"Something is wrong, something is most definitely wrong..." Adina thought as she sat down next to an injured Ymir whilst historia tried to prove Ymir's innocence
Although they were trying to mask everything as fine, it didn't take a genius to tell something was up and Adina knew it had something to do with her and most likely Reiner and bertholdt
Sasha was jittery around her, erens tone wasn't as upbeat, armin and mikasa weren't talking to her and jean, the entire ride back to the walls was antagonising, Reiner with his lack of social cues was still babbling on about random shit whilst everyone gave him uneasy looks
Although her and jean road together, there was a foreign silence between them that sent alarm bells off in Adinas head
Before that day, Adina never felt anything but safe with jean but in those moments, not only could she feel how he tensed up at any sudden movement she made but his replies to her were short and concise
But she couldn't do anything just yet, she had to pretend like everything was fine, if they tried anything, then she'd make a move even if it meant turning against her friends, but until then, she'd have to fake ignorance once more like she had been doing for the past five years
"This sucks" Connie groaned as he slumped his hand over Adinas shoulder, the bald headed boy and Christa being the only cadet that's attitude towards Adina hadn't changed, meaning two things, everyone else had been told something, and Annies identity had most likely been revealed
"Yeah, I'm bored" Adina sighed as she listened to Connie's rant for a moment until Reiners words caught her attention
"You saw it armin, tell her how Annie nearly crushed me like an ant!!" Reiner yelled
"Are you serious?" Adina thought as she felt woozy, how could he be so stupid, he wasn't supposed to know she was the female titan yet he said her name
And to armin of all people?! And telling by the mop headed blondes facial expression, he had come to that realisation aswell
"You good adi?" Connie asked as he looked at the pale faced girl
"Yeah.." she muttered as jean made his way over
"Adina, can we talk?" He asked, his head hung low
"Nah I'm good.." Adina stated as she subconsciously took a step back the closer jean got
"Please, Alves, please" The boy half whispered to the confusion of Connie. "I-Fine, okay" Adina muttered as the ash blonde grabbed onto her hand not with any force
There was no anger behind his grasp, it felt loving and soft
"Please tell me it isn't true" Jean sighed as him and Adina stood behind some barrels
So they do know
All Adina needed was that confirmation for her to fully detach herself from her life on paradis, this was it.
"What are you talking about" She said in a monotone
"Don't act stupid Alves" Jean sighed
"So you're addressing me by my first name now?" She asked focus her attention on the waving red flag near Reiner bertholdt and eren
"You know what, I don't even mind the titan bit, you've killed innocent people, thousands, yet you still keep that drawing of me in your pocket as if you really cared about me" Jean scoffed
"I must've looked pathetic in your eyes on the day of graduation" He sighed, his words tugging at her heart "No! You didn-" Adina said before she saw a view that sent her world crashing down
"Dammed if I know what's right anymore" Reiner said as he slowly took off the makeshift arm sling historia had made for him, revealing his healing arm
"Who cares" He continued, Adina noticing how everyone had stopped moving "No choice but to face what I've done."
"As a Warrior. No road left but the one that leads to the end"
"Adina don't" Jean practically begged her as he noticed her walking towards Reiner and bertholdt
"Reiner!! Right now?? Here?! Where doing this??" Bertholdt asked as he looked around for Adina
"What should I do then?" Adina said "run away with you? Get real jean, the world is cruel. Whatever we had wasn't meant to last" She stated, her lips slightly quivering as jean watched her hoping it was all a lie
"Yes. Right here right now! We settle this once and for all!" Reiner stated as he made his way to eren
"Watch out Reiner!" Adina yelled as she used her elbows to push mikasa who had snuck up behind the blonde off balance
"Really adi?" Mikasa said as she looked as the cut she'd landed on her friends arm
"Fine then, you're in my way" She declared, slicing Reiners arm and hand off and spitting bertholdts throat, Adina attempting to avoid her attack but feeling a sharp pain his her stomach as mikasa sword pierced through it
"Adina!!" Both historia and jean yelled, Adina meeting their teary eyes along with a distraught Connie and Sasha
"Eren!! Run away!" Armin yelled as he ran towards the brunette
"I'm sorry" Adina said to her former friends as a bright light engulfed the three of them
"Adina?!" Historia shrieked once more as a bush of wind sent her and Ymir flying "Ymir!!"
