"L/N do you mind pretending to be my Girlfriend for a little while?"
after a few seconds hs words finally sank "Huh?" 'has he lost his mind? no somebody swapped him out, nanami saying something so absurd?'
"Nanami I think your fever hasn't gone down" I placed my hand on his forehead and the temperature was fine "You don't have to force yourself if you don't want to" He said gently taking my hand of his forehead "This is not a joke?" He shook his head No and it really got me thinking
'I mean of course I would love to be his girlfriend but a fake one?' I had a worried look on my face which nanami seemed to noticed because he spoke up again "It would only be in front of my parents other than that we can just be Friends" 'Ouch'
'Maybe I should agree who knows we might start dating for real it's worth a try' thinking for a few minutes I decided to make up my mind and go along with it
though there was a part of me that knew I was gonna say yes anyway
"I mean if it helps you out then sure and It's not like I mind" Although I said yes he was still a bit unsure even Though he suggested it to began with
"L/N I'm not forcing you or anything right?" He asked grabbing the hand he was holding and placed it between both of his and gave me a worried look
'Omg You looking like that is making me blush you're so cute Nanami!, and those are some warm ass hands' I managed to put up a calm front whilst my Stomach melted Me? as his girlfriend? even if fake
"No Nanami you're not forcing me I'm happy to help and also I think you should drop the last name it would seem suspicious I don't think that couples call each other by their last names also can You tell me a few thing about yourself too?" I replied putting my other hand on the ones he was holding mine in "Also how long have we been 'dating' exactly?"
"I suppose we could say about 2 months? it seems believable?" He said dropping my hands which made me frown but then I replied quickly "Yeah sure we could go with that"
"alright then...Y/N" he said with a serious face but I could see the blush on it 'Oh my fricken god the way my name rolls of his tongue'
After getting a few snacks and tea ready to sever his parents we sat down on the couch while his parents were on the other side of the couch and a table between us "How long have you been dating my son? uhhh..." the blonde women said grabbing her cup of tea
"It's L/N Y/N Mrs. nanami and it's been about 2 months" I answered her question and gave her a sweet smile which she mirrored before taking a sip of the tea I made
I looked at the Nanami's father who still had that same expression, I was about to say something when he beat me to it "So how old are you?" he said no more like spat Guess he didn't really like me "I'm 26 sir but I'm turning 27 very soon" I gave him the same smile but he just rolled his eyes 'damn he really doesn't like me and Why do I feel like I'm being interrogated?'
"Where did you guys meet?" The old mad said again also picking up his cup of tea, nanami spoke this time "we've been working together for a few years now and we also went to the same high school but we weren't in the same class "
at the mention of the school I went to he seemed a bit convinced, The high school I went to was not necessarily really expensive but hard to get in to because of it's entrance exams and it really takes a lot to make sure your grades don't go down
The middle school I went to on the other hand was full of rich snobs, that's also where I met Gojo but that's a story for another time
"So you're a teacher Y/N and you also teach at the same school as my kento that's amazing"
'How the hell did this guy managed to get such a sweet women as his wife must've been hard to deal with him' I gave a closed eyed smile
"Must've been hard to deal with Him" My eyes shot open and I nearly dropped my cup of tea I looked up at Mrs. nanami who was smiling
"pardon?"
