Your POV
"What are you doing?" Zayn whispers into your ear as he wraps his arms around you from behind. You have been so focused with your laptop that you gasp a bit when he does it. "Searching for some new hairstyle ideas" you answer and give him a small smile "being trapped in a hotel room isn't nice". "No, it's not" he sighs and jumps over the sofa's backrest to sit next to you while you keep scrolling various blogs and pictures. There is so many beautiful and amazing hairstyles. The most gorgeous ones are braided hairdos.
"That's very cool!" Zayn points at a picture on the screen. "Yes, it is!" you answer him enthusiastically. But your face drops when you watch the tutorial video. It's way too hard for you and to do by yourself. "I would never be able to do that" you mutter half aloud. "I could give a shot" your babe says rubbing his chin. That was something that you weren't expecting. Your expression is probably quite weird because he starts to laugh when you turn your face to him. "Oh wow! Could you? That would be cool!" your mood improves "Have you ever done braids before?". Zayn shakes his head. "Not really. But you can teach me. We have loads of time. And I'm pretty good with my hands" he smiles. "Sounds like a plan!" you grin back. You lay your laptop onto the coffee table and rush to the bathroom to grab a comb, some hair elastics and a few bobby pins. As you get back you sit in front of Zayn on the floor.
A few hours later he has braided your hair multiple times to different kind of braids. He learnt everything quickly: the French braid, the Dutch braid, the Fishtail braid. He also tried a couple of more difficult versions of them. Now you two are scrolling through the pictures which he took of every braid. "That is awesome! You did a very excellent job with that!" you say to one. "And that looks so good on you!" your sweetie says to another. "We should keep doing this. I love when you braid my hair." you say and place a kiss on his cheek. "Yes, we should. Especially when we are not able to go anywhere." he replies pecking your lips.
Then you get a stupendous idea! "Ooh, you got an idea!" Zayn giggles. He gently pokes your side. "Yes, I got. How did you guess that?". "You had the I got an idea-face. But I have no idea what it could be.". You smirk mysteriously as you tell that you want to braid his hair. "Oh no! Not going to happen!" he shakes his head. But the tone of his voice reveals that he is joking. "Oh, yes it will" you play along and push him to sit on the floor in front of you. "Okay, okay! You win!" he gives in "what are you going to do?". You comb his hair a bit. "Not telling yet".
You braid two French braids, one at both sides. It takes only a couple of minutes from you to finish your work. "Tadaa! Ready!" you announce. Zayn looks your work through mirror as you capture a couple of pictures. "I look like Harry in Tampa! Without the bun of course, but still". You both burst in laughter. "Hey! You could do something to my hair for tonight show! Not this visible, a bit more hidden. Catch the idea?" he suggests. "That sounds great! And I think so". You undo the French braids and take a small section behind his left ear. You do a basic braid to it and secure it with an elastic. "Something like that?" you ask. "Yes, that was excatly my idea!"
