Sakura P.O.V
I was setting up Halloween decorations at Uncle Pigsy's shop like hanging fake bats and ghosts on the ceiling and placing pumpkin stickers on the windows. I even placed two jack o' lanterns by the entrance of the shop. After I finished up decorating, Iris entered the shop with a confused look
"This place is also decorated" Iris said
"Yeah. Everyone are excited" I said
"Why? What are they getting excited for?" Iris asked
"Halloween" I answered
"Halloween? What's that?" Iris asked
"What?! You don't know what Halloween is?!" MK and Mei asked as they appeared out of nowhere
"MK, weren't you delivering the orders?" I asked
"Iris, how you not know what Halloween is?! That's just crazy!" MK said as he ignored my question
"You do know I've spent centuries inside the Memory Scroll right?" Iris pointed out
"Oh... right" MK said as he just remembered
"So, are you gonna tell me what Halloween is or...?"
"Halloween is the best season of the year! It's the only time you get to dress up in costumes and get free candy!" MK said with stars in his eyes
"Totally! It's also the time when everyone throws the coolest and best Halloween parties ever!" Mei said with stars in her eyes too
"I see..." Iris said with a sweatdrop
"Guys, you're starting to overwhelm her" I said as I gently moved them away from Iris
"I know! Let's hold a Halloween party this year!" MK suggested
"That's a great idea! And we'll invite everyone including Konohana's family!" Mei said
"A Halloween party sounds like great idea!" Uncle Tang said
"You just saying that because of the food, ain't ya?" Uncle Pigsy asked and Uncle Tang chuckled nervously
"I don't mind the idea, but how do we send the invitation to Konohana's family?" I asked
"We can ask Nezha. He might send an invitation to her family" MK said
"I guess it won't hurt to ask" I said
"Ask what?" Nezha asked as he entered the shop along with the Brotherhood
"Hello, everyone. MK suggested we throw a Halloween party this year and I was wondering if you can deliver an invitation to Konohana's family" I said
"I could take it" Then sitting by the counter was Baizhu
"Ah! Where did he come from?!" Uncle Tang asked as he fell off of his usual spot
"Prince Baizhu, when did you get here?" Nezha asked
"Just now" Baizhu said with a casual look "And I heard about the Halloween party, so my family and I would love to attend. Also is it mandatory to wear costumes?"
"Well, you're free to come to the party in either regular clothes or costumes" I said
"Well then, I shall let my family know about the party you'll be hosting" Baizhu said "But before I go, I would like to have one bowl of noodles and sweets please" Baizhu ordered
"Coming right up! Sakura, get the Halloween theme sweets ready" Uncle Pigsy said
"Aye, aye captain!" I said as I went to the kitchen and started setting up cake pops that's Halloween theme
After Uncle Pigsy finished making Baizhu's noodles, I placed his order in front of him along with the cake pops
"Here's your order, Baizhu" I said
"Thank you very much" Baizhu said as he started to eat the noodles and his eyes widen "My, the noodles taste amazing. I taste the hard work that the chef put into his food"
"Now that's what I call a compliment" Uncle Pigsy said looking proud of himself
"I also love the sweets. It fits the holiday" Baizhu said as he took a bite of the cake pop
"Thank you very much" I thanked him
After awhile, Baizhu finished all of the food
"The meal is quite filling" Baizhu said and he paid the bill "I'll see you all again on the day of the party. Use this to give us a call" Baizhu handed me a conch shell and he left the shop
"Are we also invited to the Halloween party?" Azure asked
"Of course you are! Our friends are all invited to come. I just need to find the place to have the party at. I look around after work" I said
"I can help you look. Brother and I have the day off today from work" Iris said
"Must be nice" I heard MK mumble under his breath
"That'll be great. Thank you" I thanked her and I looked at Nezha and the Brotherhood "What would you like to order?" I asked
After I got their orders, Uncle Pigsy started making the orders
"Hey, MK, you should invite Monkey King to the party. I bet he'll love to come" I said
"Way ahead of you" MK said
Timeskip~
After work, I met up with both Kyubi and Iris. Kyubi was in his human form and Iris didn't show her ears or tail
"Are you guys ready to look around?" I asked
"Yes, we are milady" Kyubi said
"Alright. Let's start searching" I said and we all started walking around the city
We spent the whole day looking at different buildings, but most of them are already booked, so we decided to look outside the city. We were walking through the forest
'Maybe I could ask Red Son if we could use his family fortress to hold the party' I thought
"How about use that old house? Doesn't look like anyone lives there" Iris said as pointed at an old house
"Hmm... It does look like a perfect place to hold the party" Kyubi said
"It definitely does. Looks like we found a place to throw a party" I said
"We should let the others know" Kyubi said
"I'll tell them and you guys can tell Nezha and the Brotherhood" I said
"Okay" Iris said "Let's take you home. It's starting to get dark"
"Oh yeah. I didn't even realize we were out for this long" I said as I looked at the time on my phone
"Let's go, Milady, Iris" Kyubi said and we both started heading back to the city

"Interesting~ So the wannabe goddess is throwing a party? Well then, I think it's time to show them the true meaning of fear!"
