SAME DAY:
[Jeonghan rushed out of the house and started to drive towards his office when a tear fell from his eyes.]
Jeonghan:
It doesn't matter if he remembers her or not. They still love each other.
[A faint smile appeared on Jeonghan's lips, and soon he arrived at his office.]
Jeonghan:
If their happiness is in each other, then I'm happy for them.
[Jeonghan was walking inside the elevator when he heard some shouting.]
?:
Wait, don't close the doors!
[A boy whose face hides behind the piles of files that he holds in his tiny hands runs towards Jeonghan.]
?:
Huff...... huff.... Tha....huff.... Thank you so much for waiting for me.
Jeonghan:
Let me help you.
[Jeonghan smiled and held half of the files from the boy.]
?:
Thank you. My name is Jisoo. Hong Jisoo. Everyone calls me Joshua.
[The boy smiles, and his eyes turn into a crescent moon's shape.]
Jeonghan:
I'm Yoon Jeonghan. It's nice to meet you.
Joshua:
I'm new here. Today is my first day here.
Jeonghan:
Oh! Welcome to the company. In which department are you?
Joshua:
Sales department. I'm going to be the assistant to someone named Mr. Yoon.
Jeonghan:
A-ah okay!
[Jeonghan showed his angelic smile, and Joshua just melted with a wide smile on his face.]
Jeonghan:
Nervous?
Joshua:
A little bit, I mean the person can be rude and older with a bossy personality. Who knows what I have to go through under his guidance?
[Jeonghan just chuckled and shook his head.]
Jeonghan:
Or maybe he's a good, friendly person in his 20s?
[Joshua just laughs and shrugs his shoulders.]
Joshua:
Who knows? I just think that such a position is not so easy to get for younger people.
Jeonghan:
Maybe you are right. You have to find out yourself.
[Joshua just nodded and looked at Jeonghan, admiring his smile, when the elevator's doors opened.]
Jeonghan:
Your floor Joshua. Joshua?
Joshua:
Oh? Y-yeah my floor. Right uhm so I see you again sometimes.
[Jeonghan smile and nod.]
Jeonghan:
Soon!
[Joshua smiles and turns towards the office.]
Joshua:
Office life isn't going to be that boring after all.
[Joshua started to walk with a grin on his face when someone hit the back of his head.]

Quite energetic for your first day of work, Shorty?
Joshua:
Y-yah hyung why do you call me that?
[Joshua yelled in annoyance at the elder.]
?:
Aish! This brat doesn't talk to me like that; I'm your elder brother.
Joshua:
Step brother ... you're my step brother.
?:
Yah-h!
Joshua:
What? There's a big difference between Lee Seokmin and Hong Jisoo.
Seokmin:
Whatever I told you so many times, call me Dokyeom. Here, let me hold half of this.
[Dokyeom is Joshua's stepbrother as well as his cousin from his mother's side. Joshua's father married his aunt after his mother's death. His aunt loves Joshua as much as she loves her own children. She was a single mother, and it was Joshua who wanted his aunt to be his mother. Joshua and Dokyeom were just kids back then, so they apparently grew up together. Step brother is just a word to describe their relationship, but they're like biological brothers to each other.]
Dokyeom:
So what's the reason? Why are you shining like a star this early in the morning?
[Joshua smiles and sits on the chair.]
Joshua:
Well, I met a hottie in the elevator just now. He helped me carry files. When he smiled, I feel like i saw an angel, and his chest was... And and his chest .... he looks so hot hyunggg!!!
[Joshua was fanboying over a guy; they briefly exchanged some words, and Dokyeom just chuckled and rolled his eyes.]
Dokyeom:
So you like him?
[Joshua pout and think for a second.]
Joshua:
I can't say that yet. I want to know him more, to be sure. I just met him, so to say that I like him is too much. Let's just say I admire him. But one thing is for sure: if I ever fall for anyone, I will tell you first. Well, I have to go now. See you later.
Dokyeom:
See you later.
[Joshua disappeared into the corner of the corridor, and so did Dokyeom smile.]
Dokyeom:
Memories fade away, and so do feelings.

[Joshua go back to his department in hope to bump into Jeonghan on his way back when he bump into somone.]
Joshua:
I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Wonwoo hyung?
Wonwoo:
I'm fine... Wait, do I know you?
Joshua:
I'm Joshua You remember me. We met at your boyfriend's house once.
[Wonwoo think for a second and nod with a smile. ]
Wonwoo:
Right Joshua. How are you?
Joshua:
I'm good I didn't expect to meet you here.
Wonwoo:
Well i work here.
[Wonwoo said sarcastically and smiled.]
Wonwoo:
So you decided to take responsibility?
[Joshua smile and nod.]
Joshua:
Well, Hyung forced me. But I'm happy that I agree.
Wonwoo:
Good, so where are you going?
Joshua:
I'm going to work in your department as an assistant for Mr. Yoon.
Wonwoo:
We have two Yoons. Which one are you going to work for?
[Joshua shrugged his shoulders.]
Wonwoo:
Then you should go to that office. See the one at the end. I think he was waiting for assistance.
Joshua:
Oh okay. Thanks.
Wonwoo:
Best of luck.
[Joshua smiles and walks towards the office, knocks on the door, and walks inside.]
Joshua:
Hello, my name is Joshua. I'm going to work under you, Mr. Yoon.
