Elena's pov
Last night after I went over to the house to see nick I came back at around twelve after watching the movie and now it five in the morning and I'm going for a run,you may be wondering why I'm up so early because I have insomnia it's a pain in my ass.

I just got back from my run and it's only six and nobody up so I'm just gonna make some mafia calls while I can so I ring Adam
Ring....ring....ring...
"Hello"he said
"Hey Adam it me I just wanted to check on a few things with you"
"Ok what's up boss?"
"I just want to check everything is ok at the new base and that the Greeks haven't start anything with our mafias?"
"Everything is fine in the new base all set up and everything but someone has been trying to get into our servers I don't know who it is but they need to be more protected who do you want on that?"
"It's ok I'll do it and Im gonna come by later to check out everything myself I'll see you later" and with that I cut the call
So before anyone gets up I decided to start updating our servers because I don't need them asking how I know to hack there already too close to my identity.

An hour later and I've just finished with the update and just in time because everyone's just walking into the kitchen now.
"Good morning angle"Lia sqweeled and I was getting more annoyed.
"I tell you I'm calling nick to make sure he has a will before I kill him for that nickname"I said getting my phone out and everyone laughed before they heard the ringing.
"Make sure to put it on speeker"Alessandro said
"Fine"I said putting it on speeker as nick picked up.
"Hey what's up?"he asked
"Just wanted to ask you if you have a will?"
I said smirking
"Yea why?"he asked
"Because I'm gonna kill you for that nickname lias calling it me now"
"Ow come on angel you know it's true"
"That's funny because last week you told me the devil wouldn't come close to me without fearing for it's life"I laugh
"Yea but your stuck with it, your an angle when you want to be and I've been calling u angle since you where six"
"You never shut up do you?"I said sarcastically
"I learn from the best"
"Ok I have to go see you later"
"Bye"he said and hung up
Everyone's just staring at me so I cock an eyebrow at them and they start to sit at the table.
"I thought you where joking when you said you where gonna ask him for the will"Luca said
"No I was dead serious but I'm not gonna kill him because then I wouldn't have a best friend and besides I've know him practically all my life"I said
"Why does he call you angle?"Isabella asked
"No reason it's kind of a you know or you don't"I said because I'm not telling them
"Wait nick is that the nick that has a necklace"Franco asked like he's just discovered the secret of the century.
"How do you know who has a necklace?"I asked I'm my coldest voice
"Lia said why?"he replied so I turned to Lia
"You told them who has one who else did you say?"I asked
"I only told them of the main ones"she replied
"Who?"I asked
"Well when I told them what it meant they asked if anyone else had one so I told the yea nick,lilly and ace why does it seem like your so mad?"she asked confused
"Please tell me you didn't tell them how me met?"I asked desperately hopping she didn't because then they will know everything.
"No I just said who I know you don't want anyone to know"she said and I started to breath again and I just nod before opening my laptop again to tell my Italian location of treasure my jewelry and clothing business I'll be stopping by today.
"What was all that about?"someone said but I didn't look up to see who.
"Non of your business"I said as I got up and walked to the door but before leaving I got stopped.
"Ow everyone I forgot to tell you my father called this morning and there coming by to meet the twins with all your cousins.
"Do I have to meet them?"I ask
"Yes you do they are your family"he said I scoffed
"Thay are not my family and if I so desperately have to then what time are they gonna be here"I asked annoyed
"Around two why?"he asked
"Because I'm going out"I said starting to leave again
"Where are you going?"Alessandro asked
"I don't have to tell you"I scoffed
"I'm your father and you will tell me where your going like all my other children do "
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your daughter and your not my father"I spat every word .
"You are my daughter and you will respect me"he said in a stearn toan that if I wasn't me I would be shaking
"I will not I don't have a father and respect is earned not given"I said and left going on my way to the base.
Alessandro's pov
Elena just left and he words honestly hurt I am her father ,but i don't let it show and go back to eat breakfast.
"I'm sorry about Elena she's always like this "Lia said but I was still confused she's loving and kind and Elena scares me sometimes
"It's ok but why are you so loving and Elena acts like she has no emotions "I ask my curiosity getting the best of me
She just smiles before saying"I wouldn't take it to heart she's been like this forever but I wouldn't blame her for this she's been through a lot"
"But you have been through the same and your nice"Franco said
"I haven't been through half the hell she has because she made sure of that no matter what it cost her she always made sure I was safe and that I saw the good in the world "she replied with a sad smile.
I smile knowing she was protected but who protected Elena"who protected Elena?"Enzo asked before I could
"That's the thing nobody did she was the one who was always the protector she protected me,nick and everyone else that needed it and she doesn't trust anyone except me and Nick that's why shes like this,we didn't have the best life growing up but at least I've never had a scratch on me"she said and before anyone can say anything else she asked"if I tell you something you can't tell her I told you she doesn't know I know this"and we all nod so she continues "well after we where kidnapped we escaped when we where eight but before that I heard her make a deal with the kidnappers that she would take all of my punishments on top of hers if I was safe they agreed but I still know there where more and not only did she take my punishments she took Lilly's as well and nicks when she could,so no we haven't been through the same she got beaten three and four times a day for six years just so nobody else had to go through pain and juring this time I never saw her weak once she never cried never showed pain even though everyone knew she was in alot of it,now I've told you this you can't tell her you promised"I was just sat there shocked but Im also not surprised the first day we met her she got shot twice and acted like a stub toe.
"Who's lilly?"Matteo asked
"She was a little girl and we met her when we where kidnapped Elena took care of her even when she was too beaten to move she's like a daughter to Elena but we really see her after we eskaped Elena helped her find her family."she explained
"Why wouldn't she tell us herself what shes been through"Luca asked
"Because, she thinks it's not a big deal because she would do anything for me even die that what she tells me every time I ask if she's ok after she got hurt,and I know it's true because she has actually more than once"she said leaving me confused how did she died if she's here
"What do you mean she did?"I ask
"She's died for me before"she said briefly
"What do you mean shes alive now"Dante asked
"She may be alive now but when we where six she came back to the cell acting strong like always but she had at least eight shot wounds and all beaten and bloody her heart stoped for a minute but then she magically started breathing again not even needing cpr and then when we where eight and escaping she got me out and got shot along the way but after she got me out she went back to save everyone else she saved nick,lilly,ace and about a hundred more people they got out unharmed but she didn't she got shot over twenty times and stoped breathing as soon as she dropped the last person on the ground it took two minutes to revive her."she explained
"She really would die for you" Luca stated
"Yea she would but she would also kill me if she knows I told you this"she said and we nodded
"Ok but when she gets home I want you two in my office you need some rules before the grandparents come"she nodded before laughing
"Something funny"I asked
"I'm just imagining what Elena's gonna say to everyone one of your rules if you didn't know she doesn't like to follow them"she smiled
Two hours later I get a phone call
"Hello"I asked
"Hello I'm officer sam and I believe your daughter has been arrested " he said
"Why"I ask
"You should come down to the station"he said
"Ok I'll be there soon"I said and hung up the phone what the fuck has she done.
Just as I'm about to leave Dante asked where I'm going.
"The police station"I said
"Why"he asked
"Elena's been arrested"I said and left and he follows I look at him questioningly.
"I wanna come see what she did Lia was right she doesn't like rules" and we left
