Sadness and Revenge
Alina's POV...
I hate this gloomy weather. It's been pouring for a week. But even then it is very strange and beautiful how nature takes different forms in different seasons.
I was in my thoughts when Winston called me from behind. I asked him what happened. He replied to me that the Tiger King had called him to discuss something. So he asked me if I would be okay alone as Dylan went hunting.
Don't worry. I will be alright. You just can go and come back soon, I told him while giving him a peck on his nose. In response, he kissed my lips.

(Alina thought, It's quite late now why isn't Winston back? I have a bad feeling I hope that the sneaky Tiger King hasn't done anything to my husband. I need to concentrate so that I can feel his presence. )
She closed her eyes to find his exact location and then found him. Alina saw that Winston was in pain. His breathing is very weak...It looks like someone has poisoned him.

Dylan was surprised and asked, "Alina!?"
Alina replied Yes, Dylan, Winston is poisoned, I am going to save him, you just directly come home. I will be back with Winston.

Then Alina created an invisible barrier around herself and teleported herself to the tiger castle. She found out that Winston's condition was critical. So she first healed him and then teleported him back home. He is currently sleeping.
Dylan was also back with his prey. He asked, Alina are you okay? Then he saw Alina crying. Dylan panicked and asked if Winston was okay. He embraced her and tried to comfort her.
She hugged him tightly and replied yes he is okay but he was in so much pain when I found him. He almost died. It's my fault I was not cautious enough. Think if I didn't have the healing power I might have lost Winston by now.
Dylan's POV...
(Dylan thought, "This is the first time I have seen Alina crying, it's heartbreaking. Also, this is the first time I feel so pathetic.)
I hugged her tightly and assured her that I would take revenge on them. Also, Winston is not weak he will be fine.
But Alina held my hand and told me, no, I will take revenge on them. There was anger and disgust in her eyes.
I just nodded my head.

I don't think Tiger King is the mastermind behind this. Because he is also a pawn of the Ape King. But why did the Ape King try to kill Winston?
(If I remember correctly he tried to eliminate Winston when his mate Qin wanted to chase Winston. But this should not be the case because Winston already has me. Then why?

Alina was lost in thought then Dylan exclaimed could it be the Ape King?
Alina replied I guess so. But Dylan were you okay when you were hunting?
There was no prey nearby so I went a little far from the beast city.

Dylan replied maybe they were trying to harm you when you were alone.
Suddenly, Alina felt something unusual nearby. She looked at Dylan and he was also looking at her.
Then she said, looks like the surprise has arrived but alas now I will break the surprise on them.
Then she asked Dylan to spy on something and put invisible magic on him so that no one could detect him. He was worried about leaving me alone but I assured him no one would be able to harm me. He went without anyone's knowledge.

The Ape king's pov...
The hawk beastman just reported his work. They finally arrived. it's time to say goodbye to Alina. It's a good thing that I made both of her mates away.
I think the Tiger King has already done what I told him to. As for Shuu, I have already assigned him to a new job, he will be too busy to look for Alina. Now no one can stop them because I have already cleared their path.
Suddenly someone rushed towards me. I asked what happened.
He replied while huffing... T..that Winston is missing. We tried to find him but there was no trace of him
I shouted, What!!
I angrily asked where the Tiger King was. Tell him to meet me. And find Winston at any cost. We cannot lose him.

We have been following the Hawk beastman who told us Qin's location. We have been following him for two days. Still, it's a good thing because the river that runs through the Beast City is connected to the sea. And we have already arrived at the place where Qin is currently staying.
He suddenly stopped flying and signalled to our king that we had arrived. Then he showed us a stone house very close to the river and said this is your female's house where she lives with her mates. He then flew away.
Mer King's POV...
Finally, I can meet Qin. But still, we need to be careful with these land beastmen. They are not trustworthy. We need to get this done quickly. I ordered my companions who came with me to take our humanoid form. It feels a little weird to walk. It's fine as long as we can find Qin without any harm.
We finally arrived in front of the stone house. But before we knocked on the door.....

Alina smirked and answered Hi!
I am Alina. Then she used her nature manipulation magic and knocked them out.
Sigh, that was easy. Hmmm.. They are quite handsome but alas personality is garbage.
