They got wet.
Really wet.

'How can weather change so fast?'
Was the only thing Jisung was thinking.
The project partners stood under the small roof of the ice cream shop, which due to the weather closed a while ago.

Jisung sighed he should've looked at the weather report this morning.
He shook his head. He remembered a phrase his dad always said to him when he was younger and smiled.

'We aren't made of sugar, are we? Even tho some people are almost as sweet as it. So, Jisungie, even tho you are just as sweet, you don't have to be imitated by it.'

Was Jisung afraid of the rain when he was a little kid?
Yes.

Nowadays, when he thinks of his younger self staring at the rain with big eyes, he thinks of himself as an idiot. But can you blame 4-year-old Jisung? He just found mini drops of water coming from the sky freaky.

He shook his head again and looked to his right seeing Minho looking at the sky. As if his staring would make the rain go away, Jisung chuckled at the other.

"I think we should just run Hyung."

Said Jisung, looking at Minho, waiting for an answer. It still felt odd that he called Minho Hyung. In their little question game, they found out that Minho actually was a year older, and as soon as Jisung asked, "Should I call you Hyung then?" Minho didn't even hesitate to reply with a "Yes."

He quickly noticed that he answered that question almost too fast and just quickly changed the topic, still a bit embarrassed.

Minho looked at him in shock. He really didn't want to get wet. But he has his leather jacket that at least helped a bit against the rain. But Jisung only wore a shirt. He would get absolutely soaked and sick.
And Minho definitely didn't want that.

"But you don't even have a jacket."
He protested, furrowing his eyebrows.

"It's okay. We're not made out of sugar, right?"

Jisung said with a small smile and wanted to take a step into the rain when he was pulled back by a hand.
Minho looked at Jisung and took his jacket off.

"Minh-"

"No buts, I really don't want to get wet, but you'll get sick. So we gotta share."

Jisung looked at him with confusion, share? What?
Minho stood a little closer to Jisung and put half of his jacket over Jisung's head and back, doing the same for him.
Now they were both under minhos jacket jisung looking at Minho with big eyes.

"Let's go, okay?"

Asked Minho, looking at Jisung.
Jisung just nodded, holding eye-contact.
They just looked at each other, the rain reflecting in each other eyes.

Minho was the first to break the eye-contact and gave Jisung a slight smile before walking into the rain. Jisung followed as their little self-made. umbrella with Minho's jacket did its job.

"Hyung.."

"Yea?"

"Where are we going...?"

"Oh... Uh.."

Minho forgot about that, where should they go now?

He didn't want to go to his place.

But before he could even answer, Jisung spoke up.

"Do you maybe want to go to my place...? Since it's still early -"

"Yes. I'd like that."

Said Minho smiling, and walked next to Jisung till they arrived at a bus station.
He was really thankful that they didn't have to go to his place.

All Jisung could think of was
'shit, what if mom is home... OR BRIAN HYUNG'. His mom being at home was one thing, but his older brother?
Hell no.

Suddenly, Minho tapped him on his shoulder, pointing at the bus that had just arrived. They got into the heated bus, finally defrosting a bit.

"I live a bit outside of the city center, but we'll be there in like 15 minutes."

Said Jisung smiling, Minho nodded and looked outside the window.

The bus wasn't really full, so they easily found seats. The bus driver was already starting the engine when Minho out of the blue started choking, pointing at something outside.

Jisung looked at him with worry when he saw what he was pointing.
Right next to the bus station was Yellow Wood Café, a cozy Café that just had opened recently.
And who was sitting in there made Jisung's jaw drop.

"SEUNGMIN?!?!?"

"hH-wAnG?!"

Said Minho, still choking.
It wasn't the fact that the two were in the Café together. They both knew that the pair were hanging out today, too.
But seeing Seungmin hug Hyunjin happily, and Hyunjin looking like a human tomato.
Was indeed an eye's widening sight.

The bus driver started to drive away, Minho and Jisung looking at each other with shock.
They broke their shocked stares and fell into laughter.

They didn't even realize that the next bus stop was where they had to get out when Jisung quickly stood up, pulling Minho with him.

They got out of the bus and began walking towards Jisung's district.
Still, of course, using their 'umbrella' since it was still raining, the sun hiding behind the clouds.

They walked into Jisung's neighborhood, and like on cue, the sun slowly started to come out again.
Reflecting on the small houses, making them look straight out of a fairytale.

The colorful flowers and trees in front of the houses made them look even prettier. Jisung loved this sight.

It felt like home. Good memories came back, like when he was drawing with chalk with his friends as a kid.

They were around 6, and Felix had visited them around Easter time.
Seungmin, Jeongin, Felix, and Him were drawing hearts, Easter bunnies, and different kinds of flowers.
When suddenly Felix turned towards them, asking if his bunny was cute.

The three looked at him with wide eyes and started laughing, Felix looking at them confused.
Before he could say something, Seungmin pointed at his body and face, still laughing.
Felix was completely covered in white chalk.

Maybe lying down while drawing wasn't his best idea.
And his Mom wasn't that happy either.
But the memory made all of them smile.

Jisung smiled and looked at Minho, who stopped walking.

Minho looked at the neighborhood in amazement.
They didn't look rich or like they're drowning in luxury.
But they had a sense of comfort.

He never really felt something like this at his home.
If you could even call it home, for him, it was just the place he was living at.
There was no such feeling of home.

Jisung smiled at the older and spoke up again.

"Hyung, we're almost there."

Minho nodded as they walked towards a specific house, jisung taking the lead.
They stopped in front of a house with a white facade and a gray roof.
The many flowers around the house made it look very beautiful.

"We're here."

Said Jisung, smiling at the boy next to him.
