Freya's POV
"Why are we playing on Christmas Eve?" I question as I pull underneath the stadium and head to my reserved spot.
Tonight's our last home game before the January friendly window and we're playing FC Seattle.
"I thought we were supposed to get a Christmas Break." I say.
"Because of that Winter storm that hit the east coast a couple weeks ago and pretty much fucked our games that weekend we have to play tonight." Raven says.
"Boo." I say as I park in my reserved spot
After I'm parked in my reserved spot, my girlfriend and I get out of the car then Raven I get our stuff from the trunk.
Once we have our stuff, I close and lock my car then we walk to the home locker room here in Rocky Mountain Stadium
As we're walking into the locker room, I look at our Line-up on the wall.

After I look at the line-up, I follow my girlfriend to our lockers then I put my stuff in my locker.
Once my stuff is put up in my locker, my teammates and I head outside for the pitch inspection.
When I get onto the pitch, I head to the center circle, stand on the center spot, then I do the Haka.

After I finish doing the Haka, I head back to the locker room.
When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, then I take out my nose ring, I take off my necklaces, earrings, bracelet, and my rings.
After my jewelry is off, I put my jewelry in it's safe then I put my jewelry safe, phone, and AirPods in my bag.
Once I'm jewelry free I take off my tracksuit and put my dark brown locs up in a ponytail then I put on my long sleeve forest green undershirt, my warm up top, and my game shorts.
I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my yellow boots.
Once I'm dressed Sophia comes over and sits in-between my legs.
"Hey Soph." I say.
"Hi Frey." Sophia says as she hugs my leg then she sits up straight as I begin running my fingers through her long luscious hair.
After a minute of playing with my friend's hair, I pull it back into the normal bubble braid she puts it in for games.
Once Sophia's hair is in a bubble braid, I lean down and kiss my friends head.
After I kiss her head, Sophia and I get up, walk out of the locker room, and head onto the field with the outfield players.
When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then we head back to the locker room.
Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my forest green jersey while Amaka does her last minute talks.
When the last minute talks end, we are told to head to the tunnel so I kiss my girlfriend and hug her before I head out to the tunnel
Once in the tunnel, I line-up in-between Sophia and Raven then I wait for us to be called out.
Minutes later we are told to head out onto the field for the prematch stuff so I follow Sophia out onto the field.
Once on the field we stand in line for a few seconds then we shake hands with the Red Stars players.
After we shake hands, we take a starting XI picture, Jaelin does the coin toss, then we do our team huddle before we head onto the field.
"Come one people." I mumble as I try to warm my hands. "Let's get this shit show going."

Raven's POV
"COZY YOU COME BACK HERE." Freya shouts as I watch her and Cosette run around the living room of the Nightingale home.
"MOMMY DON'T LET HER GET ME." Cosette shouts.
"YOU GIVE ME MY CHRISTMAS SNUGGLES." Freya shouts.
"Are they always like this on Christmas?" I ask.
Today's Christmas Day and I'm spending it with the Nightingale's.
We won our game last night 6-0.
FC Seattle played like ass.
"Oh yeah." Freya's Mom says.
"Every year Cosette "runs away" from Freya and "forces" her sister to chase her so she can get snuggles." Freya's Mama says. "It's so cute."
"HA." Freya says as she pounces on her older sister and tackles her onto the couch. "Gotcha."
"Oh darn." Cosette says then she snuggles with her sister.
"Aww." Myself, Everest, Sophia, Jaelin, and Freya and Cosette's Moms say.
"Shush." Freya says. "You're interrupting snuggle time."
"Come on you four." Freya's Mom says. "Let's go get the hot coco and deserts."
Myself, Everest, Sophia, and Jaelin follow Mom and Mama Nightingale to the kitchen where we get hot coco and deserts for us to eat and drink during our movie night.
We opened presents earlier and had Christmas dinner so now were watching movies the rest of the day and snuggling our respective ladies.
Eventually we have everything we need then we return to the living room.
"Alright you two." Mama Nightingale says as we get to the living room. "You've had your snuggles and your ladies are waiting with hot coco and deserts for you."
"Ooh." Freya and Cosette say then the un wrap themselves from around each other and get off the couch.
"Come on Frizzy." I say making Freya smile at my nickname for her then she follows me to a couch in the living room
One morning when we were at an away game, Freya forgot to wear her headscarf and she woke up with her hair all Frizzy and I found it cute so I started calling her Frizzy.
Freya seemed to really like me calling her Frizzy so I've kept calling her that.
Once at the couch we're gonna sit on, I set the hot coco's and desserts down on the end table then Freya and I sit down.
After we're sat down my girlfriend throws a blanket over us, I pass Freya her hot coco and plate full of desserts, then I grab my hot coco and plate full of desserts as the first movie starts.
The first movie we're watching is White Christmas.
As we're watching the movie I sip on my hot coco, eat my desserts, and snuggle with my beautiful girlfriend.
"Somebodies sleepy." Sophia says as she looks across the room at me and Freya so I look at Freya and see she's fighting off sleep.
"Here." I say as I grab Freya's cup and plate then I put it on the end table with my stuff.
Once Freya's hands are free, I adjust so I'm laying down on the couch then Freya lays on me and rests her head on my right boob.
"Sleep tight Frizzy." I whisper as Freya holds on to my left boob.
Freya mumbles something then her eyes flutter shut.
"I was waiting for that to happen." Cosette says as White Christmas ends.
"Does she always sleep after the first movie?" I question.
"Sometimes she doesn't even make it to the end of the first movie." Jaelin says.
"We've been working on her getting to sleep at a better time, but I guess that's not working."
"You can thank our Dad for that." Cosette says.
"Cosette." Freya's Mom says. "That's not for us to talk about with her."
"It's fine." Freya says. "She knows I hate him."
Freya's mom's sigh as I feel Freya squeeze my boob.
"Y'all can talk about it." Freya says.
"She and her Dad had a difficult relationship." Freya's Mom says.
"I was definitely his favorite." Cosette says. "I tried to get Dad to see how amazing Freya is, but for some reason she wasn't good enough for him."
"The only time Freya and her dad were maybe possibly together was during her sports." Freya's Mama says.
"No we were never happy together." Freya says. "He forced me to practice every fucking day and wouldn't let me hang out with my friends unless I went to you or mom and asked."
"This isn't a conversation for Christmas." Cosette says.
"You're right." Freya says. "Let's just enjoy today."
