PRISHA'S POV
I started screening for help...
"Nooo!! Please nooo !! Don't do this , i beg you please don't "
I felt someone shaking me trying to wake me up.
After several tries i finally opened my eyes and saw bhaiya and di beside me.. bhaiya engulfed me in a tight hug..
"Bacche, stop crying, it's ok! I am here na" bhaiya consoled me. While tears spilled out of my eyes, what was my fault? I thought.
"Pri kiddo please Rona band karo!! Shh it's fine!!" Di tried comforting me, nothing was fine, these panic attacks, this anxiety and the most horrible and terrible part about it......my Nightmares
I clung more onto bhaiya and cried a little more, feeling scared... While he just patted my back.
And before I knew i dozed off onto his shoulder.
Next morning~
I woke up from the annoying sound of my alarm, i looked beside me only to find di sleeping next to me holding my hand.. it's hard to believe that she is gonna get married soon . my di is gonna get married. I don't why but I feel like she's not happy with this marriage . Or maybe I am just overthinking it!
I sighed, shrugging off my thoughts i planted a soft and loving kiss on her forehead.
I got freshened and wore a pretty navy blue coloured saree pairing it up with jhumka and my precious anklet.
Di too was done with her morning routine, we both decided to step downstairs for breakfast!!!
"Good morning everyone" i said as soon as I entered the dining room.
"Good morning baccha" baba and bhaiya said at the exact same time.
While maa just blankly nodded, i passed her a small smile.
We all dined in, as we all were busy devouring our breakfast, that's when Maa said..
"They're going to come tomorrow " maa said breaking the silence.. by "they" maa meant the "RAJVANSH FAMILY"
Di's spoon fell off her hands, i faced her, i can see how pale di looks right now. Is she ok? I thought. The chain of my thoughts broke when Maa exclaimed "And i don't want prisha in that moment in this house" maa said breaking the leftover pieces of my heart...
"But- " baba tried to say something but I cut him off in the middle .
"baba it's ok, I can stay at Abhi's place and moreover it's not a big deal." I tried convincing them.
"Baccha-" bhaiya was cut off in between, i knew he would try to convince me to stay here only, but I can't afford to ruin Maa's mood.
"It's ok Bhai" i said masking my face with a beautiful smile.
"Ok so I am leaving for the college" i said and walked out before planting a kiss over Baba's cheeks.
"Take care pri" i heard bhaiya say before i disappeared out of the house.
"I will " i said running out of the house.
OUTSIDE THE HOUSE ~
"heyyyy" Abhi greeted me as soon as he noticed me.
"happy birthday to you~
Nobody likes you, you look like an animal, go back to the zoo~i said singing him a birthday song and engulfing him in a hug." I sang this lil birthday song for him, after all he's the birthday boy today!!
"Hehe thanks priii !! Where's my gift?" He asked, and I pulled out a bracelet and made him wear it.
"Awww thank youuuuuu " he exclaimed while i just dramatically bowed at him.
"You okay " Abhi asked me as soon as he noticed "my famous fake Smile "
"I am " i said as I tried hiding my gloomy face from him.
"Pri don't lie" he spoke thinning his eyebrows.
And i felt a lone tear slipping out of my eye.
"Abhi can I stay at your apartment for tomorrow?" I finally asked him.
"Pagal ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai? Jo Mera hai vo Tera hai. Or Jo Tera hai vo Mera hai , bhul gayi kya?" He exclaimed wiping off my tears.
"Btw , i see someone is looking beautiful today" Abishek spoke in a teasing manner.
"what's with this makeup-shakeup huh? Trying to impress someone or what?"
"Stop it na Abhi" i whined and he laughed at my frustrated face.
"Bhen sacchi bata, is someone in love?" Abhishek teased her.
"Ye vo puch raha hai jiski Sonam bajwa ke alawa aajtak koi crush nahi bani" Prisha said sarcastically.
"Tera toh ban bhi Gaya, konsa tu aur vo relationship mein hein, toh tune bhi kuch nahi ukhada crush banake" Abhishek scoffed.
"Kutta kahika" prisha muttered out.
"Love is not my thing because love is waste of time." Abhishek said.
"Karna hai waste of time" prisha sang and they both giggled.
"Ok let's go then?" He asked offering me his hand.
I giggled and held his hand and we left for our college.
Abhi and I have been friends since our childhood ! He's the child of my parents best friend.. so basically we are beside each other since our diaper days. Hehe. That is why he's so close to me. He can see through the lies that I go around telling people..
He's basically like a brother to me... I am lucky to have him in my life. I cannot thank God enough for this idiotic brother of mine.
We reached the college~
"Chale?" I asked him, holding his hand in a firm yet a gentle way.
"Haan chal" he said and we both walked out hand in hand in the college. He knows very well that i have social anxiety that's why he always helps me reduce it by grabbing my hands while going into any sort of a crowded place.
After the classes we started leaving for the event but before that we grabbed a small cake, and decorated it with candlesticks , and celebrated his birthday.
At the event ~
The party was at its peak Right now maybe cause of how late we are... It's already 5. 30pm.
Everybody was dancing and enjoying themselves.
I too participated in one of these compititions, tbh I was forced to. Of course Abhishek did.
Just then we heard an announcement, it was from our senior and also our CR of the music department.
"Thank you all for joining us enlightening this event . Now i would like to invite miss prisha " He stated.
"Priiiii please gooo it's your time to shine, dekh bhagwan bhi yahi chahata hai go ahead and show everyone what you are capable of" he encouraged me.
"I sure I'll mess up, what if I ended up making a mess there?" i exclaimed while shaking my head.
"Please pri ! Tu hamesha Mera nahi sunti, tu agar nahi jaayegi na toh mein rudra ko bata dunga ki tujhe uspar crush hai" he told me smirking, Aghhhhhh he's a born blackmaler.
"Ohkkk fine" i said before getting up.
I went to the stage and held the mic in my shivering hands before i closed my eyes, taking a deep breath in and I started singing..
The one that I am singing is one of my favourites , it is because i have witnessed my parents perform on this soothing song several times. They were my favourite couple to ever exist.

As i completed the last note of it I heard the sound of Everybody clapping for me. My parents would have been so proud of me.
I stepped down the stage. Only to be engulfed in a bone crashing hug.
" I am really proud of you my gurl. You sang so perfectly. Now my bestie is a star. YAYYYYYY. I love you priiiii" He said dramatically while hugging me tightly.
We walked out, talking about random stuff.
I noticed Abhi's eyes getting bigger as he stared behind me. Being confused turned around to see who the person was. However, by seeing the person in front of me my words died down deep in my throat.
"Sorry to bother you but I come here to let you know that you have sung very well today and you have great vocals And also not to forget you look very pretty today" I BLUSHED. And the person was none other than.............
RUDRA RANAWAT
MY CRUSH!
Ahh-th-ank-s i shuttered clearly fluttered by hearing him complimenting me.
He smirked probably from the effect he has on me.
"Ohk so guys I am leaving now, Take care prisha" he says before leaving.
"HOLY FVCK WHAT JUST HAPPENED HERE? IS IT REAL? OH GOD SOMEONE PINCH ME PLEASE-" I cut him off in middle.
"Shhh...shut up abhi stop being dramatic" i say shhshing him while hiding my red burning cheeks.
"It was my birthday but it seems like you got the gift instead" he said while my cheeks heat up.
"Blushy-blushy huh?" He teased me making me more red.
"Stop ittttttttttttttttttttttt " he laughed at my antics.
"Abhi sun? Ghar chale? " I ask getting normal again.
"As you wish Mrs. ranawat" saying this he ran away, while i chased him.
