"what are you doing sitting right there" I laugh as he shakes his head
"nothing" he says as the doctor walks through the door
"R are you okay?" a girl says as I stare up
"never better" I say lifting off the floor
"that was scary last night" she says as I shrug
"so it wasnt a dream?" I ask as she shakes her head
"nope I found you in the hall really far away from your room asleep" she says as I sit back
"the doctors where informed from patients who where woke from your little 'moment' last night about what happend" she whispers as I sit back as stare at M as he shrugs
"Im never leaving this place am I" I moan as she laughs
"nope" she says walking out I sigh
"So...cold I know you cant believe it...some times you got to face the feeling...and you dont care if you get up again...theres a thosand things I will not understand..." I sing to myself
"Dont be a girl R" M snickers as I stare at him
"whats wrong with being me" I laugh as he shakes his head
"erghghg" he groans as I laugh
"erghghghghg" I groan as he laughs and I shake my hands crazily in the air
"erghghg" I laugh again as he bites the air and places his hands close to his face then shakes his fingers and pulls a crazy face I laugh as I do the same
"your ready R" he says as I laugh
"ready for what?" I laugh
"to deal with pain" he says as I nod and crease my eyebrows
"you dont deal with pain you just move aside and let it deal with you" I whisper as he smiles
"how you feeling"
I spin around
"jeez! never sneak up on a corpse" I laugh as he sits down
"good mood?" he asks as I freeze
"yeah...I feel great mabye I can go today" I say as he shrugs
"I doubt it" he says as I sulk
"you cant keep me here for long I just learned what lock picking is" I smile as I cross my arms
"where you going to go?" he asks as I smile
"home!" I say as he shakes his head
"the plane? the same one thats leaving in an hour" he says as my eyes go wide
"they cant leave me here!" I panick as the doctor shrugs I jump up and bolt out the doors as I run down the hall I stare at the front doors as I run and open it I have no idea where I am but I just run and run and run untill I see the airport in the distence I watch the plane as everyone climbs it I run up to it waving my arms.
"WAIT!" I yell as they climb back out I stand infront of the plane as everyone stares at me Darcy runs and hugs me
"what are you doing here R!" Julie yells as I shake my head
"I..I...I" I stutter as she grabs my hand and pulls me into the plane
"AHHHH" Someone screams as I spin around and run out the plane a army stands pointing guns at my kids as I jump infront of them and push them behind me I growl at them as they rise there guns Julie jumps out the plane and grabs my hand as I push her behind me
"sir?" a man says staring at a large guy as he nods they rise the guns and aim them at my head
"No dont hurt him!" Julie yells as I keep her behind me
"Orders" he says as I nod
"Im sorry but its shoot on sight ANY. corpse" he says as I shiver
"Julie...get them to safety" I say to her as she shakes her head
"Ju..lie" I say as she sniffs I stare forward as I crack my knuckles I grit my teeth and aim my feet at the biggest guy
"R.." she whispers as I look back and smile hopefully as I run into him I take a chunk out of his neck the guards yell and jump back as I swipe two of the guards feet I smash there head of the ground not hard enough to damage there skull just knock them out I then stare at the guy whos holding his neck in pain as I smash his head of
the ground remorsefully I grab his brain and shrug as I stuff it in my pocket I run to the left as fast as I can as guards follow me and shoot at me I just keep my head forward and smile as I keep running I run towards a plane and jump inside I hide in the bathroom I lock the door as they follow into the plane and bang on the door
"Corpse open!" the man yells as the others laugh
"its a corpse" he laughs
"yeah they cant understand you" the other man laughs as I laugh
"you know using the bathroom is hard...when your standing there" I joke as I laugh I hear there voices gasp
"I hate having to eat your friend...exspecially infront of my children...but nobody threatends my family" I warn as they kick the door I shrug to myself as I un-lock it I wipe the blood off my chin and step out
"I've never saw anyone Human Or Not ever protect someone like that" the man says as the others rise their guns he drops his and steps backwards
"Im not being apart of this" he says walking out the plane as I shrug I stare around the plane my eyes widen...my old home I stare at each nick nack as I let a tear slip out I open my bag and place my music player in the exsact spot I used to keep it in you know I actually missed this place I miss this place...I miss hunting with M not the killing part but the bonding part where he would protect me and Id protect him everytime I hunted I always grabbed a nick nack something to say well done for living for one more day. I play the song as it echo's threw the plane I sit in the plane seat and sway from side to side.
