i walk out my apartment going into my car, ready to go take a drive out. but honestly these past days i haven't stopped think abt destiny, its like i broke her heart with the bag situation. i already know abt her brother thing because she would always vent to me abt how much she missed him and i disappointed her foreal.
on my way, i get stopped by somebody calling out my name from behind me. i look back and see my chibz, i walk up closer to him.
"wys" chibz ask
"nun"
"why you out so late?, u dont have training tmr"
"dont worry abt that, thats not on my mind rn"
"alright" he says while lighting his spliff,
"the mandem are around there so you should come around"
i nod my head and start walking with him,
"you confessed to destiny yet?" he askes me as he releases the smoke,
"nah man, i messed up with her. i got her involved w something she wanted to stay away from" i told him
"with the spartans?"
"yeah, idk why he gave her that bag"
"dickhead" he said
"like how does even know her blud"
"fuck knows fam"
"just go to her apartment n apologize"
"ill go if shes up" i tell him,
"text her"
as soon as he said that i automatically took out my phone and texted her, about 10 times. at this time it was about 12 am. i check back my phone and see that she reponded to my messages.
"oi chibz she responded, ill chat to u later" i say to him
"alright, go and get ya gyal!"
i run all the way to the parking lot and head over to her estate.

as i put down my phone and lay down in my bed i hear some pinging on my phone,
"that must be from the gc" i say to myself,
i eventually pick up my phone to see jadon texting me,
"des"
"destiny"
"destiny imani carter"
"why u ignoring me"
"ansa yuh bbc phone"
"im sorry idk why tf i said that"
"i miss you honestly"
"please respond"
"i apologize for getting u in the mix, please just answer"

"what does he want now" i say to myself
he sends me a text again,
"open your door"
i jump out my bed and walk to the door,
i see him standing there looking hopeless, it was silence until he started a conversation,
"you going to let me in?" he ask
"i dont know, should i?"
"please" he begs
i sigh and open the door wider for him to come inside,
"follow me" i say,
i lead him to my bedroom and he sits on my bed.
"oh sorry, i should have asked first"
"its fine" as i take a seat next to him,
"i saw your messages, you look like you where feening" i say
he puts his head down and smiles,
"i know, i just miss my girl"
"girl?"
"best friend" he adds on
"im sorry, i didnt want you to get involved with what im doing"
i stayed silent.
"i didnt want you to find out because i knew it would break your heart"
"so why are you doing it?" i look at him
"because im one of the youngers innit" he says
"so your telling me football isnt making you enough money?"
"it is but i cant guarantee me playing it still in my future" he says and drop back into my bed
"well thats why you have me" i say while touching his hand,
"and your other friends of course" i add on
"yeah, but i only need you" he says in a sensual tone
"only me yeah?" i ask him
"mhm"
"show me" i tell him
"alright" he says smirking,
i move close to him and he grabs my waist and pulls me closer,
"you got protection?" i ask him
"yeah" he says
and i can guess you already know what happened next.