?:
It's good to see you again, Joshua.
[The man who still didn't show his face turned his seat and smiled at Joshua.]
Joshua:
Jeonghan? I-i mean Mr. Yoon?
Jeonghan:
Drop the formalities and call me Jeonghan.
Joshua:
Uh! Okay.
[Joshua smiles awkwardly when Jeonghan speaks again..]
Jeonghan:
I'm not an old man, and I'm not rude or bossy either, so you're in good hands, Joshua.
Joshua:
I-I'm sorry about what I said in the elevator about you.
Jeonghan:
It's fine; I don't mind.
[Joshua bows and smiles while his cheeks turn red. At that moment,t Joshua foundd out that its wasn'tt just admiration that he had towards Jeonghan.]
LUNCH BREAK:
Jeonghan:
Don't you have to go for lunch?
Joshua:
I don't have an appetite. If you want anything, tell me, and I'll bring it for you.
Jeonghan:
Okay! but get something for yourself too.
Joshua:
But....
[Joshua's words were cut off by his own stomach growling. Joshua just smiled in embarrassment, and Jeonghan petted Joshua's shoulder.]
Jeonghan:
People who belong to me are meant to be full of happiness and food too.
[Jeonghan jokes while petting his stomach.]
Joshua:
Hehehe! I'll go then.
[Joshua smiled with a flushed face and ran out of the office. Jeonghan shook his head, a broad smile covering his lips, when someone interrupted his thoughts by calling him.]
ON CALL:
Jeonghan:
Hyung what happened? Is Y/n okay?
Cheol:
Everything is fine. I just called to ask, What's Y/N's favourite food?
Jeonghan:
Ddu..kbokki. Why?
[Jeonghan is still confused when Cheol speaks.]
Cheol:
I want to make peace with her, so I thought that was the best way.
Jeonghan:
Oh! Good.
Cheol:
Thanks by the way. Bye.
Jeonghan:
Bye!
CALL ENDED
[Jeonghan ended the call, and so did his smile. Joshua came into the office with the food for them.]
Joshua:
Hyung i bought lunch for us....
[Joshua stops midway when he finds Jeonghan lost in his own world.]
Joshua:
Hyung are you okay?
[Jeonghan didn't respond, so Joshua shook Jeonghan by his shoulder.]
Jeonghan:
Huh? What happened?
Joshua:
Are you okay? I was talking to you.
[Jeonghan smiles and shakes his head.]
Jeonghan:
Nothing. What were you talking about?
Joshua:
I said I get food for us.
[Joshua shows the boxes in his hand.]
Jeonghan:
You eat, Joshua; I don't have an appetite anymore.
[Joshua knows something is wrong, but he can't force it on them because they barely know each other. So he decided to go the other way for Jeonghan to eat lunch.]
Joshua:
Fine! I'll leave the lunch here then.
[Joshua places their lunch on the table and starts to look through some paperwork. Jeonghan noticed that and looked at Joshua, who was looking through some paper while biting the pen's bottom with a smile. This is the first time Jeonghan has looked at Joshua this closely. Jeonghan sighs and looks at the lunch boxes and back at Joshua.]
Jeonghan:
Why aren't you eating?
Joshua:
I don't like to eat alone, and you don't want to eat, so I'll wait for you. When you eat, I'll eat with you. The people who belong to me are full of happiness and food too.
[Joshua repeats Jeonghan's words from before. Jeonghan giggles at younger people and removes his glasses from his eyes.]
Jeonghan:
Then.... Let's eat. I feel hungry all of a sudden
[Joshua quickly dropped everything and ran towards the table he placed the lunch boxes on.]
Joshua:
Here, eat it.
[Jeonghan and Joshua ate silently when Joshua decided to speak.]
Joshua:
Ahum! Hyung, don't mind, but I want to know about you. My mom used to tell me that if you have to cooperate and properly work with your colleagues, then you have to know them. I will also tell you about myself. If it's okay with you.
[Jeonghan smile and nod in response.]
Jeonghan:
I'll start then. I have two siblings. One brother and one sister. Both are younger than me. Mom and dad almost passed away. Sister and brother are studying right now. I'm studying as well as working. I have had a friend since childhood. Seungcheol and.....
[Jeonghan stops for a moment, and Joshua looks at him curiously.]
Joshua:
And?
Jeonghan:
I'm gay. I-I know people think differently about people like me, but I don't care now. Everyone knows about this in the office; that's why I tell you.
[Joshua smiles when crimson colours appear on his cheeks.]
Joshua:
Okay, it's my turn now. I have a stepbrother and a stepsister. Hyung, noona, and my stepmother, who is also my aunt, love me as much as I love them. Dad died two years ago. I love singing and dancing. I was in a relationship, but my partner just faked their feelings. That was just a one-sided thing. I overcame that last month, and now I have a crush and I'm gay.
[Jeonghan just looked at Joshua in shock for a moment, and both of them started to laugh.]Jeonghan:
I can easily breathe around you.
Joshua:
Huh?
[Joshua tilts his head in confusion.]
Jeonghan:
Everybody passes me such weird looks-you know, that homophobic disgust on their faces.
Joshua:
Yeah i understand that.
[Joshua sighs sadly, and both of them start to eat peacefully with lots to talk about their families and hobbies.]