No One P.O.V - Halloween
Halloween came before they knew it, the whole city were dressed up as monsters, goblins, witches, ghosts, vampires and werewolves. Sakura was in her apartment packing her Halloween costume in a bag, she would've worn but decided to change when she gets to the old house. She packed all goodies in her bag and she left her apartment
'I still have time before the party starts, I just need to do some double checking on the house' Sakura thought
MK and Mei told Sakura that they set-up the decorations both inside and outside the house the day before. She appreciated them for that, but sometimes... they can go over board especially on Halloween
While walking, she saw Red Son
"Oh, hey Red Son" Sakura said
"Hello, cherry blossom. I know we still have a lot of time before the party, but I thought I could lend you a hand at any last minute preparations" Red Son said as his cheeks turned a bit pink
"Thank you. I love for you to come along. It's better than one person, right?" Sakura asked
"That is true" Red Son said as he and Sakura started heading to the forest where the old house is
When they got to the old house, they saw the decorations weren't overboard
"Noodle boy and dragon girl actually did something that's not over the top? I'm surprised" Red Son said
"I agree. They usually go overboard" Sakura said looking surprised "Well, since the outside is fine, can you help me decorate the inside?"
"Of course" Red Son said and they both went inside the old house and started decorating
Sunset~
MK and the rest of the gang went to the old house
"I'm so excited to party!" Mei said
"Me too!" MK said
"You guys really love Halloween, huh?" Iris asked
"Yeah we do! Because we get to wear awesome costumes and get free candy!" Mei said
"Costumes, huh? Is that why you're both dressed up?" Iris asked
MK was dressed as Monkey King and Mei was dressed as Ao Lie, she was also wearing a white wig and added two light green highlights, Tang was dressed as the Great Monk Tang Sanzang, Pigsy is dressed as Zhu Bajie and Sandy was dressed as Shu Wujing
"But how come you're not wearing a costume, Huli?" MK asked
"I am wearing a costume. I'm a werewolf, best part I don't have to change" Huli said
'Huli looks handsome whether he's wearing a costume or not' Iris thought to herself with her cheeks turning a bit red
"Is the Halloween party different from the banquets that are held in the Celestial Realm?" Azure asked
"Way different. Because it's all about having a fun time with your friends!" Mei said
"I see. It does sound different" Yellowtusk said
"I am curious how this Halloween party will go" Nezha said
"Guess we'll see lotus prince" Huli said
"I wonder what Sakura is gonna be?" Wukong asked
"Who knows. She said it's a surprise" Macaque said
When they all got to the old house, everything was dark and silent
"Is Sakura here?" MK asked
"She should be here. I should call her" Mei said as she pulled out her phone
"Are you..." They heard a voice
"Did you guys hear that?" Tang asked as he went behind Pigsy
"Maybe it was just the wind?" Pigsy
"...to face your Destiny~" The voice said and it sent shivers down everyone's spines as they huddled together
Then stepping out from the shadows was... the Lady Bone Demon, and everyone screamed
"Pfft! Ha ha ha ha! You're reactions are priceless!"
