During Dakari's suspension, he and Zoriana started their senior project, and hung out together. It's Friday Kari's first day back at school. He wasn't able to be on school premises while suspended so he missed football practice and has to sit out for the game today. The team was pissed but Dakari knew in his heart he fought for a reason and would do it again even if it was basketball season. It sorta freaked him out how Zoriana is becoming an important factor in his life. He started to question himself about being focused on his goals, but the goals he set are changing every day.
After sharing a beautiful moment, Dakari noticed Zoriana constantly letting her guard down around him. They are even closer and inseparable.
They sat in their first class of the day working on their project. With social media being a big source of information they used multiple platforms to show good and bad outcomes to further develop their arguments.
Dakari had finished for the day getting a little bored doing the same thing for so long. He looked over at Zozo who was deep into a book.
"Fat mama you off today?" Dakari asked tapping her
"Yes, it's the first Friday I don't have to babysit. You wanna come over and we watch a movie. Can watching movies together be a love language?" She asked he laughed at her just running her mouth
"Well, I have to go support my team coach making me sit out cause I missed practice. But afterward, I wanna take you on a fair date, can I take you out tonight?" He asked she gave him the side eye before nodding
"Talk to me pretty girl," he said making her look at him
"Yes, I'll have my mom drop me off at the game and we can leave together," she said he smiled liking the plan
"Cool but don't be cheering for no other niggas same team or not, I might have to pad up 'cause I'm a starter" he groaned he's glad he keeps extra outfits in his truck.
"I'm excited Pookies. Ouu we should go to the movies for our next date" she said he smiled at her thinking of a second date before the first
"Bestie why you being fake?" Miracle asked mugging Zoriana
"How? I been busy" he said
"Doing what? Please don't say what think you finna say easy coochie is not always good for you" Miracle said he just shook his head
"I'm revirginizing, I haven't done anything with anybody yet but if I did why are you worried?" He asked
"Because you too handsome for what you doing now and everybody saying you going crazy and beating niggas for someone you don't even know," she said getting upset, at this point, he would just post and say Zozo is his girlfriend everybody keeps trying to separate them because of their social norms, not his.
"You too beautiful to be ugly as fuck on the inside" he responded he wanted to go lower to the pits of hell but he's not the type to throw someone's issues they came to him about in their face.
Miracle just walked away he went to his contacts and texted his mom for advice.
"This why them other kids of parents delusional our mama is crazy" Dakari mumbled
"Kari?" Zoriana called him he put his phone down and looked at her
"Wassup?" He asked facing her
"Kiss?" She asked he smirked grabbing her face
"They gone hate fuck em we ball," he said kissing her lips twice
"You not slick either jealous ass trynna prove a point," he said before the bell rung
"Um y'all better be doing more of the project than y'all be kissing and smiling in each other faces," Mrs. Prescott said smiling at her students their relationship was really orchestrated by her
"We do Mrs. P," Dakari said grabbing Zoriana's hand before leaving the class
"Imma see you in a minute, be good," he said walking her to her chemistry two class
He walked to his Calculus class sitting in the back by Chase.
"Bro, why is Miracle being a weirdo?" He asked Chase just laughed
"We told you that girl wanted you," he said referring to him and the rest of their friends
"Ion want her she foul as fuck" he stressed as soon as he likes one person every girl wanna come out of the woodwork with love for him but when he was sneaky linking everybody on mute.
"So you talk to one girl?" Chase asked surprised
"Yeah I always talk to one girl at a time, why y'all trynna paint me to be a hoe?" he asked
Dakari's last class of the day yearbook had ended, and he walked to the practice field to meet up with his friends.
"I'm mad at you bro" Daylen the quarterback said as they stood around
"Ion play bout respecting my people. Justin weird why is nobody focused on that?" He asked a little annoyed he knew how much of an asset he was but he already beat himself up about the situation, and now so had everyone else
"He got outta the charges because whoever it is won't say nothing," Bubba said
"I apologize I can't be on the field with y'all tonight but I'm gonna show up like always," Dakari said before they started their private practice
At five he went home to shower and eat. His parents aren't coming to the game because they only come to support him. They knew football wasn't his passion. But every time he starts they are there.
He showered throwing on the team practice uniform, he grabbed his under armor running shoes, and phone off his charger before going downstairs of his empty home. He called Zoriana on FaceTime while warming up a meal prep meal of teriyaki steak broccoli and rice his mom prepared.
