ADITI'S POV
I heard so many sounds from the living room indicating all their family members are there. Ma'am, I mean his mother came here.
"Be prepared for everything. Everyone is here. Do take care of everything. I don't want any complaint against anything. I've invited so many chefs. They'll take care of food. And the decorators are here, they'll take care about the decorations. And everything is done. You along with the manager just need to assure everything. Mark my words, I don't want any mistakes or complaints. Am I clear?" She commanded.
I nodded.
"Yes, ma'am." I said in a low voice.
She left.
Today is his engagement. I mean it's party. I saw the entire Mansion was decorated with so many flowers and lights.
Wonderful will be an understatement. I mean it's so awesome.
Wiping the tears which were flowing from my eyes, I walked towards the kitchen.
"Aditi, can you please help me with this?" Ramesh uncle asked holding a tray of drinks in his hands.
"Sure, uncle."
He smiled.
I took the tray from his hands and walked towards the guest.
[ Her Outfit ]
Mita smiled as soon as she saw me. I smiled back at her.
"You look so gorgeous." She exclaimed.
Everyone looked towards me.
I hate this! This attention!
I glared at her to which she smiled sheepishly.
Keeping the tray of drinks in the glass table I made my way towards the kitchen.
"Are you insane? Why did you shout like that?" I asked glaring at Mita who followed me to the kitchen.
"I just got excited."
She said gave her ever charming smile.
This girll!!
I smiled.
"You are also looking good."
I said and she smiled.
"I know."
She said flipping her hairs. I chuckled so did she.
"Come, the function is going to start soon." Mita said.
I smiled and said:
"Ma'am have given me a lots of work. I've to focus on it. At the time, I'll be there with you."
She nodded and left.
I took a deep sigh.
"Can you please help me with this Vegetables?" Asked the chef.
I nodded with a small smile. Some people wearing the attire of the chef were also cutting vegetables. I joined them.
After sometime I was done with the vegetables which were given me. Others are still cutting. I was about to help them just then Ma'am came.
Everyone including me stood up.
"Everything should be ready in one hour. The function is going to start soon."
She said to which we all nodded.
I was going with the drinks to guest.
"Nothing for me?"
A male voice came from behind. I turned around to see Rishabh Bhai.
"You didn't ask." I raised my eyebrows.
He chuckled.
"Now I'm asking."
I extended the tray of drinks. He took one from it.
"They're talking, about the marriage soon. Maybe in two weeks. Akhil's dad wants to make him marry so soon."
He said sipping his drink.
"T-two w-weeks?" I tried to be normal but it didn't go as well.
"I heard it from Akhil's dad." He shrugged.
I faked a smile and left from there.

[Akhil's Outfit]
He was standing on the dais with his to be wife.
He held her hand and slide the ring in her finger.
Mita who was standing beside me hooted. I mean everyone hooted.
And it's her turn to slide the ring in his hand.
The room was filled with hoots and claps.
Riya, she was looking very beautiful. She is looking so happy.
She hugged and kissed his lips.
I can't.
I saw Ramesh uncle and made my way towards him.
He told me to set the tables and chairs doing the dinner for the guests in the garden.
The dinner session began. They both were sitting together along with his cousins.
"Is it hurts?"
I gazed beside me to see Rishabh Bhai standing.
He extended the handkerchief to me.
"Bh-bhai, ai-aisa k-kuch nahi.." I tried to be normal but again failed.
"Aditi, don't you know lying is a bad habit?"
Tears which I was controlling till the time, made their way from my eyes.
He pat my head.
"I got it."
"Aditi, you can trust me with anything. If you can ask me anything, I'll help you for sure." He said.
I nodded and wiped my tears.
"Did you do the dinner?" I asked him.
He shook his head.
"I'm very hungry." He said keeping his hand on his stomach.
I chuckled.
He sat on the nearby table. I served him.
I glanced him and he was having his dinner peacefully.
I did my dinner with the other servants. To be honest, the food was good. But I didn't feel like having it. I kept it on the table itself and walked towards the kitchen.
I saw Subhash chacha was doing the dishes.
"Chacha, I'll do it. It's late. You can leave." I said.
"It's Okay, dear. But I will do it." He said.
He was doing the plates and big utensils. And I did the small ones helping him. Even though he said no.
He remind me of my father. He talks very casually and friendly just like my father.

Atlast the long tiring day, I'm in my room. I changed into a comfy clothes. Mita brought the dress which I wore today. It was beautiful, indeed.
I denied her so much. But she being she, threatened me to wear this.
She's such a sweetheart.
I gazed the full moon via the window of the room.
Flashback..
"Didi, my friend told me that moon and lovers are related. Are they?"
Ishan asked Aditi looking out of the window of his room.
"This what you're talking in school, eh?" Aditi scolded him.
"Please, tell me na.." he requested.
Aditi chuckled.
"Ishu, it is said you'll see your soulmates face in the moon in their absence." Aditi said ruffling his hairs.
"But I can't see Jahnvi's face in the moon.
He frowned but immediately bit his tongue.
Aditi raised her eyebrows.
He hung his head low.
"Now tell me, who's this Jahnvi?"
"Vo- didi vo- no one." He said.
"Ishu, tell me." This time Aditi said politely.
"Vo didi, she is studying in 2nd class. She is so beautiful. She talks like you. Her voice is so melodious. Her smile is very cute. And her eyes it's like a doe. And she-"
"Bas bas!" Aditi stopped him.
He felt embarrassed.
"You became a big boy, wah!" Aditi said.
He blushed and hugged her.
Aditi kissed his head. She made him sit on her lap.
"It's like, when you love somebody truly and your thoughts are only about them. You cannot stop thinking about them even after trying. You cannot see them struggling. You want to help them in their difficult times. It's what called love. And you cannot fall for beauty. It's the heart. It's what most important." Aditi said.
"You've all these towards her, then you'll see her face in the moon." Aditi said and kissed his cheek.
He giggled.
He also kissed her cheek.
"And, you stop stalking that child."
Aditi scolded and stood up leaving a frowned Ishan.
Flashback Ends..
I smiled remembering everything.
"Don't know, what's he doing now about it."
I tried not to remember when she kissed him. But it's happening infront of my eyes again and again.
I closed my eyes and don't know when I slept.

So the official engagement was done. It was just fixed before. And it's happening. And I think I lagged it a lot.