"No.." Jean muttered, only to be pulled away by Sasha and Connie allowing him to narrowly avoid the rumbling equipment
Historia watched as a giant skinless had reached out an grabbed Ymir, the colossal titan , or rather berthold placing her and another two other soldiers in its mouth
Reiner took this distraction as an opportunity to slide down the walls with eren in his hands, the angry Jaeger biting his hand leading to a brawl between the two titans
"So that's her titan" Mikasa hummed as she looked at Adina titan before following after eren, it wasn't too different from the female titan in terms of height and build,
it's distinctive features being the hardened helmet it wore on its head, it's eyes barely visible through the bar like protection and the chain mail that cover her nape and side of her neck, the titans rib cage petrified and wrapped around the sides of its waist offering it extra protection, it's dark and curled hair being a reflection of its user
The titan let out a exasperated, horsey groan as it's rub cage began to spread out, making a cage like shape across her body (yk Ymir the founders first transformation in sub? That's how it sounds)
"It's been a while.." the titan spoke, as it clenched and unclenched its fists
it's voice was a low pitch, horse and distorted, a sharp difference from its users. Before any of the soldiers could react, the titan jumped down the wall lifting up its hand and creating a hardened spear which it plunged into the wall, swinging ontop of its and jumping onto the grass
"Is that Adinas titan??" Hange said with sparkling eyes as they marbled at the creature
"Must be.." Armin said in a nervous tone as he looked at jean who's eyes never left Adinas titan as if he was hoping, praying she would hop out of it and say this was all a big misunderstanding, but that moment never came
Instead, her titan raised its armins as a huge sledge hammer appears in its hand which int used to swoop all the scouts off balance. "If it wanted to it could've killed us with that blow" Hange stated
"That means she's holding back, she doesn't want to kill us" Jean muttered "Exactly! This is all a sick joke! Adina wouldn't hurt us!" Sasha said before mikasa shushed them
"If you two are forgetting, she's no longer the Adina you or I know, she's the enemy, the same enemy that worked with the colossal titan to put humanities life at risk not once but twice. I know it's hard, but I suggest you put aside any positive feelings you had for her" Mikasa stated
The group watched as Reiner hurled eren in Adinas direction, the brunettes blind rage causing him to focus on the girl and attempt to hit her
"It should be easier for eren to take her down, she doesn't have as much hardened skin as Reiner" Armin stated as he watched eren charge at Adina only for her titan to shoot a huge sharp hardened material into his head before grabbing onto his hand and tripping him over
"I think you forgot Adinas talent" Sasha winced as they watched the attack, Adina grabbing erens head and smashing it into wall rose, the attack titan trying to hit her only to be kicked back in Reiners direction
"That's it" Mikasa spat as she attacked Adinas titan only for Adina to grab the dark haired girl, peering into her eyes and placing her in the floor, hardening her joints and noticing eren had managed to demobilise Reiner
But before she could help, four more scouts tried to slice her joints, Adina stepping on one, grabbing the others odm gear and smashing her into her other two comrades
"Keep her distracted! Erens gotten the upper hand!!" Hange yelled
"But.." Sasha muttered as she was interrupted by the sounds of a soldier, one of the MPs screaming as he tried to slice through Adina nape only for his sword to break
"She has titan hardening abilities!" Armin gasped as mikasa went to slice the back of Reiners knees whilst the rest watched as Adina yanked on another one of the MPs wire, smashing him into the ground where his blood stained the grass
"She killed them, actually people..." Jean muttered. "This probably isn't her first kill" Armin added as he watched her kick two other soldiers sending their bodies smashing into a nearby tree and stomping on one that had run out of gas, Reiners screams alerting her that he was in trouble
"Everyone be on guard! He's calling for backup!" Hange yelled
"But, Adi, I mean. Adina isn't running.." Sasha brought up before being sent to alert commander Erwin of their circumstances
"That's true." Jean noted, his eyes still glued on her even as she turned the MPs and some scouts into mush
"It's almost as if, she's trying to keep some distance" Armin muttered
"Above you!! Look out!" Connie's voice yelled, but it was too late, all the scouts could do was watch as the colossal titans boney head fell of the wall and in their direction