"Pookiessss" she answered he smiled into the camera at the nickname
"Fat mamas, what you doing?" He asked grabbing a spoon from the silverware drawer
"Oh nothing just working on my argument, oh Kari my mom and dad are together delivering a load in Alabama, can I just ride to the game with you? My mom said it's okay if I go to the fair with you too" She said he was happy that her parents liked him.
"Yeah I'm not leaving home till six thirty, come over it's only five twenty we got time to do our favorite thing," he said, it never failed every time they were together they watched movies and slept peacefully.
"Okay I'm already dressed see," she said setting her iPad up to show him her fit. She wore some cream-colored baggy windbreaker pants, a tight-fitted navy under-armor shirt with her Balenciaga x-pander sneakers, and a cream graphic tote bag. Her cornrows were still looking great so she just re-did her edges.
"You look so good mama," he said as the microwave beeped
"What you ate today?" He asked after grabbing his food mixing it and checking the temperature before putting the food back in the microwave without the lid
"Umm I can't remember," she said instead of thinking of a lie but in her defense when her period is about to come she doesn't have an appetite.
"So nothing? I'm finna meet you halfway" he said taking his food from the microwave before grabbing his phone and walking out of the front door
"Why you do that Kamani?" He asked as she walked towards him, she felt like she was in trouble and she feels that way every time he doesn't call her by one of her three nicknames.
"I don't know can I get a hug please," she asked as they approached his driveway, when they got on the porch he hugged her sliding his hand down her back to her ass
"You gotta eat something mama, stop doing that" he mumbled before they walked into the house
"Where is everybody?" She asked taking her shoes off while he went to the kitchen to retrieve his food
"Iono to be honest, they don't come to games ion play in so we might be alone until then, you cool with that?" He asked grabbing a folding TV tray table from the living room closet
"You could've asked for help," Zoriana said watching him set his food and canned Minute Maid pink lemonade up on the table after unfolding the table
"I got it," he said as she continued to stroll through Tubi for a good movie
"Let's watch the best man" he suggested she looked at him quickly before putting the movie on
"Comere," he said tapping his lap, Zoriana just moved closer to him not sitting where he asked her to
"We always watching nineties or early two thousand movies," she said as he picked her up putting her on his lap
"You're eating I don't have to sit right here right now," she said turning around while he took a bite of his food
"You finna eat too," he said holding a spoonful up to her mouth
"Mmm this is good," she said after chewing and swallowing the food
The teens shared the meal and watched the best man until the container was empty. Kari sat up putting the glass meal prep container on the tray.
"Pookie what's in your pocket?" Zoriana asked reaching to his lap to move the object
"Pooh that's attached to me, let it go," he said before opening his drink
"Why is it so hard?" She asked looking at him
"Cause I can't control my hormones yet" he shrugged
"It is uncomfortable? Like is it heavy it feels heavy Kari" she questioned he just laughed
"It's not uncomfortable unless it happens so much without nutting, so like this the first time in three days it's finna go down, and it's not heavy" he shrugged while she stared at him
"Why is it hard tho?" She asked again not understanding him blaming his hormones
"Cause I like you and you sitting all this ass on it, and you look so pretty like I said I can't control my hormones," he said poking her ass
"I'm finna take a nap you know what my dick feel like stop playing so much," he said laying back on the couch
"You're annoying," she said taking the dishes into the kitchen, while in there she grabbed water and came back to Dakari laying on his back with his hand in his shorts
She sat on the other end of the couch, he sighed sitting up grabbing her making her lay on top of him.
"Stop playing with me man," he said tiredly
After their nap, the teens got up brushed their teeth, and headed to the school. They made it before the team ran out onto the field.
It was now halftime and Zoriana was honestly bored her school was getting blown out. She couldn't cheer because she knew Dakari was watching wherever he was, she lost him on the sideline.
"Riri?" Justice the captain of her majorette team asked
"Justice hey girly" she spoke they were the closest on the team
"I forgot this your school girl my man ain't playing on the defense" Justice laughed she was dressed in her school shirt with her boyfriend's number on the back of her shirt and on her face.
"I see I'm happy Kari not playing," she said quietly this school offense was horrible but the defense is top tier
"Whose Kari?" Justice asked happy her friend was making other friends
"My best friend he is somewhere," she said looking at the time
"So are you gonna introduce your best friends to each other?" Justice asked happily
"I can, Jus he's super tall don't freak out," Zoriana said before they started talking about random things.
The girls stuck together for the rest of the game. Before the final quarter started they grew tired of seeing the same thing on the field so they went to the concession stand.
