as savannah sang her heart out and sent the voice messages of it all in the groupchat, seorin put her phone to charge and stood up from her bed, gaining meihui's attention who sat on the floor while trying to comprehend the material written in her books.
"are you going somewhere?" she asked, gaining a nod from the younger who went to fix her hair
"jisung's. i miss him," she looked over at the chinese girl only to find her rolling her eyes with a smile on her face
"you two, i swear.." she shook her head
"good luck, mei. if you need to get in contact with me, call jisung. im leaving my phone here, okay?"

and with that seorin was out of their room and walking towards the door of their dorm, seeing hyemin in the way and slapping her butt as a way of greeting her.
"pervert," the older gasped and slapped seorin's butt in return who just laughed, putting on her shoes and setting off to see her boyfriend.
she didn't really know why but she had an empty feeling in the pit of her stomach out of nowhere and had a strong urge to just see him and be in his presence.
it never happened to her often but when it did, she would try to ignore it. but this time the feeling was so overwhelming that she felt like she would burst out crying any minute.
so lost in her thoughts, she didn't realise she was already on his dorm's floor, subconsciously at his door. she reached up to knock but the door opened to one of her chinese friends who got slightly startled at her sudden appearance
"man, fuck you. you scared me," chenle said with a hand on his chest
"im sorry," she sheepishly replied, "where's jisung? and where are you going?"
"jisung's in the kitchen and I'm going to the art room to bother renjun. the rest aren't at home so don't fuck anywhere except the bed-"

chenle went on his way, leaving seorin to enter the dorm with the empty, gut-wrenching feeling still lingering inside of her.
she walked to where chenle had said her boyfriend would be and indeed, he was stood in the kitchen with his back turned to the door, opening a cabinet and looking at the different snacks shoved in there
she silently went over to him and wrapped her arms around his torso, making him jump and shriek
"it's just me," she said, voice barely comprehensible as her cheek was presses against his back
"seorin? dude, you scared me so bad"

jisung chuckled and she felt the vibrations from the sound as he let out the noise. he turned around, making sure her arms were still around him as he reciprocated the action.
he looked down at her face which was already facing upwards, looking at him. he couldn't help but notice her tired and dull expression
"darling, are you okay?"
she shook her head.
"wanna talk about it?"
she shrugged.
"do you wanna stay here? or move to my room?"

he stayed silent for a while, rubbing her back with his hand while the other rested on her hip. he brought it up to her face, tucking away loose strands of her hair behind her ear. he held her jaw with his hand as they both gazed into eachother's eyes, just basking in eachother's warmth despite the harsh wind outside.
he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, lingering there for a while.
seorin didn't know why but it made her cry. it warmed up her chest and made her stomach churn; the void of emptiness long forgotten.
he pulled away when he felt his shirt get a little wet and gasped in worry at her tear-stained face
"oh baby, are you okay?"
she sniffled, and shook her head, "i-" her breath got stuck in her throat but he waited patiently for her to go on, giving her time to collect her thoughts.
"i don't know, jisung" she finally said, "i just felt so alone out of nowhere. i know I'm not but, it just happened and i just wanted to be with you- and i love you, so much. it's so hard to believe you love me too, you know?" she paused to sniffle again
"im just.. I don't know. i just love you,"
he smiled at her words and wiped away her tears with his thumb in gentle motions, "i love you more. and it shouldn't be hard to believe that i love you because that's my entire life, seorin. you're my entire life. what idiot would i be to not love someone who allows me to see the whole world from just one room?"
the depth his words carried made her cry harder somehow, "how are you not a literature student, what the heck"
he chuckled deeply, sending chills down her spine, "words just come to me when I'm talking about you and how much i love you. they come and they don't stop coming. i could assemble all the beautiful words in all languages and it still wouldn't be enough to convey what i feel properly."
