Nillia pov:
Bella placed her bag down and took a seat on the chair next to mine. "Are you okay Bells?" She seemed to be even more off than on other days. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine" She claimed, spinning her head away, without shame staring directly at Edward Cullen.
"Hey, La Push baby, ya'll in?" Eric asked, gaining everyones attention while he folded his hands. Bella and I shared a glance, "Should we know what that means?" She inquired for the two of us.
"La Push Beach down at the Quileute Rez, we're all going tomorrow" Mike cleared up, giving the dark haired no time for. "Yeah, there's a big swell coming in" Jessica added. "It's fun, you should come with us" Felt like we were urged to come with them. "La Push baby, it's La Push"
"Okay, I'll go if you stop saying that" Our whole table laughed at Bella's comment. "Seriously dude, it's creepy"
"Yeah I'm gonna have to pass, I'm not really a fan of water" I joined in, declining their offer. Bella's orbs darted to me, her expression not seeming very fond of my response. "You're making me go alone?" She whisper-yelled. "Naw, but you're not alone love. There's Jessica" I grinned as the brunette rolled her eyes.

I strolled through the lonely hallways, seeking for the bathroom to freshen up my makeup as to my surprise I suddenly made out a soft voice a few steps behind me.
"Hey" I turned around at the sound, eyeing the golden eyed pixie. "Hey" A small smile formed on my lips, following with an exhale of relief, thankful that she was despite my rudeness towards her, still speaking to me. "I know I'm not your favorite person to talk to, bu-" She began to say, just when I cut her sentence short. "No. Please don't say that, it's not true. I'm sorry I've been so mean"
"Well you stated it very clearly" She forced out a laugh. "I shouldn't have. What I said was never the truth" Her brows furrowed whilst she hesitated whether to believe what was said or not. "Why did you say it then?" She required in a monotone voice.
"It's complicated, Alice" I let a sigh escape my mouth, there was no reason for me to confess. "Now what did you want to talk about?" She took a surprisingly deep breath for someone who wasn't in need of it. "Well, my brother might has said some things, that were rather confusing, so I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come with us to our house after school so we could talk" A smile slowly creeped up my face. Alice Cullen was asking me to her house.
"I would love to"

"I can't believe we're bringing a human to our house, this is so dangerous" I overheard Rosalie whisper to Emmett. "Chill Babe, it's gonna be fine" He attempted to sooth his wife with his words, but the said girl only groaned in exasperation whenever I was mentioned.
"Don't be nervous, they're all super nice" Alice beamed a smile at me, however I just couldn't help it. I'm perfectly well aware of what's about to occur, and I'm doubting the realness of my planned reaction.
Once we went inside, I immediately got greeted by a woman who appears to be a little older in human years, most likely their 'adoptive' mother.
"Hello you must be Nillia, I'm Esme" Esme pulled me in a motherly hug, one I wasn't able to feel in nearly a century. "Hello it's nice to meet you" I smiled at her and then looked at Carlisle. "You too, again" He laughed, "Well I'm glad you're here. We're gonna give you two some privacy now"
He took ahold of his wife's hand and ordered the rest of his family to follow him outside.
"Okay, what did you want to talk about?" Alice's cold hand grabbed my own, leading me towards the couch to sit down.
"Well, this is not gonna be easy, so you might as well be prepared" I was beyond confused. Why the fuck would she need to tell me anyways.
"You probably already noticed that my family is.. different" I nodded slightly, feeling how her grip on my hand tightened, before she again, took a deep breath. "Nillia.."
"You can tell me Alice" I put my hand on her knee to stop her from bouncing it further. "We're vampires"
I tried to make it look as convincing as possible and did the one thing everyone would do in such a declaration - laugh. When I noticed her keeping the serious manner, I stopped. "What?"
"Look, I understand if you need tim-" Before she could finish, I wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tighter than the grip she had on my hand. "I'm sorry that I've been acting like a bitch to you. You were so nice to me but I kept pushing you away."
"I just told you I'm a vampire" She chuckled quietly, breathing in my almost unnoticeable scent. "You're still the same Alice to me"
She rested her head in the crook of my neck, "You're not scared?" She whispered, her gentle voice appearing just beside my ear. "I could never be scared of you" Even if I was human and only found out about the supernatural because of her in this moment, this statement would hold 100% of my honesty.
After hardly a few seconds of enjoying each others company in the arms of ours, I pulled apart, gazing into her golden orbs. "I still don't understand. Edward said you had something else to tell me"
Sighing, she looked down at her lap. "I'm afraid that if I tell you, you would feel forced or pushed into something, but it's really not like that" I intertwined our hands and gently lifted her chin up. "You can tell me anything Alice"
"Do you know what a mate is?"
My jaw almost dropped to the floor at her words. A slight smile overplayed the shock I just witnessed. "I think so, yeah. Is that what we are?" I asked her, gazing into her worried eyes.
"Yes, you're my mate Nillia. We're made to love each other"
Overwhelmed with shock but also happiness, my eyes became slightly glossy. "I'm sorry" She muttered in shame, almost disgusted by the fact. I took her in my arms again, not thinking anymore, just doing what felt right. "Don't be sorry Alice. I'm more than happy to be your mate"
And that was the truth. I couldn't be happier about the fact that Alice Cullen was my mate.
But as beautiful as it was, our moment had to be interrupted, or more like destroyed when a certain someone butted in. "You really told her" Edward scoffed.
"Of course I did. She has a right to know" He shook his head. "You don't realize the danger you put us in"
"Are you serious Edward?! Don't act like you would never tell Bella" My eyes widened. I mean I kind of already knew, but to have it confirmed?
"Yeah, but I wouldn't do it in such a stupid way" He shouted. "How would you know? You weren't even there" His eyes darted to me, "You stay out of this litt-"
"Edward that's enough" Carlisle stormed in with the rest, stopping us before a fight could take place. "Nillia is right. Your sister did nothing wrong and you shouldn't talk to her like that" If Edward was alerted about me being a vampire, he wouldn't hesitate a bit to rip my head off in this very moment. "Don't look at me like that, stupid motherfucker" I spat at him.
Rosalie let out a confident laugh while Emmett and Jasper tried to hide theirs. "What did you just call me?"
"Motherfucker" I repeated. "You better not, you don't know what I'm capable of" He warned, coming too close for my liking.
Alice stepped in front of me. "Edward stop" But he didn't listen. He just came closer, crossing a few obvious boundaries. "Edward she said stop" Esme looked at her son in disbelief.
"Come with me" My mate grabbed my hand and lead me outside.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought you here" I gave her a smile, squeezing her hand. "It's not your fault Alice. But I still should better go home now"