"Well I was just saying it has to be hard to deal with Kento snice he can be blunt sometimes you know" The women tilted her head to the side a bit confused at my face "Yeah Nan- ken- he can be pretty blut at times but I know h-he's not trying to be rude or anything I've gotten pretty used to it" I blushed looking down trying to hide it
his mother just chuckled but his father was looking at me suspiciously which I managed to catch when I looked back up
"ahh yes He can be pretty blunt He has had that habit ever since He was child I guess He picked it up from me" Mr. Nanami said that but made sure to put extra focus on the word 'he'
'crap'
"Ma you should try these cookies I made them yesterday they're are really good" Nanami told pushing the plate slightly towards his parents, Mrs. nanami grabbed one and took a bite "you're right they're delicious"
"Uhh so k-kento is a really good baker" I randomly said since it was one of the things he told me he liked, all of the three blondes looked at me "uh I also like to bake a little too but I'm nothing compared to him" Mrs. nanami eyes lit up with excitement "Yes He is really good and I'm glad you guys have things in common"
"Yeah I like to read to and so does he, so we read books together in silence sometimes it's really quite nice" I just made that up on the spot but they seem to buy it "That is so cute I can't believe you hid her from me kento how could you?" his mother looked at him with a pout
"I was planning for Y/N to meet you but I guess I just wasn't sure yet" 'I wished he said my name over and over again I'll never get use to it'
"so what do your parents do?" Mr. Nanami suddenly asked which made me look towards him, I really didn't want to be a downer since Mrs. Nanami seemed so happy but I had to answer his question either way "Um they used to own a restaurant" 'please don't ask more'
"Used to? did they close it?" He asked taking a sip of his tea "well they died in a car accident when I was about 6 My aunt raised me ever since then"
The room went silent as usual Nanami looked back at me as if trying to ask if I was okay And I was, it's true I was really sad when I realized that I would never be able to see them again and still am but this was one of the reasons I didn't like telling people this because the room goes all sad and Everyone looks at me with those pitiful eyes
'I know they don't have any bad intentions but it really pisses me off it's as if all of them they are looking down on me' Mr. Nanami spoke "I'm sorry for asking you about that"
"No it's alright you didn't know" I looked at his mother and there they were eyes full of piti "I'm sorry for your loss well how's your aunt then"
"Well she unfortunately passed away a few years ago, I'm sorry I didn't wanted to be such a downer" Mrs. Nanami shook her head "no sweetie we're really sorry for asking something like that it must've been tough for you" I placed my tea cup down and looked up "It's really fine tho you didn't know"
'I really want the topic to change' I guess it was written all over my face snice Nanami's mother grabbed her purse and took out a photo album it wasn't that big but it was decent "Would you like to see kento's baby pictures?" Her mother suddenly said making me a little shocked
"sure" Nanami suddenly got up and tried to take the book from her but his mother smacked his hand away "Ma, maybe some other times not right now what were you here for again?" his voice sounded desperate as he reached out his hand for the album but his mother got up and sat next to me "Do I need a reason to see my own son?" she said opening the album
"Kento there's no stopping your mother why don't you clean the table up" His father said getting up when his phone started ringing and went outside to take the call, Nanami sighed and started to pick up the plates and cup
I tried getting up to help him but his mother just sat me back down "he can take care of it don't worry why don't you look at this picture of his" she said letting go of my shoulder and pointing to a picture where a little nanami was playing with toys "Omg he looks so cute" I said looking at the picture
Nanami tried looking at the picture too but his mother shot him a glare causing him to leave with the dishes
A small time skip
I was still sitting on the couch it had been about 20 minutes snice nanami's mother has been showing me his Baby pictures and now he was even sitting next to her so she was sandwiched between us while he tried to make her stop
"Ma let's not show this page why not skip it" He said try to tell her but she was just not listening "Why not? this is the best part look it's a picture of him getting out of the bathtub kids grow up so fast" She said as I stared at a picture of a naked 3 year old nanami And I let out a snort he looked at me with betrayal in his eyes that said 'how could you'
"Yeah he's so cut-cute" I was trying my best not to laugh at how embarrassed he looked "Oh yes and look at him in this one with his pacifier"
He looked cute in every one of them and she eventually stopped when he begged her enough "Alright but can I atleast show her the one where you had peanut butter all over your face?" she was giving the album to him but then stopped and asked "No please Ma can I just have it"
"Oh come on I have to show her that one here Y/N Lo-" she tried to turn the book towards me but Nanami was holding it with dear life "No that's quite alright I doubt she's interested"
"Huh But I would love to see it show me please" I said with a teasing tone and His eyes looked like that of a kicked puppy's "See she is kento just give it to me will you?" his mother tried grabbing the book from him but he wasn't buddging
I couldn't hold it anymore and let out a laugh they both stopped and looked at me "Pft hahaha you guys seem very close you look very cute" His mother smiled with her eyes closed and let go of the book "I suppose so I really love him and his sister very much"
I chuckled but then realized her words "sister?" She looked confused maybe because she was surprised that he didn't mentioned her "You don't know about his sister did he not mention her?"
