Abby's P.O.V
I looked at him and gave a sigh.
"Zac, I'm not sure of this and you know that. For a reason my entire family has forbid me from seeing her again." I said as I grasped his arm.
Zac met my gaze and gave the sight.
"What other option do we have? Abby, I won't let you die, I can't let you die." Zac told me.
"But what makes you think that it will work, I don't think that after all these years she suddenly changed her mind?" I asked him.
Zac grabbed my hand and I instantly relaxed when our fingers intertwined.
"Tell me about her." Zac told me.
I let out a small sigh.
"What is there to tell? My mom was devastated when dad was killed; she didn't know what to do so she just accused me of it and cursed me for it." I said in a low voice.
"But how could she curse you?" Zac asked me confused.
"Well, Zac you see my mom comes from a very long and powerful line of witches." I told him.
"You're a witch?" Zac asked me shocked.
I looked at him.
"Yes and no, it skipped my generation, Nathan has more of the magic in him which is why he was not eligible as an Alpha for our pack, he is a powerful warlock though, our pack needed a stronger leader when it came to being a werewolf and sadly he isn't strong enough." I told him.
"Then how come is he the Alpha of the pack where he found his mate?" Zac asked me.
"That is because once mated the Alpha had to step down and passed his power to my brother, my grandfather couldn't do that to him because the Moon Goddess was against it, I guess she had you as the Alpha of our pack and not Nate." I said as I met his gaze and smiled.
"I'm a good Alpha because I have you next to me." Zac told me.
I smiled at him.
"And I hope it stays that way Zac I really do but what if it doesn't work?" I asked him.
I had all the reasons to be afraid, I had been living in constant fear for the last years of my life wondering every single day if it was my last day alive. Why hope high when I knew it was going to end badly either way?
We stepped inside the room and the smell of sickness soon enveloped me.
There in the middle of the room tied up with heavy chains in her arms in legs she stood, her red crimson hair flew around in wild curls and her green eyes were full of hatred and anger.
She hadn't changed one bit.
"Zac, this is my mother Julie." I said as I met her gaze in which in return she gave me a small smirk.
Emma's P.O.V
"Are you sure you are okay?" I asked her in a wary tone.
My sister nodded and took another sip of water.
"It's just morning sickness, although I don't know why they call it morning sickness if it hits you every single god damn time of the day." My sister said with a groan.
I laughed at this; I had really missed my big sister.
"Here, take this, I use it to control my morning sickness." Lizzy said as she handed my sister a cup of tea.
"So, you're pregnant too?" My sister asked before she slowly started to drink the tea.
Lizzy smiled and nodded, I could see how her eyes glowed.
"Yes, but unlike you who I only will be pregnant for five months instead of nine." Lizzy said as she sat down in the chair and drank her own tea.
My sister glared at her.
"You, lucky bitch, you got it easy." My sister murmured.
Lizzy laughed.
"Really, I'm the lucky one? Let me remind you that you got more time to get prepare unlike me, I only have three more months before the triplets are born." Lizzy said.
"Triplets, whoa, Max really outdid himself this time." I commented.
"Hush or he'll hear you. His ego is already big enough." Lizzy told me.
"It's not the only thing that is big!" Max called out from somewhere around the house making us laugh, god she was married to a three-year-old in a man's body.
"So, what now, what do we do now?" I asked her.
Lizzy gave a small sigh.
"I don't know, Max has everything planned but what if this whole plan has loopholes, what if something goes wrong?" Lizzy asked.
I looked at her.
"Liz, I honestly think you are over thinking everything, just trust that everything will result just fine, we have a lot of help and I know for a fact that you will not go down without a fight." I told her.
Before Lizzy could reply one of the Alphas that had come to help Max entered.
"Luna, we found some of the vampires and-." He stopped talking and stared at my sister.
"What's wrong?" I asked confused.
Lizzy looked at my sister and then at the Alpha.
"Your sister is Alpha's Louis second chance mate." Lizzy simply said.
My sister stopped eating the donut and with half of that same donut poking out from her mouth she spoke.
"What's a second chance mate?" Diana asked confused.
Zac's P.O.V
"Look who finally decided to show up." Julie said with a small snarl.
I looked at the woman and then at Abby, they did not look alike.
"Both Nate and I look just like my dad." Abby said answering my unspoken question.
Suddenly Julie laughed, it was a dark laughed that made me get goose bumps.
"You came for help, didn't you?" Julie said with a smirk.
Abby frowned.
"I wouldn't say that." Abby simply said.
Julie glared at her.
"Really, because I can see it, you have a few days left Abigail a week tops if you're lucky enough." Julie said.
"Undo it." I told her in a clear voice.
Julie looked at me bewildered.
"What?" She said in a fake charming voice.
"Undo the curse, take it away from her." I told her as I took a step forward but Abby grabbed my hand pulling back immediately.
Julie looked at me and pursed her lips.
"Now why would I do that?" She asked in a cynical voice.
"She's your daughter; you just can't let her die!" I yelled at her.
"Watch me do it!" Julie snarled at me.
"What type of mother are you?" I countered back.
