It had been days since Sofia posted her viral photo and she was quite bothered thanks to two men in particular.
Yeah sure, other guys have been trying to catch her attention since her breakup but they weren't so public with their intentions, unlike LA Knight...
She bumped into him a few times when they were both at NXT, he was quite the charmer, attractive and is Sofia's type.
But she doesn't want to be in a relationship with another man close to her dad's age.
And don't even get her started on Henry liking her recent photo as if nothing happened to them.
As if he never cheated on her and went public with the same girl a few weeks after he broke up with her.
Today, Sofia decided to focus and workout at the hotel's gym before going to tonight's arena for Smackdown. She wore lilac gym shorts and a matching sports bra, with white sneakers and her hair was neatly tied into a ponytail.
She wanted to forget all about Henry all over again. And forget about LA's dumb comment.
As soon as she got into the gym, she did her usual workout for about an hour and a half, one of her friends Briana arrived at the gym just as she was wrapping up her workout
"If it isn't my favourite Barbie..." Briana pipes up and approaches Sofia with a hug
"Don't let Tiffy hear you say that." Sofia giggled and hugged her back once she was off the weights machine
"How are you?" Briana wondered as they both pulled away
"Doing okay, I actually have a meeting with Pearce and my dad later on before the show." She smiled softly
"Oooh! I snooped last week and heard that your dad's working with new talents and going to elevate them." Briana says excitedly "Maybe you're one of them!" She squealed
Sofia laughed at her friend's optimism "You don't think I'm a wrestling nepo baby?"
"Bitch, you deserve to be here as much as other girls do, you earned your achievements without using your dad's name. Any bitch who thinks otherwise is just jealous and bitter." She scoffed
She smiled softly at one of her best friends "I love you Bri, see you later!" She kissed her cheek before getting her water bottle and leaves the gym.
"I need a hot shower after this." Sofia mumbles to herself, not noticing a tall man walking the opposite way and bumping into his chest
"Woah there sweetheart, where's the rush?" LA Knight smiled charmingly at her.
For his part LA was interested in Sofia the moment their paths crossed in NXT but when he tried to make a move and approach her, she avoided him completely. Though he paid no mind to it as he was soon called up to the main roster last year.
But now they're both in the main roster so he can finally ask her out.
And Sofia being the daughter of one of the most legendary wrestlers in WWE doesn't deter him from asking her on a date.
Now standing before him, Sofia was sweaty but her skin glowed beautifully and not wearing makeup added to his attraction towards her.
Sofia's face turned into a soft frown "Sorry, I have places to be." She tries to pass through but the older man won't let her through
"I was going to go to the gym too but now that you're here, maybe we can have lunch after my workout." He offered confidently
"Look, I'm telling you in person that what I said in my comments are true. I'm not interested in you or any guy for that matter." She scoffed, avoiding to stare for too long.
He towers her 5'3" frame at 6'1". He was wearing gym shorts that shows off his thick thighs and a muscle tank top that showed off his arms too.
Sofia wonders how would he feel if she rode his thigh- wait what?!
"Then why are you staring at me like that sweetheart?" LA smirked cockily
"I wasn't staring. There's nothing worthy of being looked at apparently." She challenged
"Oh Sofia, you won't be just staring when you're with me." He lifts up her chin for her to look at him, getting hypnotized by his deep blue eyes.
The same shade of Henry's eyes.
Sofia broke out of her trance, pushing him away "Stay away from me." She hissed, making her way around him and left quickly, heading to her shower
And she's in need of a cold one. ASAP.
Sofia knocks confidently on the open door of Pearce's office, the bald man was talking to her father a few minutes before Smackdown starts.
"You both want to see me Mr. Pearce? Dad?" She wondered as she appeared wearing her gear as she is going to face a local competitor tonight
"Hey bambi." Her dad smiled and pulled her in for a hug, she happily hugs back and pulled away
"Just the girl we want to see. How are you Sofia?" Adam asked
"Good, all warmed up for my match tonight." She smiled excitedly
"About that Sofia... Your match got changed last minute." Adam sighed "Someone needs a partner to take on Scarlett and Karrion Kross tonight."
"Oh, alright. But what's that got to do with my dad?" She wonders
"I'm teaming up with your partner to face The Bloodline at Fastlane which is in a few months from now." John looked at his daughter "You'll be his manager and on screen love interest." He adds
"And you're okay with this?" She glanced between her father and Pearce.
He nodded "You're a grown woman, and it's only on screen bambi. I used to be on a few on-screen relationships too."
"Besides, you and your partner are the fast rising stars on Smackdown and on social media says that you both should've won Money in The Bank." Pearce pointed out.
Sofia's heart quickens as she knows who she was working with on that fact alone.
"I hope I'm not late." The familiar voice spoke. He was wearing a red vest and trunks, matching with his new partner/manager.
"Fuck. Why is he so attractive?!" Sofia screamed in her head but she kept her composure as they were introduced to one another.
"It's a pleasure to work with the beautiful Sofia Iris for now." LA smiled charmingly and kissed her knuckles, all gentleman-like.
"Likewise." She faked a smile, becoming conflicted in her new role.
On the one hand, she'll finally work with her father which she was completely excited about. But she's dreading to be the fake girlfriend of the man who shockingly made her think of unholy things again after two years.
She wanted to be as far away from him as possible until one of them went to Raw at the Draft but now... Avoiding LA Knight would be harder than she thought