"Huh?" They stopped screaming and saw Sakura dressed as the Lady Bone Demon
"Sakura! What the heck!?" MK and Mei shouted
"Sorry, sorry. But I did say it was a surprise" Sakura said
"But... Why dressed up as her of all people?" Iris asked
"Because who's scarier than LBD?" Sakura said, Tang was about to say something
"Actually, she makes a good point" Tang said and everyone nodded in agreement
"Iris, I got your costume too" Sakura said
"You do?" Iris asked
"Yep. Let's all head inside. Konohana's family, Red Son and his parents are already inside" Sakura said "And let's get you dressed in your costume, Iris"
Sakura dragged Iris inside the old house, once everyone got inside
"Let's get this party started!" MK and Mei shouted as they started playing the music
For Sakura and Iris, Sakura was helping Iris get changed into her costume
"You know, you didn't have to get me a costume" Iris said
"Well, I wanted to. I want you to have a fun experience for Halloween. Plus, you'll get to finally have fun after being trapped inside the scroll for so long" Sakura said
'She's right. I can experience the things I missed out over the long years after being trapped' Iris thought
"And you're done!" Sakura said as she places a hat on her head and Iris looked herself in the mirror
"Woah" Iris was in awe
"Do you like it?" Sakura asked
"I do like it. But what am I dressed as?" Iris asked
"You're dressed as a witch. It's one of the classics" Sakura answered
"I see"
"Come on, let's go have a fun time" Sakura said and Iris followed her
After they left, a figure appeared with a wicked grin
"Guess it's time~ Now spirit of Iris's past come and haunt her to your heart's content" The mystery figure said and in their hands was two souls
At the party, everyone was having a great time. Iris was sitting on the couch with a drink in her hand. She saw MK and Mei chatting while eating snacks, Tang had a plate full of food, Pigsy chatting with Sandy and Konohana's family, Macaque doing a Shadow Play with a flashlight, Wukong enjoying the peach flavored candies, DBK and Princess Iron Fan chatting with Yellowtusk, Red Son, Nezha, Azure and Peng were having a chat with Sakura. Spider Queen and her minions couldn't make because they're working at a haunted house attraction
'Everyone are having a great time. And I'm enjoying myself too' Iris thought to herself
"Iris..." Iris felt a sudden chill run down from her spine "Who said you're allowed to have fun?"
'No... It can't be' Iris shook her head 'Relax Iris, it's probably my mind playing tricks on me or something' Iris thought and she felt someone place a hand on her shoulder
"Ah!" Iris let out a yelp
"You okay there, Iris?" Iris turned and saw Huli and her brother
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine" Iris answered, then Huli took a seat next to her
"You don't look fine to me. What's wrong?" Huli asked
"... I... I think something's here" Iris said
"Something's here? Like what?" Huli asked
"I'm not sure... But I think something from my past is coming back to haunt me" Iris said
"Well, whatever it is, its not gonna harm you, not while I'm around" Huli said and Iris blushed
"I'm also going to protect you as well. It is my job as your brother" Kyubi said
"Thank you" Iris thanked them
Then the music stopped playing and the lights went out
"What happened to the lights?!" MK asked
Then illuminating the darkness were two souls
"Iris, get behind us" Kyubi said and Iris wasted no time getting behind them
Then the two souls started to take form
"What are these souls doing here?!" Nezha asked as he summoned his spear, and Iris started shaking
"No..." Iris looked at the spirits with a look of fear
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the cursed child" The fox head said with snarl
"I'll make sure you'll pay for everything that you did to me in the past!" The male spirit shouted and she held onto Kyubi's arm and Kyubi glared at the fox head
"Don't ever call her a cursed child! You worthless old man!" Kyubi shouted
"Well, if it isn't my son. And here I thought I'll never see you again" The fox head said
"Son? Kyubi, Iris, is this..."
"This is the spirit of our father. The one who killed me and sold Iris into slavery" Kyubi said
"And I know that man next to him. He was the one who had Iris as his slave" Konohana's mother said as she glared at the spirit
"You! It's all your fault! Because of you, I was executed for owning a slave!" The man's spirit shouted
"And I told you already, slavery is illegal in the Land of Cherry Blossoms" Konohana's mother said
"But you didn't say anything about execution!" The man's spirit shouted
"Because we knew you'll try to escape" Konohana's father said
"I'LL MAKE YOU ALL PAY FOR THIS!!!!!!" The man's spirit shouted as he charged towards Konohana's family, but he was suddenly frozen "WHAT THE HELL?! WHY CAN'T I MOVE?!"