"I can't wait until competition season, I wish you were my co-captain," Justice said as Dakari approached them, he was supposed to pad up but the coaches decided against it so he still wore his team workout set but he had his jersey on over the compression shirt
"Kamani you were cheering for somebody?" He asked approaching her and leaving his friends behind
"No, Dakari this is Justice my bestie" Zoriana introduced them before telling the person at the counter what she wanted
"She cheating on you with me and some six-year-olds that's obsessed with her" Dakari said shaking his head
"Y'all all can be my best friends stop being like that," she said grabbing her water and sour Skittles
"Rank us," he said she shook her head No before his coach yelled his name
"I gotta go here the keys to my truck just in case yo anti-ass get tired of being around people," he said giving the girl his Nike lanyard
"Riri you and that beautiful boy are so cute," Justice said as they walked back to the stands
"We're just friends Jus," Zoriana said
"Mmhm, friends my ass. Ouuu lemme take a picture of you, you look so pretty" Justice said grabbing the girl's hand and going over to an empty area
"Yeaaaa you such a bad bitch," Justice said making the girl laugh
After the game, the team was scolded for their performance. Every coach was pissed that they let a half-ass team outperform them today. Dakari changed his outfit to some khaki cargo pants a white shirt with some blue logos and his blue Off-White x Air Force 1 Lows.
"You going somewhere?" Juju asked as Dakari tried to rush out of the locker room
"The fair Zozo waiting I'm taking her on our first date," he said
"Imma be out there with the guys," Juju said before they did their handshake
"See y'all out there then I'm finna head out," he said before leaving the locker room and going to his truck where Zoriana and Justice stood talking about random things.
"Aye Justice she mines now you had enough time ma'am," Dakari said making the girls giggle
"That's why my man just single handily demolished y'all offense," Justice said before hugging Zoriana
"You love the opps," he said opening the passenger door of his truck for her, helping the girl in before closing the door
"Pookies kiss please," she asked sweetly
"I'm weak in the knees I gotta stand up" he mumbled before giving her a kiss
"Such a sweet boy" she smiled before grabbing his phone
"Oh I saw you followed me on Apple Music you trynna steal my music?" She asked he just shook his head laughing, he wanted to see what she was doing on everything to know how she's feeling, and music is a big way to tell how people are feeling.
"I wanna follow you on everything, see how you feeling and shit is that a crime?" He asked she just unlocked his phone and went to his car rides playlist seeing he made a playlist for her too titled Zozo favorites.
"How do you know my password?" He asked laughing
"I watched you type it in duh" she shrugged his password is so easy to remember "dak2cool" is simple.
"Two is your favorite number?" She asked
"Yeah yours is four," he said, he loves figuring out small little things about her
"Stalker," she said he shrugged having no shame
"Can you pick a song so I can drive?" He asked making her laugh and shuffled his car rides playlist 772 Love by YNW Melly started to play, he put his truck in gear and left the school.
"Hope inside my car and take control of my love" he sang off-key she laughed while taking selfies on his phone
"We should start a YouTube channel," he said she looked over at him
"And do what?" She asked
"Family channel shit" he shrugged
"Boy— okay I'll play into your little fantasy but we should make it where only we can watch them" she shrugged
"Yeah until everybody knows we're together, we dating now but when you my girl I'm posting your face every day," he said shrugging he knows she is really shy and private but he's the opposite.
"We should make the videos look cinematic since we like movies so much" she suggested
"I like that," he said
Once they got to the fair the parking lot was packed. There were so many people trying to get a good parking spot the boy whipped into the first park he saw after paying to park they got out and Kari paid for them to get into the fair.
"Are you going to let me buy you something?" Zoriana asked he held on to her hand while putting his wallet back in his pocket
"Next date you can plan this all for me right now so what you wanna do first?" He asked
"Ferris wheel please that's the only ride I'll get on," she said the Ferris wheel was a bit of a walk when they made it the line was long so they just stood talking to each other until it was their turn to get on. They scored an empty cart.
"You trynna be cute and freezing," Dakari said looking at the girl's hard nipples through her bra and shirt
"That's embarrassing" she mumbled covering them with the jacket he took off and gave to her.
"What's the first thing you remember noticing about me?" She asked laying her head on his shoulder
"That ass— Nah I'm playing but honestly your mug. You know people usually be like shawty look so unapproachable but I wanted to see you smile and when I did I became addicted you have the prettiest smile in the world." He said she stared into his eyes trying to find a lie but she couldn't.