"Adina.." Jean coughed having been far enough from the blast to not be burnt or rendered unconscious, watching the girl as she emerged from the nape of her titan, she shook her hair out of her face in a way that looked almost angelic to jean despite her true nature being revealed, her lips were slightly parted, a habit of hers he'd noticed
He'd always heard the comments made to young girls about keeping their mouths closed, who it was unlady like to have it open, yet nothing about the way Adinas lips naturally parted seemed off putting to him since the moment he met her
Was it all an act, those displays of affection? Their time together? He didn't know, he didn't know if he'd ever know. Was the girl he'd fallen for just been a persona?
They made eye contact, although it was only a few seconds at most, it's seemed like an eternity for both of them neither being able to take their eyes off of eachother until bertholdt called out for her, Jean could only watch as she got out of her titan and took the odm gear he gave her
They were speaking, but he couldn't fully understand what they were saying, most words he knew, some he didn't
"Come on Adina" Bertholdt said in marleyan, the language wasn't too different from the language spoken on paradis but their were some noticeable differences
"I'm here. And do we really have to bring Ymir??" Adina sighed as she and bertholdt latched onto the flesh of the armoured titan
"You know we do"

"What the fuck happened?!" Ymir said, whenever the brunette woke up, she never jolted up like others did, she'd just lay there for a moment with her eyes open
"I still thought you were asleep" Adina said as the brunette finally sat up after hearing her friend's voice, being met with a hug
"Oh, I see!" She smiled giving Adina a look that meant "you kept your part of the deal"
"Yeah" Reiners gruff voice said
"So, would you care to explain?" She asked the blonde who was on a different branch
"We'll tell you once eren wakes up" Bertholdt sighed
"I'm hurt Adina, you've captured me" Ymir frowned "No you're not" Adina sighed
"Yeah your right" Ymir shrugged "your marleyan is pretty good, how'd you remember it?" Adina questioned as the two girls conversed
"Adina, stop talking to her like she's one of our allies" Reiner sighed. "Shut up Braun, we already know she's from Marley" Adina said turning back to Ymir
"I actually don't know how I remember it" Ymir shrugged whilst looking down at the multiple titans. "So, what? You're gonna take me back there?" Ymir asked.
"I guess, maybe if a miracle happens and marley doesn't strip you of your titan, we could get an apartment together" Adina shrugged
"Could even take historia" Ymir hummed "she wouldn't like it there" Adina snorted "yeah" Ymir sighed, Erens sudden movement snapping the two friends out of their sorrows
"You're awake. Welcome back." Reiner said to the brunette who stared it him with pure confusion yet burning hatred in his eyes, Adina moving the the branch bertholdt was on and lying on her back looking up at the sky whilst the group conversed
Bertholdts sudden movement caused her to sit upright as she turned to eren who was biting down on what was left of his arms, "oh, it's just eren" She sighed
"I'm gonna take a nap, wake me up when we leave" Adina stated as she sat back down on the tree, Ymir letting out a laugh
"Is she serious?.." Eren blinked
"Adina really?" Reiner questioned. "I wanna go home, you've kept me here long enough and I'm tired so wake me up when you have a decent plan on how to get home" Adina said to the blonde in marleyan
"Someone's not happy with you" Ymir smiled "Can't blame ya adi, look at his face, he looks like a cross between a baby goat and a boar" Ymir laughed
"What are you even saying??" Eren questioned frantically but Adina had already lay back down
"She actually went to sleep" Berthold noted making Ymir laugh even more
"Alves! You pass!!" Magaths voice bellowed as Adina successfully took down porco in a hand to hand combat match, it was 841 and the seven year old Adina ran home with pieck and Annie as they went to tell their parents about their recent accomplishments
"Mum!! I passed hand to hand combat! Out of one hundred of us there's only fifty left! And I made it!" Adina smiled as she showed off her yellow armband to her mother who was carrying her two year old sister
"Commander Magath said he knows I can kill even unarmed!!" She said still flailing her arm and around
Adina expect to see a smile on her mothers face but instead she was looked disturbed
"What is wrong with this child.." she muttered, making Adinas smile drop
It's your signature that's on the documents for me to learn all this. Not mine, so why are you so disgusted?
