Feeling the fresh air leave me at the front door

At the coffee shop as I enter

Getting an amora of coffee grounds

To find a quiet spot

As I take a look around to see everyone inside the shop

Seeing a loving couple having a deep conversation

To see college students going inside the coffee shop to work on their homework

And then there is e as I sit here and write about what I'm feeling

Feeling alone in a room full of people

Seeing how beautiful friendship can be

Coffee shop a season of hope
