A WEEK LATER, ELENA was finally back in madrid to shoot the 'big boy' music video. the music video for 'the one that got away' had already been shot. she asked jules leblanc, a close friend of hers since childhood, to star as her love interest for the video, and they also hired two child actors who looked identical to them to play them as children. the song was about elena's first ever romantic situationship with a girl from her childhood, and she just hoped that no one would criticise the video. it was her backstory after all.
elena was currently sat in the car, chatting away to her driver as they headed to real madrid's training ground, off to pick up jude. they both only had the rest of the afternoon to film and finish the music video due to the fact that cardi b had a very strict schedule and could only make it for today.
"are you excited?" her driver, cillian, asked her as they pulled up outside. elena let out a breath and nodded her head, smiling at him.
"i'm gonna go get him, wait here!" she said with a glint in her eyes, nearly jumping out the car and shutting the door behind her as cillian laughed.
elena ran over to the outside training area, noticing many other people stood there who looked like the players families and girlfriends. she smiled at them once a few glanced her way, not noticing how most of them widened their eyes at the sight of her. she awkwardly stood off to the side; elena didn't really know that much spanish and probably wouldn't be able to communicate with everyone as much as she would've liked to.
jude was just collecting all his things together now that their open practice was over - he took a sip of his water for him to only then spit it out as he felt someone smack him on his back.
"jesus! what the fuck?" he coughed.
"sorry jude," vini jr apologised, his accent heavy as he threw his hands up in forgiveness. tchouameni and camavinga walked over with identical teasing smiles on their faces, seeming to have noticed the same thing as vini.
"what?" jude asked when he saw their matching grins, looking around to make sure they weren't pulling another prank on him.
"want to introduce us to your friend?" camavinga questioned, pointing over at elena.
jude snapped his head over; his face brightened at the sight of the girl. he watched her as she clicked away on her phone before looking up, making eye contact with him and sending him a bright smile. jude smiled back and sent her a wave, choosing to ignore his teammates once they all started to wolf whistle and push him towards her.
"she's very beautiful," tchouameni nodded as they walked over, earning a quick glare from jude. vini and camavinga widened their eyes and hit him on his shoulder for his comment.
"hey pretty," jude greeted as soon as they reached elena, pulling her in for a short hug and placing a kiss on her temple.
"hey," elena replied, wrapping her arm around his torso and smiling at his teammates. "i'm elena, it's lovely to meet you all!"
"can we keep her?" vini immediately asked, turning to jude as the other two nodded their heads behind him. jude rolled his eyes at their childish behaviour and shook his head.
"no, she's mine."
"share?" tchouameni offered with a grin, earning himself another smack from vini and camavinga.
"okay, we're going now," jude stated, grabbing her hand and starting to pull elena away from them as she laughed at his jealous antics.
"hope to see you all again soon!" elena shouted out to the boys, blowing them all a kiss as the three of them pretended to catch it.
"wont be happening!" jude finalised their convo, throwing his arm around elena's shoulders and pulling her in close as they walked to the car.
"you excited?" elena grinned, thanking jude as he held the door open for her. he got in on the other side and, because there was no middle seat put in between them, they were pressed right up against each other.
"obviously," he smiled, saying hey to cillian as the driver replied back before driving off; closing the window that separates the front and back seats to give the young adults more privacy.
"i was in a meeting with felicity yesterday, and she said they're thinking of making you anonymous in the video," elena explained, turning to look at him and smiling as she felt his hand rest on her thigh.
"oh really? how come?"
"said it would get more views if your full face isn't directly shown - something about the secret will make people talk about it more," she explained, causing him to nod. "i think they said the most they'll show of you is like a quarter of your side profile, but that's it."
"no, i love that idea," jude said. "think the thrill of being kept a secret does things to me."
"what type of things, mr bellingham?"
"you'll soon find out, mrs bellingham."
elena bit her tongue and snapped her head away from him, failing to hide her smile. jude grinned, kissing the back of her hand and pulling out his phone as he started to show her random funny videos he had saved from tiktok.
she glanced up to him and back to the phone every now and then, only one thought spiralling through her head: she could get used to this.