"That's great Adina" her mother said with a small, clearly fake smile as she placed a young Anaya down
"This is more than great!! We're getting closer to that honorary marleyan status, my daughter is finally making us proud!" Her fathers voice bellowed as he swept the girl up into his arms
"Soon! They'll be using you to take down nations!!" He cheered, the young girl smiling at her fathers rare display of affection
"Adi, please go help your brother in the kitchen" her mother said with a sweet smile as her father placed her down, Adina giving her a nod and running into the kitchen her toddler sister waddling after her
"They only sent you in here so they could argue" Micha stated as he peeled some potatoes, Anaya picking up a few radishes and attempting to stuff them in her mouth.
"I know, mum doesn't like dad taking about the program" Adina said as she pressed her ear against the door
"What's wrong with encouraging her??" Her fathers voice yelled
"Everything! You're encouraging her to kill!" Her mother shouted growing increasingly frustrated
"Well that's what she'd being trained to do" Her father said in a matter of fact way earning a frustrated sigh from her mother
"I can't keep on having this conversation, if you continue then she won't even be a warrior, she'll just be a murderer." Her mother sighed
"A physcotic mass murderer"
"Who snuffed out the lives of countless people that never did you any wrong!" Erens declaration bringing her back to reality
"Don't you think I'm aware of that fact?! I don't need you shoving it down my throat!!" Reiners voice bellowed, Adina still in a daze as she looked around
" Then stop acting like you've got any right to feel sorry for yourself! We're living in the hell are you three created!! Are you proud of yourselves?! you're not one of us you never were! You're not even human anymore!!" Eren shouted

Adina and Ymir just looked at eachother for a while as Reiner and eren went back and forth until Adina grew tired
"Historia probably hates me now, so does Sasha, and Connie, and mikasa, and armin" She thought as she listened to her comrades, eren and Ymir converse
"And jean?.. what does he think of me?"
"I wish my feelings were all lies, then this wouldn't hurt as much" Adina lamented as she stared at the palms. "My life's been super un-admirable" She mumbled as the sudden sound of a smoke signal being lit caught their attention
"They're already here?" Both Adina and bertholdt said at the same time
"They shouldn't be able to form ascouting formation without moving a lot of horses over the wall" Reiner noted
"I didn't think they'll be able to add so quickly. Dammit. Commander Erwin might be with them" Reiner said as he propelled himself in the air, landing on eren and Ymir's branch
"What the fuck.." Ymir said as the watched eren use his nubs to attack Reiner
"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!!!" He yelled until Reiner got him in a chokehold
"I'll kill you!! I'll fucking kill you!!" He screeched
"Ymir" Bertholdt said, Turing to the brunette "Just before you turned back into a human, do you have any idea who you ate?" Bertholdt asked
"No, I don't sorry, I'm guessing it was a friend of yours" She noted meeting berthold and Adinas eyes
"Hm..sorry I can't even recall it" She sighed, the free pausing to take a look at eren who was still trying to fight against Reiner
"There's nothing you can do if you don't remember, it was the same with us" berthold assured her
"I see"
"Eren doesn't seem to remember either, I guess that's just how it works" Adina hummed
"So do you two still hate me for it?" She asked
"You already know my answer to that" Adina stated.