"A mother who watched her own daughter be the cause of the death of her husband, do you know how it feels to lose your soul mate, to lose your other half? No? Well don't worry, you will soon." Julie said with a small chuckle.
"This is not fair; you know very well that I didn't want my dad to die!" Abby told her.
"You just had to be just like him, from the beginning, from the first moment since you were born we knew it, you were a seeker just like him. You took up to be just like him, he called you fearless but to my eyes you were reckless and pathetic and look where your actions lead you to, your father's death. If it wasn't for you he would still be alive." Julie told her.
"Do you think I wanted him dead? Of all people you know that he was everything to me if I could change time I would gladly take his place and die." Abby told him.
"I could tell very well Abigail what you wanted from him, what you were to him, since you were born his undivided attention was all on you, not even when Nathan was born he stopped paying you attention, it was just you and Nathaniel, he forgot about me." Julie said as she glared at Abby.
"Are you seriously resentful for that? You say it as if it was my fault; you know for a fact that for an Alpha nothing is more important than their children, his family." Abby told her.
"I was there first, not you!" Julie yelled as she tried to lash out on Abby but was stopped by the chains.
"You say that I'm pathetic yet I'm not, you on the other hand are." Abby simply told her.
"Yet here you are begging for my help, but I see that yes you are in pain but it's not enough, what is instead of making you die I take that precious mate away from you, that way you will feel the pain I did when your father was taken away from me." Julie said.
Abby suddenly was in front of me.
"Don't you dare, don't you even dare to do that because I will kill you, alright?" Abby yelled.
"Oh, but that wouldn't be enough, I'll give you the worst pain a Luna can feel." Julie said before she materialized a red glow from her hands and shot Abby.
She fell down to my arms shocked but other than that she seemed fine.
"What did you do to her?" I yelled at Julie.
"You're welcome; I just made your Luna healthy again." Julie said with a small smirk.
With my help Abby got up and glared at her mother.
"What did you do exactly?" Abby demanded her.
"You will live but as time passes you'll see your real punishment, you said it yourself there is nothing more important to an Alpha than his family so what type of Luna will you be when you can't provide to your own Alpha an heir?" Julie said with a dry chuckle.
Abby stared at her mother until Julie grabbed her head and yelled crumbling down to the floor.
"What are you doing?" She yelled.
"I might not be a witch like you but little do you know what a seeker is capable of doing once it's healthy." Abby said.
Julie yelled in fury until her eyes rolled back and her body went lip on the ground.
Once she was passed out Abby looked at me and for the first time ever I noticed that she was shaking.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
Abby shook her head and grabbed my arm for support.
"No, I'm still weak." She confessed.
"Come on; let's get you out of here." I said as I grabbed her.
"Is she gone?" A voice suddenly spoked from the shadows.
I looked up and saw how a small pale girl with red hair walked towards us.
"Who are you?" Abby asked.
And I could tell that she was seeing the same thing as I, a pair of grey eyes just like hers.
"I'm Marie, your sister." She said in a small voice.
Liz's P.O.V
As soon as I saw them I knew.
"Today, it will be today?" I asked as I looked at Max.
He nodded slowly.
I looked at Braden and Dawn and hugged them tightly.
"Promise you'll be good and won't give grandma or grandpa problems, and remember that no matter what happens your daddy and I love you more than anything." I told them softly before my dad grabbed them and took them away.
It would be the best if they weren't here.
"Are you okay?" Max asked me.
I felt his arms wrap around me and shook my head.
"Why do I just feel as if I just said goodbye to them forever, as if this was the last time I would see them?" I asked him.
Max looked at me.
"Don't say that." Max told me.
"I can't help myself Max; god knows what will happen today. I have my children away from me and I don't want anything bad to happen to them. How can I protect them when they will be far away?" I asked him.
Max cupped my face and met my gaze.
"You will protect them by getting rid of the person who wants to kill you, who wants to hurt them." Max told me.
I nodded.
"I will." I said in a small voice.
"Everything is ready." Taylor said as he stepped inside the house.
I looked at him.
"Taylor what are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Did you really think I was going to leave you alone in this?" Taylor asked him.
I shook my head.
"No, you can't be here. You should be with Savannah and your son not here. This is not your war." I told him.
"You're my baby sister; of course, it is my war." Taylor told me.
"We're here." Abby said as she and Zac entered the house.
I looked at her.
"Abby are you sure, aren't you still weak?" I asked her.
I knew very well that she was dying; this was not the best thing.
"You don't need to worry about that anymore; Zac and I already solve everything." Abby told me.
"So, you're no longer sick?" I asked.
Abby looked at me and smiled.
"Not anymore, I'm fine now." She said.
"I hope I'm not late for anything yet." A guy said as he entered the house.
"Who are you?" Max asked as he shielded me from the guy.
"I'm Emmett." He simply said.
"Who, who are you again?" Zac asked.
"He's Selene's mate." Abby said.
Zac looked at her confused.
"But I thought you said you had killed him." Zac told her.
"I lied." Abby admitted.
"Selene is here." Max's beta said as he came from the backyard. "And she's not alone."
