today was novah's first day on set, it was two weeks after her birthday and since making things official with foolish who had gone back to north carolina some days ago. currently the girl was getting out of the uber and walking into the school where they were filming.
"good morning" finn said, he was also just arriving
"good morning!" novah greeted
"ready for the first day?" they were walking to their trailers because yes, novah got her very own trailer with her name on the door
"yep" they reached their trailes, one besides the other "kinda tired though"
"not a morning person?" it was currently 8am
"not at all" she responded "sorry im literally the worst at early morning conversation and i woke up like an hour ago"
"you're all good" finn chuckled
"hi, good morning guys" a girl around novah's age greeted them in front of the trailers "my name is lisa i work with the social media team, we're doing this activity where we're taking pictures of everyone's first day on set with this board you know like kids on their first day of school? so can i just leave them with you to fill up? and we'll take the pictures once you are in makeup and costumes"
"yeah thats fine" novah replied smiled grabbing the board as finn nodded doing the same
"okay i'll let you get settled thank you guys" the girl said before leaving
"wanna fill these up together?" the boy asked
"sure!" nova agreed "let me just put this inside" she motioned to her bag which was filled with necessities such as her laptop, water bottle, chargers, gum, etc.
"yeah me too" finn said "just come into my trailer when you're done"
with that both actors went into their respective trailer, novah walked in and looked around, it wasnt the most spacious place but it was comfortable. it had a full bathroom, a good sized vanity, plenty of storage and a big enough sofa to take naps in on long days. it was perfect.
novah dropped her things off and then walked out of her trailer towards finn's knocking and walking in when she heard a 'come in'. the two talked for a bit getting to know each other better while filling up their boards.
the rest of the day went by fast for novah, they filmed all day but it didnt feel tiring for her, probably because of all the excitement at around 9pm she was on an uber on her way home while on a call with stella.
weeks went by as novah started getting used to her new routine, on long days she would go to set and come home late at night to have dinner, take a shower and go to sleep. on shorter set days she would finish up filming and come home to stream for a little, always talking to foolish on her breaks and free time, the two hadnt seen each other in person since her birthday and had just spent their first month as an official couple away but had come to an agreement that they wouldnt make too much of a fuss about their 'monthversaries' and only celebrating with something small when they were actually together.

"alex please stop!" novah whined at the boy
"novah calmate por favor im not going to drop it im just playing around" he was balancing a bottle of beer in his hand and since he had already drank a few he was failing at it
(novah calm down please)
"if you drop that and it breaks you're cleaning it up and i dont care if you cut yourself with it asshole" novah was cooking dinner for them
"que no se va a-" he couldnt finish his sentence because the glass shattering interrupted him

"te dije que lo ibas a romper ya ves por pendejo!" novah screamed at him jumping away from the glass "now you clean it"
(i told you you were going to break it you see for being a dumbass)
"me corte" alex whined showing her his finger where there was a small cut in it

"stop you sound like my mom" he told her still standing there without moving, he really looked like a little kid who had just gotten
"can you please stop standing there and clean it up before my child gets hurt?" novah said picking up brownie who had just wandered in before he could get hurt
"you're an asshole!" he exclaimed "i cut myself thats more important"
"i'll go get you a bandaid" she chuckled walking away "start cleaning!"

"are you filming tomorrow?" the boy asked, they were sitting on the couch eating dinner
"i dont think so" novah replied "liv said something about a strike maybe starting up and so they're having a meeting about it tomorrow" she shrugged
"ohh wanna stream with me?" he asked "driving stream"
"only if you buy me food" novah said
"we can go to the van que vende los elotes" alex suggested
(that sells the corn)
"ohhhh yeah!" both of them loved that van, it was mexican snacks that actually tasted authentic "but you're getting me actual food too right?"
"yeah yeah" he rolled his eyes playfully "the burger stand?"
"the burger stand!" the burger stand had become a favorite of them, it served grilled burgers and crinkle cut fries
novah's phone buzzed and she picked it up to check it "noah?" alexis asked
"not everything is about noah" novah typed a reply to the text she received "its stella, she's in thailand with her family her sister's getting engaged"
"stella has a sister?"
"she has two sisters and a brother" the girl said putting her phone down "im actually friends with the one getting engaged"
"why is everyone getting engaged?" the boy sighed "i cant even get into a serious relationship"
"i know!" novah exclaimed "but i wont complain because i love weddings"
"what makes you think you're invited to the wedding?" alex teased
"we're friends! i am invited, stella and i both gave our seal of approval on the ring"

