SHEHNAAZ
Standing in front of the mirror I checked myself out as I was ready for work I wore a saree today as I was in a happy mood. I ate an apple and yogurt for breakfast as I was dieting and I wanted to look good at my sisters wedding so for that I'm avoiding having junk or any food that might make me put up some weight and I need to keep myself fueled as I have diabeties .
Entering the office I saw people glancing my way because I wear saree rarely not quite often and gaining everyone's attention towards me made me a little uncomfortable. I saw laksh and misha near the lounge area having coffee I took a seat next to them making misha squeal.
" God!!! Shehnaaz you look so pretty if I was a guy or I was into girls I would have wifed you up right away "
Say's misha gushing how good I looked I giggle listening to her compliment .
" Let me tell you shehnaaz you look really pretty "

I say flipping my hair stating the obvious smiling, we heard someone clearing there throat turning around towards the elevator I found sidharth looking at us ' you know what scratch the us and me, his eyes pierced my heart burning a hole in it and I had to clutch my chest tight as I was falling down by his intense gaze ' I thought but nothing really happened but I could see he had clenched his jaw tight almost cracking it which I hope it happens soon.
" Shehnaaz I don't pay you to sit here and chit with you're friends get back to work now "
Spoke sidharth yelling looking at us I felt embarrassed as everyone were now looking at us excusing myself I headed to my cabin as I knew I would be screwed today. Taking sidharth coffee and files he had asked me to bring I place it on his desk , he was sitting on his chair going through some files I left the office without a word. I enter my cabin and found my phone ringing the screen showed rita aunties name ' why is aunty calling me?? At this hour ' , thinking so I recive the call.
"Good morning shehnaaz "
" Good morning aunty, how can I help you today ?"
" Arey shehnaaz I haven't called you for help but I have called you to congratulate you "

" Yes!! I heard sidharth and you are dating, I always knew you guys had a spark .. And that nalayak beta of mine wouldn't have asked you out , I would have asked you're hand for him from you're parents. I'm happy he did the job now I only want to hear you're engagement plan "

" I know you are shocked but you know what I'm upset with you, why wouldn't any of you say that you guy's we're dating last week when you were here you didn't speak a word but thanks to karan he said me the truth "

" I have called you to inform that I have hosted a small party tomorrow, I know it's a last minute decision but I had to tell my friends that finally sidharth has chosen such a wonderful woman like you. What the fuck!!!! I yell almost audible to the entire building, did I just hear that right?? I and sidharth are dating he is my boyfriend and I'm his girlfriend we are getting engaged going to a party where I would be introduced to there clan like what the hell!!! , I threw my phone across the cabin running inside sidharth office I open the door startling him he takes a deep breath finding me but quickly frowns looking at me as I walk towards his desk yelling at him.
" What the fuck was that?? "
" Huh?? What are you talking about shehnaaz?? And why did you enter my cabin without knoc.... "
" Cut the crap sidharth, did you just say to you're family that we are dating?? "

" Exactly what the hell?? Aunty just called congratulating me that finally her son aka you proposed me to be your girlfriend and she also said if you wouldn't have proposed me she would have asked my hand in marriage to my mother "
I say in a one breath glaring at him he looked confused taking in everything finally breaking the silence he spoke.
" Can you repeat yourself , you were too fast I couldn't grasp what were you saying "
I huff shooting daggers at him ready to pull his hair off his head which I did making him winch in pain.
" Shehnaaz what the hell are you doing??? Stop pulling my hair "

He says in a rigid tone making me lose my grip on his hair, I stand up straight calming myself down fixing my saree while he ran his fingers through his hairs brushing it and I felt a bit bad that I ruined his amazing jet black hair so I got my hand forward to help him out he moves back away from my touch making me frown he spoke.
" I said you to take your hand of my hair "
" I was trying to help you "
" Yaa right!! Mera baal ukhaad na mein, anyways I hate women's touch "

I say frustrated sitting in front of him exhausted, he sets his hair for good 6 minutes turning his attention towards me and I explained him whatever his mother spoke.
" I will kill karan for doing this shit, what did you say mom?? "
" I was speechless, she is even waiting to meet my mom do you even believe that they had meet each other like hardly twice they act like childhood buddies "
I say groaning he nods agreeing, we sat there in silence for a while thinking what could be done.
" Sidharth why don't you call aunty and say karan was drunk and was bluffing shit like usually and we aren't dating "
" That wouldn't work shehnaaz, my mom was anyway going to ask you to be my wife remember me telling her the truth will only trigger her to set us up together "
" Than what should we do sidharth?? I'm so confused I don't know what to do I can't take you out as my fake date too that wouldn't be good "

I speak disappointed as I remember that I had to leave my home town away from my family because of some rude people and my ex. Sidharth placed his hand on mine which was on the table gently squeezing it looking up I find him watching me .
" Shehnaaz I think we should talk through this and just agree with the fake dating, I know you wouldn't be happy about it but this is the only solution which can help me to stable my position as the CEO and you attending you're sisters wedding without any problem or embarrassment "
His words made me think maybe sidharth was right I couldn't let the people in hometown think I'm a loser again who they saw in the past I'm a changed human I can't let any of them have a satisfaction of seeing me broken or unhappy I nod agreeing to sidharth and spoke.
" Let's make a deal sidharth, I would be with you till you are handed the CEO post by you're father and after that we will part ways and this time you will let me go "
I say looking at him he took a while to answer me back but he nods speaking about the deal.
" Ok! We will marry, you will be my wife to the world , after the day I secure my position you are out of my site and life. And I would be helping you out as you're fake boyfriend or husband for your family and the world "