"Simple. It's a protection spell that I used to protect the family before we came here" Alhaitham said
"Our brother's spells are top notch!" Aether said
"He always performs this spell whenever we leave our homeland" Lumine said
"It's quite handy" Yelan said
"It's true" Baizhu said
"How about I imprison you in this?" Alhaitham pulled out a box "Once you're inside, you won't be able to come out until I let you out, and I'm not planning to anytime soon" Then Alhaitham opened the box and the man's spirit was sucked inside
"Well, that's one spirit down" Baizhu said and they looked at Kyubi and Iris were fighting their father's spirit
"Should we help them?" Sakura asked
"No. This is their fight" Nezha said
"Let's hope they'll be able to beat their dead old man" Huli said
Iris and Kyubi's father tried to bite them whole, but they keep dodging. Iris summoned her scythe and Kyubi used his fox fire. They both managed to deal some damage on their father
"Why you! I'll make sure you both regret this!" Their father shouted as he attacked again
"Why can't you just leave us alone! We suffered enough already because of you!" Iris shouted
"You suffered?! Ha! If anything I suffered the most! Because of you, I lost the love of my life! Now I'll make sure you'll suffer triple as much as you did as a child!" Their father shouted
Iris grew irritated
"Would you just shut up! You always blame me for something that I didn't do! For once, let me be happy! I want to spend the rest of days laughing with my brother and friends! I even want to start a relationship with Huli!" Iris shouted and Huli's face turned red when he heard Iris said that "Now, get out of my life! Go back to where you belong!" Iris raised her scythe up and sliced her father's face in half. Her father's spirit started to crumble
"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Their father let out a scream and he was finally defeated
Iris was breathing heavily and she fell on her knees
"Finally... Finally it's over" Iris said as she catches her breath
After awhile, the inside of the old house was now a mess due to the fight
"Aw man! Now it's a huge mess!" MK complained
"But why were the spirits even here?" Red Son asked
"It's because of this one here" Peng said as Yellowtusk held up a girl
"Hey! Put me down this instant!" The girl shouted
The girl has long reddish hair, on her head was a black tiara, her eyes were pink, she's also wearing a long pink dress, around her neck was a necklace with a heart-shape ruby
"Ugh. Not her again" Nezha said
"Do you know her, Nezha?" Sakura asked
"Unfortunately, I do. She's a demon princess of the Blood Kingdom, Crimson" Nezha said
"But why is she even here?" MK asked
"I wanted to torture that fox girl!" Crimson said
"What!?" Everyone shouted
"I wanted to see her suffer because I don't like any of you! Seeing everyone suffer is my only source of entertainment!" Crimson said
"..." Everyone went silent
"That was the reason?" Iris asked
"Pretty stupid if you ask me" Huli said
"Shut up! I didn't ask for your opinions!"
"And your going back home! I'll have to let your mother know that you snuck out and caused trouble again" Nezha said and Crimson looked shocked
"NO! Don't tell my mommy!" Crimson shouted
Then Nezha wrapped Crimson with his ribbon
"This should hold you until we reach your home" Nezha said "I'll come back some time tomorrow"
Then Nezha left
"I think we should stop for the night" Sakura said
"Agreed" Everyone said and they started to clean up
"Hey Iris" Huli called her "Is it true about what you said earlier?"
Iris looked at him with a confused look and suddenly remembered what he meant
"Uh... I mean... Uh..." Iris turned bright red as she looked away
They were both silent for awhile
"Well, I don't mind" Huli said
"Huh?"
"If you want, we can start a relationship" Huli said as he scratches his cheek with his finger and his cheeks turning pink
"I love to" Iris said and she turned red
"Finally!" Mei shouted, making the new couple turn in her direction
"Mei! Why did you have to shout? If we waited a bit longer, we might've seen them kiss" MK said
"Why were guys even watching?!" Iris asked
"Because we didn't see you guys, so I thought we look for you" Mei said
"But I didn't expect to see this" Peng said
"I find it quite romantic. Reminds me how Demon Bull King tried to ask my hand in marriage" Princess Iron Fan said as she remembers
"Huli, if you ever make her cry, I'll make sure you'll suffer!" Kyubi said
"Don't worry. I don't plan on doing that" Huli said
"Ugh! This is so embarrassing!" Iris shouted
This night was something that no one will ever forget