novah had just gotten a call from olivia telling her that the strike was in fact happening meaning that they were putting the filming of the show in pause. she had gotten word from some people from the show about how they were going to join in picketing the next day so she canceled on alex and his stream deciding to join on the strike. novah was someone who always poke up about the things she believed in, and of course she would join in on the fight for something as basic as fair pay for the writers. so she got to work on her sign and then went to sleep, she was going to be meeting charity at the strike site at 9am the next morning.
in the morning she got ready and took an uber to the site where charity was already waiting with some of her friends who were also striking. they stayed there for hours and novah finally left at 7pm ordering food on her way there to have it once she got home planning on streaming for the first time that week, she had been really busy these past weeks and her streams had become too irregular for her liking. she started stream and talked to her chat for a while before logging into the qsmp, people greeting her as soon as she spawned in
"oh look chat they havent forgotten me" she wiped an imaginary tear off her face
she walked out of her house going to spawn, today she decided she would build a smaller base near spawn, but still something cute and special, she was also thinking about building a 'restaurant' but more of a food bank because of course no one was going to pay her for it, she just felt like she didnt have much of a purpose on the island other than taking care of her egg.
"so i was thinking i make a little cottage and then like a coffee shop kinda place i dont know im not sure yet" she explained "i just need to find a good way to do it"
chat started to give her suggestions as to where to build, none convincing her.
"helloooo" foolish's voice scared her "what are you doing?"
"hi" she replied "im trying to find a place to build near here"
"oh what are you building?" he asked
"just a little house and a tiny coffee shop" she explained
"you're moving your base?"
"no i just want a place closer to spawn cause i feel like my base is too far away you know?" foolish nodded his character's head "any ideas of where i can build?"
"there's space like by my house if you wanna try there" he suggested
"okay show me"
the two warped to foolish's dragon and walked to the spot he was suggesting, she actually liked the spot so she got to building a foundation with the help of the boy, she left him for a second to go get more wood and when she came back she found foolish getting spammed with lightning while cucurucho stood next to him spawning it and her half of what she had built burning since it was all made of mainly wood
"NOAH" she screamed at him "please make it stop"
"IM TRYING" he screamed back "CUCURUCHO IS BEING AN ASSHOLE" another lightning striked
"STOP CALLING HIM AN ASSHOLE" she replied
"but he is being one" the boy said
"noah" novah warned
"fine" foolish conceded
"hi cucurucho" the girl sighed
"good morning" the bear finally spoke "what are you doing?"
"i was building a house but you kinda burned it down" she explained pointing at her half destroyed build "and now you're going to fix it"
"why?" the bear asked and foolish laughed
"because you burnt it so now you fix it" novah said
"no" cucurucho said
"listen cucurucho i had a long day of striking and i am not really in the mood to be fucked with right now" she spoke to the bear that hovered a few blocks over her "so you either rebuild what you broke or im going to get pissed and you dont want to feel the wraith of an angry mexican woman okay? you really want me on your side because in my free time, and believe me im about to have lots of that, i love finding little ways to fuck with you and the federation so please go ahead and stand there and do nothing to fix your little mistake, because again believe me it was a mistake, and give me more time to plot against you or start building and so will i" she finished her speech
cucurucho started to place blocks back in their place as soon as she finished "thank you" she said to him going back to building herself
"holy shit cucurucho you're a little bitch" foolish laughed "you're actually scared of her"
"noah shut the fuck up and get to building" the girl ordered