"What's the first thing you remember noticing about me?" He asked looking down at her lips
"Your voice, I always hear you speak but when you got up and read that poem I was oh my gosh," she said while interlocking their fingers
"That poem was so beautiful, words mean a lot to me." She said he nodded already understanding
"You got my heart racing stop talking," he said grabbing her face
"My pretty baby," he said before placing his lips on hers the sweet simple kiss turned into a lip biting, tongue-touching kiss
"I like you so much fat mama," he said pulling away from the kiss
"You don't understand how much I like you, Kari," she said hugging him tightly
"We locked in," he said kissing her cheeks
"I'm ready to eat," he said rubbing his stomach
"We passed so much good stuff pookie I don't know what I want," she said before the operator opened their cart letting them out
"So Philly cheese steak or turkey leg?" He asked her as they walked back to the food stalls
"Turkey leg ouu and never mind," she said he held her hand as they walked to the best turkey leg stand, the line wasn't long so they waited
"Order what you want mama," he said nudging her once the person in front of her left
"Umm May I have a turkey leg" she ordered
"That's all you want?" He asked she nodded but he ordered what he wanted and what she would eat
The wait time wasn't long, Kari grabbed their food watching Zoriana reach for his hand.
"Imma get you to stop that," he said referring to her and not eating
"Kari I ate today," she said he shrugged walking them to an empty table
"Kamani you know and I know you threw up once I went to sleep, you're gonna hurt yourself ion want that," he said taking their food out of the plastic thank you bag
"Stop talking to me" she mumbled getting on her phone. He shrugged and started eating.
After a few minutes of quietly strolling through TikTok, she grew madder he was really not talking to her. His eyes only met hers a few times he couldn't care less about her attitude.
"You so perfect stop pouting," he said picking up his lemonade and taking a sip
"Comere," he said she mugged him coming to his side of the table while he wiped his hands with some wet wipes she brought
"I'm sorry baby but you need to eat and imma always make sure you're straight so get on board," he said sitting her on his lap
"I'll try" she mumbled unwrapping her turkey leg
"That's all I'm asking," he said kissing her cheek
"I don't like that you were ignoring me," she said shaking her turkey leg upside down to see if the meat would fall off the bone
"Cause you spoiled" he laughed
"Here pookie try this" She held some of the meat that fell off the bone up to his mouth, she ignored him saying she was spoiled because it was true and she had no come back
"That's good," he said before she tasted it
After eating they threw their trash away and started walking to the kiddie land because that's where most of the games were.
"Which one do you want mama?" Dakari asked pointing to the stuffed animals
"I want that one" she pointed at a big colorful stuffed animal that was pink and blue
"Come on," he said they played the balloon-popping game with darts and he won
"Which big prize do you want?" The person working the game booth asked
"The pink and blue one right there" he pointed to
"I wanna win you one come on I know what game I can win" She grabbed his hand as he held her prize taking him to the water gun spray game
He swiped the game card for them to play. He purposely let her win, smiling at her reaction to winning because she didn't notice he wasn't trying.
"Which one Pookie?" She asked
"Gimmie that red dragon man" he laughed at her excitement
"Dak" he heard Juju yell
"Juju don't be yelling my name bruh," he said grabbing his prize
"Juju look what I won him," Zoriana said while Dakari gave her the dragon
"Take our picture, lil boy," Dakari said giving his phone to Juju
"Hold on let me hold the bears right," she said but Juju just snapped pictures of them
"Kiss," he said they laughed before Dakari grabbed his phone
"Where everybody at?" Dakari asked Juju while the three walked away from the game
"On some ride, I'm not getting on no ride that folds down and gets put in a Uhaul," he said shaking his head
"Right Juju" Zoriana agreed
"What y'all ate? Everything starting to close I might just have to get a glizzy" he sighed
"Some barbecue, you ready for your funnel cake?" Dakari asked Zozo
"Yes I want the strawberry cheesecake and you should get the Oreo one so I can taste it" she suggested
"You gone lemme taste yours?" He asked she nodded as they approached the empty funnel cake stall
"Juju yo young ass can't run off like that I thought somebody kiddy-napped you," Chase said as him Daylen, and Bubba approached the three
"Y'all swear y'all my dad, I found Dak and Zozo," he said
"Hey Zozo, Wassup bitch ass boy," Chase asked Dak before they did their stupid little handshake
"You the famous Zozo?" Daylen asked smirking
"Yeah get outta ha face," Dakari said the girl just laughed
"I'm funny huh? Yeah I know I like to get under this big bitch skin" Daylen said shrugging
"Bubba star struck he seen his crush that's why his ass ain't talking," Chase said snapping his finger in front of the heavy set boy's face
"Bubba that girl be asking about you just approach her," Dakari said referring to this junior from their school named Paris
"Imma do it tomorrow," he said they sighed
"Tomorrow the weekend nigga" Chase said
"Zozo can you take a picture of me and my sons?" Juju asked they all handed her their phones when she said yeah
"Y'all gotta do some other pose" she laughed they just stayed still not smiling or nothing
"Here then" she shook her head giving them their phones back after taking about three pictures of the same pose
"We finna head out juju curfew coming up but lemme get a piece of this strawberry jawn," Chase asked Zoriana held the flimsy plate to him while Dakari ate his Oreo funnel cake
"You're so nice for feeding the homeless" Daylen said as the boys laughed
"We leaving see y'all later bruh" All of the boys did their handshakes and waved bye to Zoriana before leaving
"You ready to go? We ain't gone make it home until two" he said he made a three-hour drive into a two-hour by going over the speed limit but he plans to drive the speed limit back home he just wanted to be sure they made it before the ticket booth closed.
