Twisted hearts
Poison running down my veins
A tangle of rope that wraps around me in colors of blue and red.
Cherry red
Deep red that takes up the space of your torso.
A deep red dress that bleeds on your skin
Auburn eyes that seep through the layers of vision and see right through me
How?
Because you're poison.
Red and blue and brunette head full of hair that ruffles like autumn leaves, like rain that drops acid of fire. It's orange and dirty, rusty and red, brown, and deadly.
You're so poison.
And I hate it
I can't have it anymore

This hazel twists and turns each time you stare into my eyes and then steal a glance at another girl.
So full of judgment.

It's too complicated for me
The purple rope is in a knot and it's stuck in my throat.
The red rope is wrapped around your hand, a seductive grin on your lips as you put it on your head like a top hat.

Lips scratch against my skin, ruff on my forehead.
I can't feel anything
You've brought me some food, leftover snacks, it's a nice gesture but it's a hack

Mine who was red is now blue
And yours that was purple is now red
Your orange hair is no longer a safe haven, a heaven with melodies of chocolate filled eyes.