the couple built together for another hour, cucurucho leaving 10 minutes after once he had rebuilt what had been burnt down by the lightning, when dee woke up and found them at their building site so they decided to do her tasks, foolish had already done leo's and she was asleep.
"okay first task is take the baby fishing and catch 32 of the same fish" novah read "oh we can go fishing at uncle foosh's house lets go"
"wait no that sea is man made so its weird, leo and i have a fishing spot lets go there instead" foolish suggested
they fished for a while, somehow they were having both good and bad luck however you want to see it because they kept fishing up enchanted books and name tags over actual fish, but they managed to finish that task.
"alright next task build the baby an igloo?" novah read "we can save that for later and focus on some closer"
"we can do feed the baby something red" foolish said reading the tasks
"oh yeah here dee have an apple" she threw it at her and the egg threw it right back shaking her head "dee you need to eat the apple"
"no quiero manzana i want a burger" dee placed a sign
(i dont want apple)
"okay but a burger is not red and you need to eat something red for the task" novah had forgotten that her child liked to push her patience limits often, it was quite entertaining to be completely honest, she enjoyed fighting with the egg because she knew one way or another the tasks would end up getting done
the egg shook her head and the negotiation went on for 5 more minutes until foolish decided to step in "hey dee do you want a happy meal? they come with apple slices"
"and a toy?" the egg asked
"yeah you get a toy in your happy meal" foolish said, the egg nodding enthusiastically
"great now i need to make fries, juice and a fucking burger just so she can eat the apple" novah grunted
"okay how about this" noah suggested "i'll get all of that while you do the igloo task"
"you are a godsend thank you" novah moved her character close and emoted a hug for the boy's character
"yeah i got you" he replied hugging her too
"okay come on dee we're building an igloo while uncle foosh gets you a happy meal" novah and dee walked away

novah chuckled "he's being really helpful today its actually crazy" she spoke to her chat "like he usually doesnt put this much effort into the daily tasks"
novah and her egg found a snowy biome where dee demanded that her igloo be built on top of a mountain, so they were now climbing it, the girl talking to her chat when she started hearing the damage sound "oh hell no DEE?" she looked for the egg and started running towards her but was not quick enough, soon dee was down and the whole game chat was panicking, novah couldnt waste time replying, she was running but got stuck in the snow too, there was too much for her to shovel fast enough, and as she opened her backpack to get leather boots she heard the sound and then saw the message, little dee had lost her first life "there's no fucking way" she finally found her boots and just as she was about to put them on she died too.
at that point the girl was crying from frustration, she was frustrated at not being able to respond quick enough, at the snow being too much and sad about her egg losing her first life, she was the only one other than pomme at this point to have two lives but was now joing her siblings at being a one lifer. she respawned at her base "chat i know its stupid for me to cry im sorry im just frustrated like there was a lot i could've done there and i just choked" dee walked up to her "dee im so sorry"
"mom im sorry" the egg typed
"no no it's completely my fault im so sorry for not being able to help you" novah sighed wiping tears away "oh my baby you must've been so cold"
"hey" foolsih and bad appeared in front of them "what happened?"
"i fucked up" the girl replied "we were climbing up a mountain and i was too far away from her and there was a lot of snow and i choked didnt know what to do fast enough"
"oh no" bad said crouching in front of the little egg "dee are you okay?" the egg shook her head "oh you poor thing"
"im sorry" novah sniffled
"oh its not your fault" noah comforted her "hey in better news i got your happy meal" he placed down a chest with a burger, fries, the apple and a fully enchanted scythe "they had grim reaper toys"
after dee ate her meal, bad, foolish, novah, baghera, pac, mike and fit helped build an igloo right there in novah's base all together before putting her to sleep with a very out of tune rendition of twinkle twinkle little star.
"guys that was eventful" she said to chat as she was ending stream "i sure am not attached to the eggs at all" she joked, the chat full of YEPs "alright im exhausted so go give some love to bad, he was so nice and helpful today okay i love you, thanks for being here, thank you mods i'll see you guys later okay byeee"