"I don't think so, but I don't really know, I'm sure your didn't want to eat anyone either" Bertholdt said, "just how long were you wandering outside the walls?"
"Oh about sixty years, it was like, having a nightmare that wouldn't end"

"For now, let's just head somewhere with no titans" Reiner instructed holding an unconscious and tied up eren on his back whilst Ymir road with bertholdt
"My titan moves slow so if we're surrounded I won't be able to protect us, granted we still have Adinas titan but she hasn't used it in a while so it could be risky" the blonde continued
"Why didn't he wait for night??" Ymir questioned as she noticed the light green smoke "the survey corps are here" Adina noted
"That's means she.." Ymir half whispered "Reiner! It's Christa!" Ymir yelled
"Huh??"
"Christas come here with them!! Bows our chance to grab her!" Ymir yelled, Adina now understanding how they'd managed to get Ymir on their side
"You're full of shit! You can't see that far ahead!" Reiner yelled
"I know she's with them! That idiots too kind hearted for her own good! She's come here to save me!" Ymir yelled
"Even if that's true we can't go now! We'll have to get another chance!" Reiner yelled
"What??" Adina found herself saying along with Ymir
"We're clearly not going to succeed right now! How're you gonna grab Christa when she's inside that group?? Wait for our chance!!" Reiner repeated
"Wait for your chance?? When's that gonna be?? After one of your warrior friends eats me?! No! The only one I trust out of you three is Adina!" Ymir shouted
"Trust me!! I'm not lying when I say that we need Christa too!" Reiner yelled back
"Then do it now! Prove it to me right now!" Ymir yelled
"I need it to be now, I want to see her now, at this rate I'll never see her again!" Ymir practically begged
"We can't, sorry Ymir" Bertholdt stated "Right now, we don't even know if we can make it out safely ourselves" Bertholdt sighed
"I promise you! If there's just one person we free from this conflict it'll be Christa!" Reiner stated
"We'll save her I swear!" Reiner yelled, only to be met with an uneasy silence from Ymir, he could feel Adinas eyes on him too
"I'm the strongest one here in this terrain" She stated, grabbing onto bertholdts face and derailing him
"Ymir stop!" He shouted
"My titan may not be as strong as yours but I can move quickly through the trees. If I wanted I could steal eren from you and rendezvous with the scouts before you even know it!" Ymir continued
"If you don't take Christa with you right now, I'll make a nuisance of myself here." Ymir stated making Adina smile
"And what about Christa?? That's not helping her at all! I thought you actually cared about her?" Reiner shouted
"I do, in my own way." Ymir stated
"If it robs her of a future then life's a bitch, but I will see her again." Ymir declared
"You guys don't understand, she knows how much of a shitty person I am, yet she still smiles at me"

"Reiner!! Adina!! She's here!" Bertholdt stated as Ymir made her way back to them
"Yeah I can see" Adina sighed as she cut her hand alongside Reiner, the two jumping off the tree and transforming whilst bertholdt latched him and eren onto the armoured, Ymir clinging onto its back leaving Adina there as they ran
"Better work" Adina mumbled as she formed a giant machine gun, kneeling on the ground in her titan form as she took out some of the close ranged he titans and fired it at the hoards of scouts derailing them
"That's enough" She thought as she began running. "What is that thing?!" Sasha yelled
"And it's adi who's using it!" Connie said witha distraught face
"Well she's not Adi anymore, remember that" Jean said in a shaky voice as he wanted the girl leave her nape and join Reiner bertholdt and Ymir
"Adina!" Historia yelled as the girl jumped onto Ymir's shoulder
"Chri-no. Historia!" Adina smiled, happy to see her friend despite their circumstances, she expected her friend to hate her or just scream at her but whatever her and Ymir had talked about had calmed her down