"hey" the man says as I open my eyes
"what do corpses do for fun" he says as I rise an eyebrow
"let me go and you will never have to shoot a bullet again if you want" I say as they stare at eachother and nod we run out the plane as they follow me I stare up the road I can see Julie pacing back and forth as I run up to her and hug her
"what happend R" she panicks as I shake my head
"its fine" I whisper as my kids hug my legs I bend down and hug them they press there hearts against my chest as I feel them thump I smile and hug them tighter
"I can hear your hearts" I whisper as they smile I place my hand over mine as I close my eyes and stare at the floor nothing just nothing I pick them up as we run into the plane Bang! I hear as I hold my finger up to them I run out the plane the three men lie on the ground as two other men stand there guns at Julie
"Guys its me!" she says as they shake their heads
"Im sorry Julie for your loss" he says as my kids run out the plane I yell as they run infront of Julie and push her back
"Guys get back in the plane!" I yell as they stay standing there I move forward as they rise there guns at me
"not another step anyone!" he yells as Julie tuts
"guys put down the..." Julie says as shes cut of with Bang Julie falls to the floor holding her leg as I stare up they shrug at eachother as someone else guns them down
"MOMMY" someone yells
"NO MOMMY" a boy yells
I stare around as it feels like Im going to die I just stare around as I tense up BANG...BANG...shots go off as I stare around I stare at the ground Nora and Mark are lying on the ground...bleeding as they hold there wounds I stare around again
"COME OUT!" I yell as I run upto the plane I run inside
"HELP...please.." I whisper as Darcy jumps up and runs out she grabs my kids I try to move but I cant I collapse on the floor on my knee's
"Julie!" I say as someone runs out and comes back in with her
"R im fine really" Julie says as I stare at her leg
Darcy places my kids infront of me
"look Ill fly as fast as I can!" Darcy says as I stare at them
"it...feels good to bleed" Nora whispers
"Is mommy okay" Mark says as I nod and hold back tears its one long hour of holding down my kids wounds when we land and I pick them up and I run out the plane
"HELP!" I yell as everyone else jumps up and I lay them on the beach Caroline bends down as Nora passes bandages and such to her
"R? what happend" Nora says as I hug her
"these are my adopted kids from back before I met Julie they...just turned human someone shot them and Julie" I say as Nora pants
"is Julie okay?" she says as everyone steps out the plane Darcy carrying Julie
"Julie's tough she'll be fine" I reassure her as she smiles
"whats your kids called" Nora says changing the subject as I smile
"they didnt have names sort of like me so I named the girl Nora" I start Nora cuts me off with a laugh
"and I named the boy...M..a..rcus" I say staring at the floor
"call him...mark though" I whisper
"until...Im ready" I say as Nora nods
"beautiful island" a girl butts in
"yeah" I stare across and notice 10 people are standing around the graves
"wheres the kids" Julie says as Nora points at the left me and Julie walk up to the kids they lie there looking happy and just alive one thing I know ill never be again.
