I walk into the cafeteria and i see Lilly sitting with Janet.
Why the fuck would she do that?
She sits with their friend group at the table and they all giggle and laugh.
I look to our table and see Arlo and Eva both glaring at Lilly.
I walk to my friends and place my trey down, "I'm gonna go see why she's there."
I spot Henry standing with his trey of food so i quickly go over to him.
"Go sit down, i'll be there in a second." I smile warmly.
He nods and goes over taking a seat.
I march my way to Lilly.
"What are you doing?" I frown, ignoring the glare from emo Janet.
"I'm sitting with my new friends." Lilly snarks.
I flinch back slightly, confused by her harsh tone.
"Why are you friends with Janet? You know what she did." I whisper.
"It's in the past."
"No it's not."
"Piss off would you." Janet sneers.
I look at Lilly to see if she would do anything.
She says nothing.
My heart stings as i walk back to the table.
I thought we were closer than that.
I sit beside Henry and stare at my food.
"What happened?" Arlo mumbles.
"Janet told me to piss off, and Lilly didn't say anything." I mutter.
"Oh." Arlo rests his head on Eva's shoulder, his face sad.
I nod.
"Are you okay?" Henry asks me as the others carry conversation.
"Yeah, i just wasn't expecting that."
He nods, "What did Janet do?"
"She um, she sexually assaulted Arlo, and then took Eva skinny dipping and left her there. It was pretty fucked."
"S-she um, s-she assaulted him."
I nod.
He begins to shiver from beside me.
I look at him and move closer, "He's okay, don't worry."
"D-do you think she would do it again?"
"No, her brother got really angry. I don't think she would, but you don't really know."
He nods slowly as he shivers and he begins to stare off into nothing.
"You okay?" I whisper rubbing his back softly.
He nods and looks at me.
"Thank you."
"It's okay." I smile softly and try my best comfort him.
