She was getting tried from the running but she didn't stop she carried on. Running was the only way to clear her head. Jess didn't sleep much last night she couldn't she didn't know why.
Jess found out the day she moved there was a beach right outside her house meaning she could go for walks at night.
She realized that she had spent a lot of time outside and she needs to get tready for work.
(At work)
Not much happened in the briefing room other Sargent grey saying that she has to right along with Lucy and tim. She realized it was gonna be awkward between the to.
She sat in the back of Lucy's and Tim's shop and sat their in silent.
(Few minutes later)
Tim pulled into a parking lot of a convenience store. Lucy and Jess looked at him confused as to why they were there.
Tim got out of the shop and lucy followed "I've decided on your punishment" Tim says Jess decided that I would be best to stay in the shop
"I'm assuming you're not going to tell me" lucy says. Tim nods "More of a show you kind of guy" he says calling over a man who was doing shady business "Ghost Head. No, no, hold up a minute." He calls watching him turn his back.
"Yo this is harassment" he rolls his eyes as he eyes lucy.
Tim shakes his head "What? No, it's just good customer service. Kind of like a frequent flyer program for dirt-bag drug dealers. Search him, Boot" he orders lucy.
"Turn around grab the wall" luch says as she reaches out to grab his shoulders.
"Make me boot" he says with a smirk. Lucy rolls her eyes and shoves Ghost-head into the wall. He turns around quickly and throws a punch at lucy as she misses it. Lucy stands her ground as she knees him in the balls, and shoves him face first into the wall.
"You're under arrest" she tells him taking out her handcuffs. She looks at Tim "This was my punishment?" She asks.
"Yep. Plus I got to see if you could handle yourself, so it's really a two-fer." He tells her. Lucy grabs Ghosthead by the shoulder leading him to the shop.
A woman comes out of the store to confront the two officers. Tim looks taken back as he recognizes the woman in front of him. The woman had clearly been high on drugs as she had shown all the implications.
"Isabel?" Tim asks as his voice was soft from being in shock.
"Let him go" she tells lucy. Lucy looks back at the two confused on how they know each other. She than looks inside the car to see that Jess looked almost as shocked as Tim.
Tim steps closer as Isabel takes a step back "it's me, It's Tim. It's okay. I've been trying to find you just- just to make sure you were okay. Are you okay?" he tells her putting his hand on her shoulder.
Lucy put the two and two together and it seemed like it was a girlfriend or wife.
"You want to help me give me all of your cash" she tells him. Tim stutters for a moment before pulling out his wallet and handing Isabel some money before she runs away.
"Let him go" Tim motions to lucy. She looks up at him with an uncomfortable expression as she couldn't believe she had to do all this for the guy to be let go.
She sighs and releases Ghost Face as he takes off down the road.
"Who was that?" She asks she watches as Tim's eyes met her face. He sighed getting into the shop "My ex wife"
"I won't tell anyone what happened" Lucy says nervously
"You better damn not" tim says in his Usual tone.
Jess didn't say much she just sat in the back stunned she hasn't seen isabel in a long time she knew the problems isabel was having cause her brother told her over the phone when it was happening
(Lunch)
The rookies all sat at the table eating the street food
"Do you guys wanna go to the bar tonight first rounds one me" Jackson say
"Yes I need a drink In my body after all this" Jess says while eating her food
"I'll definitely come if your paying for the first round and than maybe we could hit it of to the karaoke machine " Lucy says with excitement in her tone
"I will have a drink but I won't be singing if I sand you would definitely hear cat cry" Nolan says
The rookies carry on with the rest of their shift
(Outfit and everything at top)
Jess arrived at the bar she enter and saw 3 familiar faces all sitting down at a table
"The party has arrived" Jess says while walking up to the three. She saw that John looked her up and down after that they made eye contact she winks at him and he turns away.
"Well don't you look gorgeous" Lucy says while pulling a chair from another table to their table so Jess could sit down.
"U saying I don't look gorgeous everyday" Jess said while laughing
"No no" Lucy said while laughing
"Anyway Jess how are you" Jackson says
"Im alright are you all ok cause before I arrived I swear I could sence some tension what up with you all" Jess says
"Me and Jackson are alright it's our buddy John over her" Lucy says
"Oh I heard About what happened don't beat yourself up John it wasn't your fault you couldn't of known and if it makes u feel any better I saw my first dead body when I was 8" she says while receiving weird looks from everyone
"I don't think that is normal" John says
"Well my dad made me look at a dead body when I was little" Jackson says
"I think I'm the only one who hasn't seen a dead body or hasn't got any parent problems" Lucy said
"Says the one who go out in therapy when they were little by their parents" Jackson says while laughing and taking a drink out of his glass
"Up next we Lucy Chen and Jackson west" the DJ says while they both put their drinks down and run up to the stage laughing
"So they actually are doing karaoke than" Jess says while watching the pair
"Yeah Lucy tried to make me do it but than Jackson said he would do it cause Lucy kept asking him" John says
They both look into each other eyes
"How about you officer Nolan come back to my house after this" Jess says while flirting with John.
This wasn't Evan drunk Jess this was Jess just being Jess
"Your not drunk are you I can't tell you ain't but yeah after this well both go back to yours than" John says while smiling
(They told Lucy and Jackson they were both going home)
As soon as they got into Jessica's house there was clothes thrown everywhere