"Julie I just want serenity why does all these bad things happen to me" I whisper as she leans against me her leg bandaged up
"do you really believe in serenity anymore R" she whispers
"stop bringing R down Jules"
"what?" she says as I shrug "I thought you where gone" I whisper as everything goes silent and I shrug and stumble off
"Julie!" Nora snaps me out of my day dream
"Julie hes...diffrent" Nora says as I turn to her
"if your here to talk about how mental he is dont bother" I snap at her as she jumps back
"woh croc" she says
"Im talking about his depression and he may be a corpse but hes losing the will to live Julie...fix this" Nora says walking off as I sit in the sand 'fix this' her voice echo's its not that easy
I sit at the edge of the ocean as feet crunch on the sand I turn around Darcy and Caroline stand facing me I stand up as I look at them and looking from left to right as I smile slightly she lifts her head down as I stare at her
"so.." I whisper she shakes her head
"Im..s..o..sorry..R" she whispers as I shake my head
"what for." I whisper under my breath as she stares at me
"for your loss" she says as I fall on my knee's I place my head against the sand
"I..I..I..never got to say goodbye" I whisper crying silently into the sand
"Mark..didnt..make it" she whispers as I lift my head up
"Nora?" I say as she shrugs
"stablised" she whispers as I smile tears still streaming down my face
"I barely got to see him...then he gets taken away just like before" I whisper as they walk off
"R" Darcy says as I lift up my head
"he died alive you know" she whispers as I shrug
"its not to late to find out his past" Darcy whispers walking off as I sit there...does she mean...eat them. I choke on my tears as I jump up I walk towards Mark's lifeless body as I choke again on my tears I stare at his head I turn around and Darcy hands me his brains as I stand there mouth wide open
"why are you doing this to me?" I choke out
"wouldnt you want to know exsacally what his name was dont you want to see him alive again" Darcy chokes on her tears as I take the brain of Mark and stuff it in my mouth I chew on it as lights flicker
"Im scared mom dont leave me in the dark" he whispers
"Your fine my sweet James" she whisper as he smiles slightly
"mom..." he whispers as she turns around
"hm"
"will I ever have a daddy" his voice echo's as it shows him walking through the street alone as a corpse jumps him it takes a chunk out of his arm as it sniffs up and runs the other way he falls on the ground then it shows me and my wife taking hands with him R's back to greiving its been like this for days Me Nora and the rest slowly build the town up R on the other hand sits by the graves I feel like the only good thing
about being a corpse is never having to worry about losing people now that R is worrying about losing people and he is losing people I feel there is nothing left in this crazy world.
"things will get back to normal" Julie whispers to me as I turn around
"and if it doesnt?...we just sit...put our feet up and watch...the ones we love die as the...city crumbles around us?" I say as Julie slightly gasps as she stares at me wide eyed.
"thats right" she storms off as I just smirk
"pfft" I smirk turning back to the stone as I carve into it hes going crazy does he really think everyone is going to die does he really think the city will just burn...what bonies know how to burn things now I swear hes just so grr!! If I died right now then what would he say what if he was the only one left would he still be so stupid.
"alright Nora heres the deal you give me the most strongiest knock out drug you have" I whisper angrly at her as she laughs
"Im not sure if its safe to use it on a corpse" she stares at the sand as I laugh
"who said anything about using it on R" I laugh
"pfft never...uh..uh" I say as she stares at me and crosses her arms
"who else do you really want off your case?" she asks as I duck my head down
"hes going back to that hospital" I say as she shakes her head
"is that the best idea?" Nora says as I nod
"give him what he wants give him his music and drug him often and he will be right as range let him talk to those monsters he see's anything to stop him from being like that" I drag out pointing at him as he sits there and carves
"okay...but we need to sneak away first talk some stuff over with those doctors" Nora whispers as I nod and slide towards Darcy
"hey" I say as she stares at me
"hey" she answers as I stare at her
"can we talk" I whisper as we walk off
"okay I know it you know it my husband is completely bonkers" I mutter as Darcy stares at me
"yeah..." she whispers I grab her shoulder as I stare at her
"so that means you understand we have to go to drastic measures to stop him doing something he may regret?" I ask as she nods
"I want to basically go back to the hospital talk over some terms and just drug R play some music for him and lock him in the room mabye with a tape recording because he cant read very good" I say as Darcy stares at me baffled as I laugh
"come on you have to drive" I push her as she walks over to the plane
"where you going" Summer asks as I dart my eyes at R and wink as she nods
"Ill find out later Im busy right now" she winks as she walks off me Nora and Darcy climb into the plane.