"When you first transformed, I was confused, angry and scared for you, I wanted it to be a huge misunderstanding" Historia mumbled
"But, at the end of the day, titan shifter or not you're still my best friend and I'd like to believe our friendship was real, so let's start over in your home town" Historia smiled, making Adinas eyes water
"You, don't hate me?" She said as she tried to catch her breath. "Don't think I could even if I tried" Historia smiled
"we said if I ever had kids you'd be the godmother, I can't go back on that promise" the blonde brought up making Adina both giggle and sniffle
However, she was quickly reminded of the world she was born into as she watched Ymir throw a scout onto the ground, her eyes suddenly gushing out blood as she was slashed by mikasa to Adinas horror
"Reiner! Protect us!" Bertholdt yelled as Reiner incased him, Adina and eren in his hands leaving a raging mikasa outside to stare at them through the cracks
"Will he stop kicking?!" Adina grunted as eren kept on flailing around in their tight space. "Don't worry, you'll be home soon, and this will all be a distant memory" Adina kept trying to tell herself, yet the voices of her former friends were making it quite difficult
"You know you're asking for too much there Adina!" Jeans voice said making Adina freeze "You know it's impossible to calm him down right? He loud and hopeless, trust me, I know! I hate that about him too!" He said with a dry chuckle
"Just talk to me" He half pleaded
"We can deal with him together, C'mon. Show yourself." Jean assured her
"Oh my days" She groaned not wanting to feel more horrible than she already did
"Give him back! Right now!" Mikasa yelled
"Guy's really? This is some kind of joke right? No way this is you? You've been lying to us this whole time?" Connie managed to get out although he sounded like he was about to start crying
"we were supposed to be comrades!"
"They still are! This is all just a misunderstanding!" Sasha chimed in
"Where do you think you're going? You can't keep running forever" Armin questioned
"Through thick and thin, we slept under the same roof as soldiers for three years." Jean began,
"Matter of fact, the positions you could sleep in Bertholdt were a work of art." He said with a dry chuckle
"How'd you do it, Bertholdt? Must not've had a care in the world. Lying besides your victims yet you slept like a log."
"Was it all just an act to you?" Connie said with a quivering voice making Adina tear up
"Tell me! What we're you thinking all this time?!" Connie begged
"None of that matters, just focus on taking their heads off." Mikasa instructed. "If you hesitate for even one moment we'll never get eren back"
"Who cares what they pretended to be?"
"This was their choice"
"No! You're wrong!" Bertholdt screamed making everyone go quiet
"who chooses to be this? Tell me!? What do you think I am? Huh? What?"
"You think this is what we aspire to be!? People loathe us. And why wouldn't they? We're monsters" the boy continued in a grave tone.
"We deserve to die for the things we've done. We're lost, we could live a thousand years and never again know peace.. try to imagine that darkness." Bertholdt continued
"The only light was out brief time as soldiers. It was never a lie! Do you understand? We're not who we said we were but it wasn't an act! We genuinely thought of you as our friends!" Adina shouted hearing a sigh from whom she assumed to be jean, Connie and Sasha
"I'm not stupid. I know I have no right to ask for forgiveness but please. I beg of you, if we were Comrades, someone find us." Adina pleaded, her teary eyes meeting jeans which peeked through the gaps of Reiner titan
The world seemed to go silent despite the chaos around them as each of the former cadets let Adina and bertholdts words sink in until mikasa broke the silence
"Give him back. I won't ask again." Mikasa said.
"I'm sorry, we can't." Bertholdt replied
"One of you has to do it. One of you has to stain your hands with my blood!" Bertholdt concluded.
