The two talked until they heard people talking and people come up the stairs
"Kovur" Kaylani smiled standing up as Kovur smiled going and hugging her, she was wearing a white dress, white heels and a white button up shirt unbuttoned
"You look gorgeous" Kaylani smiled as Kovur thanked her
"Okay, im not sure if youve met everyone but ill re introduce you to everyone. This is Alex, Paige, Mia, Jackson, Thomas, Bryce, Jake, Sadie, Tabitha and Michael and then Jacob" Kovur introduced
"Kaylani and this is my best friend Dylan" Kaylani smiled as Dylan waved
"Okay, come and sit" Kaylani smiled as they all went at sat down
It was Thomas, Mia, Paige, Jackson, Jake and Sadie on one side with
Alex, Kovur, Jacob, Kaylani, Dylan, Tabitha and Michael on the other side
"So, Kaylani" Thomas spoke up after a while, they had order there food, eaten and talked a little, they were now waiting on dessert
"Mm-hmm?" she questioned looking at him
"I dont mean to be rude, but what did we do to deserve to go out with you?"
Dylan snorted a little before apologizing "Sorry, you just made it seem like she was some famous ass person or something" she shrugged forgetting her best friend was in fact some famous ass person
"Ignore her. Anyways, at the party the other night, some random ass dude was hitting on me, and kept grabbing my arm and stuff until Jacob, Kovur and Alex stepped in" she spoke looking at him as he nodded
"Im sorry that happened to you"
"me too, but thankfully they were around. So i just thought this could be a little thank you dinner" she smiled grabbing her drink
Flashback
"Ill be back!" Dylan called needing to pee as Kaylani nodded smiling, Charli had left the two a while ago going to see Landon
Kaylani walked to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water leaning against the counter
"Hey" some dude called coming over to her as she looked up
"Hi" she smiled a little
"Here alone?" he asked looking at her as she shook her head
"Uh, no. Im here with my friends" she spoke standing up straight "Im gonna go find them" she added going to walk past him and leave when all the sudden he grabbed her arm, she looked up at him confused
"Uh-"
"What are you doing, Asher?" Kovur asked coming over with Alex and Jacob behind her
"Nothing, just talking" he shrugged not letting go of her arm
"She doesnt seem like she's enjoying your "talking" Jacob spoke glancing at his hand on her arm
"Its all good, we're just talking" Asher said rolling his eyes as he yanked her closer
"Well i think she's done talking to you" Alex spoke up
"Come on, Asher, let go of her" Kovur said looking at Kaylani who was looking at his hand on her arm
"Its fin-" but he was cut off as Jacob punched him as the people around them gasped, as Kovur gently pulled Kaylani away
"You ok?" Kovur asked looking at the girl who was looking at her arm
"Hey, hey" she added grabbing her face making her looking at her
"Im ok" Kaylani whispered nodding
"Im sorry about that, i dont know who keeps inviting him here" Jacob spoke coming over to the two with Alex following
Present time
3rd person pov
"You guys should come over! And be in one of our YouTube video's" Sadie spoke as they all agreed
"You should, it would be fun" Paige smiled eating some of her brownie
"I mean, i might be down" Kaylani shrugged smiling a little
"Its your choice of course, dont let me pressure you or anything" Jacob whispered looking at her as the others were talking about something else
"I wont, dont worry. But it might be fun, i dont know if you can tell buy my only real friend is Dylan" she laughed a little
"Well, now you got ten more friends" he smiled looking at her
"Thank you for letting us stay so long, i really am sorry" Kaylani frowned helping Ryker cleaned up, it was now almost 1am, and they closed to 10
"Lani, dont even worry. You know i love seeing you happy" he smiled at the younger girl, she was like his daughter, he would let her stay a few hours past closing to see her happy
"I just feel bad cause now you have to stay later than what you're supposed to" she spoke handing him the rest of the dishes
"Its all good, I told Mariah what was going on and she was more than happy you were here and brought more people. You know we love you like you're our daughter, nothing's gonna change that" he spoke drying his hands off as he kissed the top of her head
"You know you're my fav Jenner and Kardashian" he smiled handing her a bag of left overs
"And dont i know it" she smiled going into her purse and handing him cash as he declined
"Come on, Ryker, you always do this" she called following him as he laughed at her
"Its on the house, Kaylani"
"But at least let me tip"
"You always tip way too much when i let you" he frowned looking at her
"Then think of this as an early birthday gift" she smiled as he sighed
"You're not gonna stop until i take it, huh?" he asked looking at her as she shook her head
"You know im not" she smiled
He sighed before putting his hand out as she smiled more placing the money in his hand
"No, no, this is way more than a tip" he complained following her as she put her coat on
"Ryker, please just take it. You wont let me pay, but let me do this. Spend it on yourself, or Mariah, or Annie and West. I know their birthday is coming up" she spoke grabbing her pure and the bag her gave her
"And i know they've always wanted to go to Disneyland, take them" she smiled going and hugging him
"Thank you, Kaylani" he spoke breaking the hug
"Dont forget to send me pictures" she smiled before leaving