"I'm ready thank you for today I had so much fun" she smiled holding their stuffed animals while he held the funnel cakes, the fair was closing so a lot of people were heading to their cars
At two forty-five in the morning Dakari and Zoriana made it to his house. They stopped for gas and to pee in a cleaner restroom than the fair had upon their arrival. Dakari's parents and siblings were on an overnight field trip with the twins school, he didn't find out until halftime of the game. That's why his mom had made so many meal prep meals. The couple entered his home disabling the alarm, the boy locked the door before guiding the sleepy girl to his room. He doesn't plan on staying downstairs for long after he showers so he went down set the alarm and grabbed him and Zoriana some water bottles before going back to his room.
"Fat mama come shower," Dakari said taking his school gym shorts and a white tee from his dresser for her
She reluctantly got up from the couch at the foot of his bed taking her shoes off. While she did that Kari started the shower for her laying out some towels and soap.
"Everything ready I'm finna go shower in my parent's room," he said grabbing the black sweats he was wearing to bed after putting his shoes away
Dakari was out of the shower first he rummaged through his parent's candy drawer and grabbed a few pieces before going upstairs to his room. As he waited on Zoriana he decided to post on his story.
"I'm the type you like?" Zoriana asked after watching his story he posted her to Mama by Rob49 and 772 by YNW Melly.
"I posted it, come lay down I'm sleepy," he said laying close to the door
"Ouuu I'm about to make my caption that, Justice took a picture of me and posted it with no caption" she said before climbing over him to get on the other side of the bed
"You look so good in my clothes," he said his shirt fit her like those tight-ass shirts she likes to wear
"Pookies we should do a video tomorrow" she suggested while he liked her Instagram picture debating if he wanted to comment
"Kari I had fun today, thank you," Zoriana said as he locked his phone
"You welcome baby, and we can do the never have I ever shit" he shrugged
"That's a good idea but I wanna put you in the hot seat" she smiled
"You gone ask questions you wanna know," he said shaking his head
"Maybe just a few, we can film both and put them out at different times," she said turning his TV on she's lowkey afraid of the dark
"Why are you scared I'm right here," he said while she clicked on Netflix going to his account
"I just don't like the dark," she said while he cuddled into her laying his head in between her breast
"Do you want to watch Casper or Nowhere?" She asked
"Casper cause we finna sleep," he said, she clicked on the movie starting it before putting his remote down
"You smell so good" he mumbled while playing with her belly button ring
"I smell like you" she laughed she even had to use his spray deodorant
"I like that," he said hovering over her now close to her face
"Gimmie some love Pooh," he said before she pulled his head down to kiss his lips, she started the kiss nasty moving her tongue against his.
"Kari" she moaned feeling her arousal leak
"What do you want me to do fat mama," he asked sucking on her neck, making her wetter
Without saying a word she grabbed his hand and slipped it past the waistband of the shorts she wore moving it further down until his fingertips touched her soaked opening.
"Fuck, fuck, shit, Zozo we can't mama" he groaned he knew her fear of rejection would stop her from ever asking again, but he honestly felt like fingering her or eating her out would change their dynamic that's something you grow with someone to do. He felt like they weren't ready to go there. He knew if he got a taste his mind would never be right again he was already borderline obsessed and crazy over her.
"We got all the time in the world to touch each other Zoriana so it's not no, it's not right now" he explained holding her face so she wouldn't break eye contact.