"WASSUP EL!" CARDI B yelled as soon as the nineteen year old walked on set after being in hair and makeup for the past half an hour. she smiled and held up her hand for elena to high-five, which she did. "where's lover boy?"
"he's not my lover boy," elena rolled her eyes, the nickname reminding her of how all of her friends referred to jude. "and he's talking to felicity now, think she's giving him some instructions."
"good luck to him," cardi joked, causing elena to laugh lightly.
"elena!" the director, called craig, smiled. he had directed her previous music videos for 'style' and 'love the way you lie'. she knew he was extremely good at his work, mainly because those two songs are her most viewed music videos. she could only hope to top that today.
"lovely to see you again!" elena grinned, hugging him, as well as some others on the team, back.
"we've already got everything planned," craig said, causing her to nod. "we're wanting to start off with you and cardi together, and then with cardi on her own so we can perfect it as this is the only time she can film. then we'll get shots of you on your own, along with some of the backup dancers and some other boys, before we'll end with you and jude."
"perfect," elena clapped her hands.
they had hired some other tall and built men just to be in the background of the video, all wearing coats, hats, and scarfs to emphasis the cuffin season point. apparently during cardi's verse she's going to be sat on a mountain of boys which elena couldn't wait to watch.
"she's so cool," jude whispered in elena's ear as they stood off to the side behind the cameras, watching cardi sat around a table of men and lip singing her rap which played on the speakers.
"outdoing me in my own video," elena joked, and jude couldn't help but quietly chuckle.
"elena, can we get you sat at the table as well and sing your verse please?"
elena nodded and swapped placed with cardi who went over to stand with jude. she sat down at the head of the table and waited for the man to shout action. and as soon as craig did, she winked at the camera before lip singing the opening verse to the song.
the video was about elena singing to find the right big boy for her — in all of the verses she would be surrounded by other men before only being with jude in the chorus. she liked the idea, and found herself smiling through the lyrics as all the boys started to give her gifts and show off all of their bodies as she lip sung the entire verse.
but jude didn't enjoy it at all and he rolled his eyes when one boy grabbed elena's hand and made her touch his abs. all with consent, of course. because they were told what to do before they started the filming, jude just wasn't listening.
"and cut!"
"jealous?" cardi smirked at jude, causing him to go quiet as he shook his head at her and walked up to elena - hearing cardi laugh loudly behind him.
jude held out his hand and helped elena up from the chair, making sure all the boys in the room saw what he was doing. he knew they were only actors and it was for a video, but he also knew they were enjoying this way more than they should - especially because he could hear them all calling elena fit in the changing rooms earlier.
"it looks really good," jude complimented, earning a smile for elena as she squished his cheeks together and giggled at him.
"you're so cute!" she said, giving his cheek one last pinch before walking off and going over to film the next scene.
jude watched her walk away from him with a dazed look in his eyes.
"simp," some random extra who jude didn't know the name of coughed from behind him, snickering alongside some of the other boys who would be in the video.
"does she even know your names?" jude retorted, shutting them all up as he sent them a fake smile and wandered off to go and find elena.

IT WAS FINALLY TIME for elena and jude to film their scenes together. cardi was done for the day, and sat back in her chair to watch the two adults. they walked onto set, which consisted of a purple backdrop in front of an LED light. a black chair was placed in the middle of the set, and jude was instructed to sit down on it.
"you wont see his face at all because the lights are only reflecting on his body," felicity stated as she showed elena what the scene would look like with the camera. "just lip sing your verse, do whatever you want. you know the drill."
