the footprints are headed to Bighorn
Wapol: very good. That was absolutely brilliant. In that case, we're off to bighorn. we'll stop there to fire a salute to the restoration of drum kingdom
As wapol and his men made their way to Bighorn village and injured citizen made their way to Cocoa weed village to warn the island of wapol's return.
Back to Luffy, Rimuru, Sanji, and Nam.
After fighting off the lapahns, they couldn't see any more coming.
Sanji: Good, it looks like they're gone
Luffy: Alright! We lost them
Rimuru stopped.
Rimuru: Nope. They're right in front of us
Luffy and Sanji looked ahead and saw the lapahns far ahead of them.
Luffy: they don't give up!
Rimuru looked at the boss of the lapahns, in the eyes, wondering about what the rabbits would do.
The lapahns began bouncing.
Luffy: Why are they jumping up and down? Are they grouchy 'cause hungry?
Sanji: I don't think so
After a moment, Rimuru's eyes grew wide, realizing what's happening.
Rimuru: Sanji, Luffy, hold on tight!
Rimuru shrunk down and changed into a T-rex and started running away.
Sanji and Luffy almost toppled over.
Luffy: Rimuru, what's wrong?
Rimuru: they're trying to start an avalanche
Luffy: Can't you just turn into a bigger dinosaur?
Rimuru: The brachiosaurus was my biggest, but at that distance, the snow would get so big even that form would be buried.
The lapahns jumped away after successfully causing an avalanche.
Sanji: DAMN THOSE STUPID BUNNIES! IM GONNA KILL THEM!
Luffy: RUN FASTER RIMURU!!
Rimuru: WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M DOING YOU IDIOT!!
As Rimuru kept running, the avalanche is already on top of them.
Rimuru jumped as high as she could, changing into her human form and growing Pterasaur wings.
Rimuru turned her arms into slime tentacles and quickly grabbed the others, and landed on an uprooted tree.
Sanji: COULDN'T WE HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE CAPTAIN?!
Rimuru: I WAS PLANNING ON CARRYING YOU GUYS ONCE WE REACHED THE BASE OF THE MOUNTAIN!! THREE PEOPLE ARE ALREADY TOO HEAVY TO CARRY FOR LONG DISTANCES, EVEN WITH DINOSAUR WINGS!!
Luffy: SO WHAT NOW?! EVEN IF WE DON'T SINK IN THE SNOW WE'RE GOING TO KEEP SLIDING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING!
Sanji: we gotta think of something! It's all because of those bunnies. The next time I see them, I'm gonna turn them into--
Rimuru interrupted Sanji by shoving his head down.
Suddenly, a Lapahn leaped over him.
Rimuru: Keep your heads down!
Suddenly, more lapahns sliding down on debris began attacking.
Luffy: WHAT DO WE DO!!?
Rimuru: SLIDE FASTER!!
Sanji: WHAT THE HELL IS THEIR PROBLEM?!!
The group began sliding faster to avoid the lapahns until they saw a rock ahead of them.
Luffy: WE'RE GONNA CRASH!!
Rimuru: (i gotta do something!)
Before Rimuru could think of anything, Sanji threw her along with Luffy and Nami.
Sanji: YOU BETTER KEEP NAMI SAFE LUFFY!
Rimuru/Luffy: SANJI!!
Rimuru and Luffy landed on the rock as Sanji sunk into the snow.
Rimuru: YOU DUMBASS!!
Luffy: WARN US BEFORE YOU DOSOMETHING LIKE THAT YOU JERK!!
Luffy stretched his arm to grab Sanji's hand but snatched his glove instead.
Rimuru/Luffy: SANJI!!
Following Zoro after getting lost again.
Zoro continued training until he felt the ground shake.
Zoro: What's going on? What's with the rumbling?
He looked up the mountain and saw an avalanche coming his way.
He tries to get away but got buried.