"Jump damn you! Get the hell out of there!" A older man's voice yelled as the group were forced to lever their former allies and switch to horse back

"That's a lot of titans" Adina though as she found herself face to face with atleast three whilst Reiner tried to worm his way of their heals, Ymir and historia handing on by a thred
"You'll be okay on your own right bertholdt?" Adina asked as the boy gave her a hesitant nod, Adina once more, for the third time that day, transforming into her titan
Although it's stamina was better than most shifter other than the cart, Adina was still worn out as she grabbed onto one titans head and ripped it off its body, it's spinal cord contorting into a jagged and spi led sword which she used to decapitate the others, giving Reiner more space to move
As Adina continued her assault on their multiple different pure titans, she noticed armin had landed on Reiner, giving berthold a sinister smile
"Are you really gonna leave Annie behind?" The blonde questioned. "Right now, Annie's deep underground in the utopia districts far in the north"
"Where their torturing her"
"You're full of shit" Adinas titan spoke, startling the blonde. "Oh you think so Adina? Why don't you go ask her? But you probably won't be able to get much out of her other than scrams and cry's from death" Armin smiled
If Adina didn't already know Annie's last resort, armin would've had a chance to fool her but he was too unfortunate
Unfortunately for the warriors, berthold fell for it, giving commander Erwin the perfect oportunity to fight whisky adina defended against a fifteen meter titan
"This is hopeless" Adina groaned as she watched Reiner throw titans carelessly, two being throwing in the same direction of Ymir and historia, the blonde taking out one whikst Adina beheded the other
"Adina!" Historia smiled as she watched the darker skinned friends repeated stomp on the head of one of the titans, eventually emerging from the nape
"Historia" She smiled
"I'm here too" Ymir's titan said
"Jeez yours sounds worse than mine" Adina sighed
"Is she on our side??" Jean said in a hopeful tone. "No, she's only helping Christa and Ymir not us" Armin reassured the boy, as a huge titan came crashing down on them knocking jean out
"Jean.." Adina mumbled wanting more than anything to swoop him up and make sure he was okay, but the titan approaching, her four friends that were fighting to get back to Marley and her new found status of a traitor prevented her
"Here adi!!" Historia yelled as she watched Adinas titan grab onto the mindless man eaters hair and rip its head off, throwing it into the ground
"Good job!" Historia grinned as she landed on Ymir's shoulder, Adinas titan giving her a thumbs up before everyone in the area came to a hault, an electric like feeling flowing through all of them as Adina recognised the cause to be no one other than eren
"Him? Of all people??" She mentally panicked as she watched him send a hoard of titans at one specific one
"What the.." Historia began as another surge of electricity pumped through their veins, the titans now turning in a helpless Reiner and bertholdt
"Reiner! Bertholdt!!" Adina yelled as she looked back at historia and Ymir then at her comrades
"Sorry Hisu, you know I couldn't have come back to the walls with you two anyways, please, live a fulfilling life" Adina said with a smile as she went back into her titans nape running after Reiner and bertholdt
"Adina!" Bertholdt said with a relived sigh he watched Adina pull a titan out of the way. "I thought you'd somehow bailed on us" he said with a shaky voice
"I may not fully trust Marley, but I have great trust in my comrades whom I've grown up with for the past eleven years" Adina declared, making bertholdt slightly tear up
"That you" He sniffled as to their surprise, Ymir joined them

The three warriors and Ymir sat ontop of the desolate wall Maria trying to catch their breath as they prepared to face Marley
"Ymir why the fuck did you come you idiot!" Adina said in a strained voice "you could've live the rest of your years with historia! Now she's alone!" She groaned
"And what was I supposed to do? Let you go empty handed and get stripped of your titian?" Ymir retorted
"We would've figured it out! You know they won't let you live!" Adina stated
"It's not too late to tune back now Ymir" Bertholdt also added
"Nah, it's fine, think of it like this." Ymir sighed "if you four hadn't come to wreck the walls who knows when my hellish nightmare would've ended? All im doing is repaying the debt" Ymir sighed
"Don't cry adi, you'll make me sad" She frowned "thank you Ymir, I'm so sorry" She mumbled
"It's fine" Ymir sighed, a single tear trickling down her cheek.