"okay," elena nodded, patting jude on his shoulder and giving him a quick kiss on the back of his head. "you'll be fine, just follow my lead."
everyone on set then went quiet as the song started playing, the cameras rolling. elena was wearing a skimpy bralette and a skirt that probably shouldn't even be considered a skirt due to how short it was. she had a flower in her hair but jude was quick to take it out before the scene started, it being held in his hands as she slowly walked towards him. jude was only wearing a pair of cargo joggers, his torso left shirtless as they sprayed some oils on him to make his abs stand out more.
elena sung the lyrics to the chorus, trailing her arms across jude's shoulders as she walked behind him. he threw his head back and closed his eyes, only to open them as she setted herself down on his lap. she sung the lyrics as he raised his hand with the flower in, pushing some hair from out of her face and placing the flower behind her ear.
elena grinned at him through the lyrics, turning in his lap so that her back was now against his chest. throwing her head back against his shoulder, she closed her eyes as droplets of fake rain started to pour over them.
the rain dribbled down her body and jude ran his hands up and down her stomach, playing with the straps of her bralette before dropping all the way down and starting to play around with her skirt.
she turned around in his lap one last time, setting her legs on either side of his thighs as she slowly rocked whilst singing the lyrics. rain fell between them both as she grabbed his face and pulled it in close to hers, their lips being separated only by the water. she could feel the camera zooming in on them, and threw her head back as jude instantly understood what she was doing and started to place delicate kisses along her neck.
"crazy to think they haven't even kissed yet," cardi whispered towards craig and felicity, who widened their eyes and looked at her in shock. "i know!"
elena sung the last bit of the second chorus before giggling as jude tickled her side and pulled her in closer towards him, the both of them falling out of the camera frame.
"and cut!"
"that last part was so cute," cardi stated as she ran over towards them. elena stood up from the chair, feeling jude wrap his hand around her waist as he remained seated. "i think they're gonna keep your little giggles in. it looks so good!"
"thanks," elena winked at her, looking over at jude and realising his eyes hadn't left her once. she sent him a smile and grabbed his hand, pulling him up from the chair as they followed all the directors to where they would be filming next.
"you don't know how much i wanna kiss you right now," jude mumbled, his lips ghosting against her ear as elena swallowed thickly, feeling his breath tickle down her neck.
"you best get your act together then soon, golden boy, you can't be waiting for the right moment forever," she teased him.
"golden boy?" he frowned.
"i saw loads of people calling you it on tiktok and now it's kind of stuck, deal with it," she shrugged, sending him a wicked grin.
oh, he definitely would.

THEY HAD FINALLY SHOT the final scene which just consisted of jude pushing elena up against a wall as she sung to him. she was sad that shooting had come to an end, considering she loved filming music videos, however elena just couldn't wait to release this now.
she said goodbye to everyone on set and packed up her things together, walking out with jude hand in hand. it was nearing midnight, and they agreed on spending the night at her hotel room after she had practically begged him to finish off the beckham documentary with her.
it was around about two hours later when the two had finally settled down. they were currently sat in her bed throwing malteesers at each other; seeing who could catch one in their mouths first, when elena's phone suddenly went off.
she picked it up and looked down at the message, her eyes widening. "oh shit! i forgot to tell you!"
jude frowned. "tell me what?"
"just read these," she said, handing him her phone that was on the conversation from the other week when lando had asked to meet up. she watched as jude read through the messages, his jaw clenched until he was done. "are you mad?"
"not at you," he shook his head, handing her back her phone. "i know you only want to meet up with him as friends. i don't trust him though. he clearly likes you."
"do you not want me to go?" she asked quietly.
"lena, do whatever you want," he laughed. "if you ever - and i mean ever - let me tell you what to do, please smack the shit outa me. i don't control you, and i wont. if you want to meet up with lando then that's completely fine, but expect him to gain a few bruises if he dares to try anything with you."
"jude!" elena gasped, slapping him on the chest.
"i'm not joking!" jude argued. "if he tries anything with you that you're uncomfortable with call me. i wont hesitate to catch the next flight to london and show him who he's fucking with."
"thank you," elena smiled at him, laying her head against his chest as he stroked his fingers through her hair.
"anytime, love," he smiled, kissing the top of her head. "you free on the 30th?"
"i think so, why?"
"wear a cute dress, i'm taking you out."
