Story Unfolds:
At the royal Palace of Anga:
A pretty and petite woman was now sitting on her bed. She was frowning deep. She did not understand the inner meaning of what her husband Karna said today. She was herself a Dev Kanya or a demi-God. She had an intuion of everything in future. She had knew that perfectly that she could not be able to bind him up with her. Forever. As a King he had some duty. As a friend he had some too. Very very soon he had to remarry again. Twice. With two beautiful girls. And she was not a bit jealous. She knew it perfectly beforehand that she had to share her husband with other two wives. She was warned by Mata Saraswati at the time when she granted her the wish of becoming a "Karna Sangini". Then why he asked her that question??!!! And why she was sulking alone?!! She had nothing to be afraid of!!! Then?!! Why God why?!! She did not know!!! Now let us introduce her to you all. She was none but the first adored wife of Karna, Devi Padmavati who was entitled as "Vrushali" as the Ally or wife of "Vrisha" or Karna.
Devi Padmavati (1st Wife of Karna)
She reacalled that day when she was so heart broken after the untimely demise of her best friend Baishali and prayed for her own end. She saw her aradhya or deity Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati along with Mata Saraswati in her very own eyes. They blessed her and told her the story of her life. How she had took birth for being a Karna Sangini to almost everything. That day Mata Saraswati even uttered the name of her two other sisters too. But she forgot the names!!! What did she said!!! How could she forgot those two names?!! Just how could?!!!! Padma became angry of herself.
She looked at the direction of the sky and murmured softly -
"Kya naam The?!! Smaran kyun nahin ata mujhe?!! (What was the names?!! Why don't I remember those?!!)"
"Suruchi.. Uhu.. No.. Sushila.. No.. Sumitra... Shit... Urmila.. Dhyat (shit)... Urvashi... No..."
She practically was scratching her own hair and pulling her hairs. She wanted to remember those names!! At any cost!!!But she was not clear in mind. Her mind forgot the names of her baby sisters.

At the Royal Palace of Kalinga:
One sixteen year old girl was sitting at her seat. She was singing a bhajan in her own melodic voice. It sounded too divine to hear. Her voice was sweet and she enchanted the same bhajan so much in a day that it became her life matra.
She put a big white Lilly petals on the feet of her goddess. She made another idol. To sit beside her deity. Her deity looked alone. This was a girl. Her face was not clear but she made one clay idol from her own imagination. Now they looked complete. Like her God's ardha-nariswar murti.

She smiled brightly. Her heart was filled with pure joy. She did not feel any pang of sadness or jealousy. To her Goddess. For getting her God. She knew that perfectly in her heart that only a goddess like her could get a God like him!!! Not a devotee like herself!!
She touched the Lily petals in her forehead and gently left it to the feet of her deity. Then she smiled again and murmured softly -
"Jiji, main apki Dasi hoon. (Dear elder sister, I am your big devotee.)"

Again At Anga Palace:
Padmavati opened her Padma lochan or lotus flower shaped big brown eyes in shock. She was roaming in her own bedroom chamber absentmindedly. All of a sudden she sensed that she had touched something soft in her right feet. She stopped abruptly and tilted her head to it. She could not see anything. Then she sat down on her knees and narrowed her eyes to the direction. She saw something white!!
She stretched her right hand and then lifted a flower!! White lily petal!!!
Her brain refused to believe what she was seeing just now!!! Where did the petal came from!! Certainly some maid let it in her chamber!! But why inside her chamber?!! Lily was not even her favorite flower!! Her own favorite flower was red Rose but she preferred Pink Lotus after her dear husband Karna!! She did not know how a white lily came on her room!!
All of a sudden she heard a sweet melodic River like voice cleat in her ears -
"Jiji Main apki Dasi hoon!!!"
She looked fanatically here and there. She bolted towards the windowpane but bone was there. She ran to the gate and opened it hurriedly. None was standing there. Her heart was thumping aloud inside her chest. What she heard just now!!!
Suddenly she remembered the name "Supriya". The name of His second wife. The name of her baby sister. She recalled the voice of Mata Saraswati.

"Supriya Apni bhakti main Karna ko kasht paychaungi. Tum uski Shakti Banna. (Supriya in her extreme kind of devotion will hurt Son Karna. You, Padmavati, has to become his solace and strength.)"
Within a second a lovely picture of an innocent girl emerged in the mind of Padmavati. She looked divine in her eyes. She looked like a true devotee to her.
Padmavati's eyes got blurred in tears. She outstretched her both hands in adoration and love. Then she had whispered in her own mind slowly
"Aja. Teri pratiksha kar rahi hain teri jiji. (Come to me. Your elder sister is also waiting eagerly for you.)"
A small smile spread in her beautiful face. She was truly waiting eagerly for welcoming her two baby sisters!!! In her life!! She could do anything to make her husband Karna happy!! Her devotion and selfless love was so very much that ever Lord Krishna later had compared her with his own dear Maiya Yashoda!!!