"I mean of course he did I just suddenly got surprised when you talked about her" I tried playing it off and she seemed like she bought it "It's such a shame akane couldn't be here with us and is out of the country she would love to meet you I'm sure" 'so her names akane huh'
"Yes I would love to meet her too I'm sure she's just as sweet as you Mrs. Nanami" she chuckled at what I said "why thank you"
His father then came back from outside and walked in "I think it's time for us to leave honey" he said grabbing his keys that he placed on the table Mrs. Nanami got up too and so did I "aww so quickly and I was just having fun too"
Mrs Nanami said with a hint of sadness and then turned towards me and gave me a hug and it caught me off guard "I guess I'll see you next time then Y/N it was nice meeting you" I returned the hug and she whispered "give me your number I'll show you all of his baby photos don't worry
I smiled "Yes It was nice meeting you to" she let go and grabbed her phone out of her purse and we exchanged numbers she then walked towards Nanami and kissed him on his cheek "I'll probably not visit for some time since it takes a while to get here" she said smooching his other cheek too and I giggled

"Okay then I'll see you next time bye bye" Mrs Nanami said leaving out of the front gate and towards the parking area, we both went back inside the apartment And I was planning to leave after grabbing my stuff I walked to the couch where I'd left my purse and took it But then I saw nanami going into the kitchen to most likely to clean the dishes and I did say I'd help him so I went to the kitchen
"Hmm is something wrong?" He asked stopping as he was about to turn the tap on "Well I did say I'd Help you with the dishes so it'd be rude if I just left" I said walking towards him "I mean of course if you want me to leave then sure I mean I do think I overstayed my welcome"
"No you were a big help I'd really like to thank you for that Y/- L/N" He stopped himself from calling me by my first name and I smiled "It's alright you can call me Y/N I don't mind Nanami" I turned the tap on and grabbed one of the cups and started cleaning it with a sponge "It's not fair if you call me Nanami then Y/N " he said taking the cup and sponge from my hand and giving me the clean rag to dry the dishes instead
"I prefer Nanami if I'm being honest" I saw that his hands weren't moving so I looked up to see him staring at me when he saw my eyes he quickly replied "If that's what you'd like" he said looking back down at the sink and started cleaning the cup
"My parents can be a little much sometimes" He said not looking up "No I really enjoyed your mother's company she's very cheerful and you're father is... interesting" I replied taking the clean cup and drying it with the rag "I Apologize I didn't mean for him to ask you such a personal question I hope you didn't feel uncomfortable"
"I didn't he it's fine He didn't know and I am use to it it's nothing new"
"I'm am truly sorry about them and my sudden favor I just hadn't seen my mother so happy in a while"
"No need to apologize Nanami"
It was pretty silent after that until he spoke up after a few minutes "Would you like to have dinner here? I can order something after we are done if you like" I was gonna decline but I really didn't want to cook anything after I got back home
"Sure I'd love that"
Time skip
You're just back at your apartment
I opened the door with my keys and walked inside honestly I was really tired, I was gonna shower and then go to bed and I did just that I ran in there and had a hot shower when I got out I changed into the most comfy oversized hoodie I could find with shorts and went into the kitchen for some water
I opened the fridge to see a box of cake that I hadn't placed there before with a note that said 'YOUR WELCOME ps. satoru' in big bold letters with a smiley face My lips turned into a smile I grabbed it with the water bottle ofc (stay hydrated)
I sat on my bed and started to chowdown on my cake as I was I opened my phone and saw a Hello and good night text from Mrs. Nanami and replied with a hello and goodnight text too and then changed the number to Mrs. nanami I then clicked on Gojo
