𝘈𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘥𝘦'𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝
Rafe and I wander through the market place in search of a way out of this wretched place while my mind is deep in thought of my brother and if he's okay right now. An elbow nudges my ribs, pulling me out of my thoughts and I turn my head to Rafe who is staring at a couple across the road from us.
"Wait here" He declares, leaving no room for argument and I tilt my head a little in confusion but listen.
I watch curiously as the blonde woman walks away from her tall dark haired companion and Rafe confidently walks right up to the man who is looking at a stall. From where I'm stood not too far away, I can hear the whole conversation and so I lean back on a wall to observe my surroundings as not to look suspicious.
"Hey, man" Rafe taps the guy on the shoulder, giving him a friendly smile.
"Huh?" The guy mutters in confusion, turning to Rafe.
"Sorry. Sorry to bother you" Rafe beams at the man as if he's not the devil in disguise as an angel.
"What's up?" The guy smiles, letting his guard down immediately and I roll my eyes at his naivety.
"I have the perfect gift for your wife" Rafe lies through his perfectly white teeth "It's like a great price too"
"Yeah?" The guy grins excitedly at the thought of getting his wife something nice and I almost feel sorry for the idiot.
"So this, all through here, is where all the tourists shop, but the real deal is right back here" Rafe points up and down the tourist stalls before gesturing over his shoulder to the alley way that I'm stood next to "It's a great local spot"
"I don't know" The guy hesitates at the sight of the dark dingy alley and I don't blame him at all.
"Just trying to help you out, man" Rafe flashes a million dollar smile and pulls the sucker right in "Just real quick. You wanna?"
"Okay" The guy nods "Yeah, yeah"
Rafe guides the man towards the alley next to me and I turn my head to look at the stall next to me that is selling pretty floral dresses.
"It's got, like, some of the best, like, custom jewellery on the island. It's incredible" Rafe bullshits as I walk over to the stall to have a closer look.
I glance down at my dirty silk pyjamas with a frown before scanning the rails of pretty dresses and wondering if I'll be able to swipe one without the man realising it, but he's watching me like a hawk.
Suddenly arms are wrapped around me from behind and the smell of Rafe's expensive cologne soothes my surprise as I melt into his hold.
"Do you want a pretty dress, sweetheart?" He murmurs lowly and his voice is enough to make my ovaries explode.
"We have no money" I turn back and pout up at the Cameron man who I now realise is wearing the man from earlier's hat.
Rafe flashes me a sexy smirk and pulls out a wallet that I assume belonged to the missing man, causing me to grin in excitement. I turn my body and throw my arms around him, pressing a kiss to his cheek happily.
"Go on, pick one out" He encourages me.
I press another kiss onto his lips this time and before he can react I spin around to the rack of dresses. Without much thought I pick up a beautiful green dress that is covered in white flowers and pluck the wallet from a stunned looking Rafe's hand, skipping over to the man at the stall.
The man smiles at me, clearly happy I'm not planning on stealing from him then rings up the dress and I pay before he points at a curtain behind him that has a sign that says 'try on' hung up above it.
"Thank you, sir" I grin at him, ducking behind the curtain before Rafe can object.
I change from the pyjamas into the dress as quickly as I possibly can and then shove the old clothes into a small trash can on the ground with the tag. As I exit the curtain I'm met with a wolf whistle that I very quickly realise is from the seller and not from Rafe who is staring at the man with a murderous expression on his handsome face.
A giggle erupts from my lips and I wink at the man before quickly grabbing Rafe who moves towards him, dragging the eldest Cameron down the street.
"Fucking pervert" Rafe grumbles, still glaring back at the stall as I tug him away with an amused grin.
"Do you like my dress?" I question him to change the subject and his eyes quickly find my body as his mind is taken off the old man.
His lips tilt up into a smile and he uses the hand I'm holding his with to spin me around before bending down to place a kiss to my lips that has me weak in the knees.
"You look fucking divine, sweetheart" He assures me and my stomach flutters at his compliment, making me feel like I'm a flustered schoolgirl.

"So, what's the plan?" I ask, shaking the image of Rafe above me from my mind as I continue to walk.
Rafe takes the wallet from my hand and pulls out two ID's from it, handing them to me. They are from the man Rafe stole from and his blonde wife that is eerily similar looking to myself.
"We use these to get a ferry to Guadeloupe and figure it out from my family's holiday home" Rafe explains and it does seem like the best option at this moment in time so I nod in agreement.
"Is Lou there?" I wonder curiously and he rolls his eyes with a nod, making me grin "I can't wait to see that little shit"
"You seem more excited to see her than you were to see me" Rafe huffs as I hand the ID's to him, skipping towards the docks.
"That's because I am. Lou is my favourite Cameron by far" I tell him as he buys the tickets and we wait in the line.
"Am I at least your second favourite?" He asks me, seeming to accept that Wheezie is first which I find very cute.
"No, that's Sarah" I hum, knowing that I'm lying but he doesn't.
"Third?" He frowns.
"Definitely Rose" I chirp and his face drops.
"Tell me I'm fourth" He pleads almost desperately and I feel a little bad about his sad expression.
"I wish I could lie and say I liked your father even a smidge but I do not" I admit and he seems to perk up a little so I decide to lean up on my tiptoes to whisper to him "I'm joking. You're my favourite"
"Really?" A grin splits his lips and I nod, causing him to swoop down to kiss me feverishly as the ships horn blows loudly.
I giggle happily and gently push him off me so we don't hold the line up or get too carried away.
"Lou is a very close second though" I tell him, but his smile doesn't falter at all.
"All right. Come on, folks, all aboard to Guadeloupe" The man checking the tickets hollers as we reach him before he grins at Rafe and I "How you doing, guys?"
"Good. How are you?" Rafe grins back and I smile as the Cameron hands him the ID's and tickets.
"Living the dream" Ticket man chuckles, looking at them "You both got some sun since you took these photos"
"Too much sun" I joke about my sun burnt shoulders and face, causing the man to laugh with a nod.
"There you go, Mr and Mrs Tompkins" Ticket man hands Rafe the items back.
"Appreciate it" Rafe nods.
"Thank you" I smile politely.
"Enjoy Guadeloupe" He tells us.
