A month had passed, it was now late July.
Most notably, Harry's birthday.
Spencer smiled to herself as she put the candles on his cake, Sirius looked for the lighter.
He lit them before carrying the cake upstairs to their room.
"Happy birthday to you" Spencer and Sirius started to sing as they walked toward the bed.
Harry slowly woke up, a smile on his face as he realized what was happening.
"Happy birthday to you" they continued. "Happy birthday dear Harry, happy birthday to you" they concluded the song.
"Make a wish" Spencer said.
Harry looked up at both of them before he closed his eyes and blew out the candle.
"Make a good one?" she asked, Sirius put the cake on a table nearby.
"Mhm" he nodded.
"Good" she smiled. "Happy birthday" she handed him a gift bag.
"You didn't have to" he looked down at it with a soft smile.
"Of course I did! I have to get my favorite boy a gift on his birthday- you only turn fourteen once you know" she made him take the bag.
"I thought I was your favorite boy" Sirius walked back to the bed.
"I'm number one" Harry smiled, taking a look as what was inside the bag.
"I guess I'll settle for number two" he winked at her.
She shook her head, "sorry, that spot is taken my Fred" she put her hand on his shoulder. "Better luck next time" she smiled before turning back to look at Harry.
"By the way, we both picked out what's in there" she mentioned.
He took out a similar shirt Spencer owned, the beige National football tee in his size.
He looked up at her with a huge smile before hugging her, "there's more in there" she laughed.
He looking in the bag and found a football keychain, Spencer showed him a spell in which it turned into a life sized ball.
He also received new comic books, and a picture her grandfather took of the three of them before he left back to London.
He stared at it, smiling at the memory.
"Thank you" he hugged Spencer.
"Thank you" he repeated as he hugged Sirius.
"Now, it's a custom to take a bite out of your cake so" Spencer spoke as Sirius brought the cake toward Harry.
"A bite!" his eyes widened.
Spencer laughed, "yeah, as much as you want" she nodded.
She lifted her camera wandlesly, it was ready to snap the moment.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, now hurry, I want cake for breakfast" Sirius encouraged.
Harry chuckled and slowly brought his face up the the cake.
Spencer pushed his face in, frosting getting all over.
Although shocked, he laughed as he covered his face. Sirius laughed as well.
"It's also tradition that a loved one pushes your face in. Don't ask me why, it just is" she laughed.
With his thumb he ate a bit of the frosting, "yummy" he nodded.
"Let's go eat some cake downstairs" Spencer stood up before walking to the dining area.
Sirius cut three slices and handed them out. Harry made sure to give the staff on duty cake as well.
"Manuel came by earlier" Spencer noted.
Manuel was a neighbor, he lived two doors down and was Harry's age.
She was glad he'd made a friend. She feared for his boredom, even though Harry swore he'd always had fun with her.
"Did he?" Harry said excitedly.
"Yeah, he asked if you could come over and play" she smiled. "Do you want to?"
"Do we have anything planned today?"
"Not really."
"Can I?"
"Of course you can" she took a bite of the cake. "I guess I'll entertain Sirius this morning" she joked.
Harry laughed.
"I can entertain myself, thank you very much" he spoke.
"Totally" Harry nodded. "I put the board games back in the closet" he whispered to Spencer.
She chuckled.
After they finished eating, Harry got dressed and made his way to Manuel's house. A security guard went with him.
Sirius decided to shower whereas Spencer decided to tan.
After thirty minutes of being on her back, she went on her belly.
"Hey" Sirius suddenly spoke next to her, she didn't hear him walk up.
"Hey" she replied, turning her head to face him.
Sirius showed her a bottle of sunscreen.
"Am I too tan for your liking?"
"I just want to touch you, is that too much to ask for?"
He undid her bikini top, pulling on the string slowly.
Spencer hid her smile by facing the other way.
It happened suddenly.
They weren't in a relationship, they didn't have a label.
But whatever it was...
It began with a look.
She didn't know it was look until the third time he did it.
She didn't know what to do about it.
Then a touch.
It became multiple touches.
His hand grazing hers.
His arm around her back.
It all truly started when they went out one night to a local club, she remembered she had taken too many shots and found herself dancing with a random man.
Sirius kept looking at her, the way her body moved against the guy she was dancing with.
Something about his eyes.
She liked that he looked.
Then she saw, from the corner of her eye, that suddenly a woman had gone up to him.
Taking the attention away from her.
She didn't like that.
It was the tequila, Spencer rationalized.
He had that stupid flirtatious smirk on his lips but he wasn't looking at her.
Before she could stop, she found herself wondering how his lips would feel on hers.
The woman blushed before looking to the side, moving a strand of hair behind her ear.
It was her fault, really.
She left the man in the middle of the dance floor and walked up to Sirius.
"Up" she said, not acknowledging the woman.
Sirius looked up before quickly standing and following her.
"Four shots" she asked the bartender. "Tequila."
The bartender poured them, she swallowed two and Sirius quickly followed.
"Let's go home" she took his hand and lead him outside.
The club was close, Roman didn't need to drive them.
It was three, possibly four, blocks away.
Two security guards followed them from behind.
"Are you ever going to tell me why we need security?" he wrapped his arm around her.
"No" she giggled.
He chuckled, shaking his head as they kept walking.
Once inside the house, Spence grabbed two water bottles for them.
They sat on the couch in the living room, Spencer saw that it was 3 in the morning.
She looked at Sirius, studying him.
His hair.
His face.
His arms.
His hands.
His tattooed chest.
She noticed he smelled nice.
He was probably wearing a ridiculously expensive cologne.
"Want to do something stupid?" she asked, breaking the comfortable silence.
It was stupid.
They were drunk, horny, and in the living room.
"Depends" he looked up at her.
He's his best friend.
He's Harry's god father.
"Huh" she put her water bottle on the table in front of them.
She then got on top of him, his legs in between her thighs.
Her thumb traced his cheek, then ran it across his lips.
She felt his sharp inhale.
"Depends on what" she asked.
"How stupid a thing is" he answered softly, his hands found their way to her waist.
"The stupidest" she spoke.
Sirius ran his thumb on the band of her jean shorts.
"Me" she clarified. "I'm the stupid thing."
"Can I kiss you?" he whispered lust filled, looking down at her lips.
"Say please" she got closer to his face, she could feel him grow beneath her.
Spencer was brought out of the memory by his hands, he was massaging her back.
"Harry will be back any second" she muttered, his touch relaxing her.
"Best be quick then" Sirius moved his hand down to her butt, spreading the sun screen all over.
"You're so insatiable" she chuckled.
"Yes, yes I am" he spanked her lightly before laying down.
It was casual sex.
They talked about what they were comfortable with, what they weren't, what this was, and what this wasn't.
She reminded herself that she was young, and it was stupid- no, not stupid... childish to believe she'd marry her first love.
She was having fun.
She deserved to have fun.
They were friends, very good friends, and there were no strings attached.
"What are you thinking about?"
Your best friend and how I thought I was going to marry him, wasn't the best response she thought.
"I'm going to Paris with Andrew" she turned her body, her back on the ground again.
"And he's...?"
"A friend" she rolled her eyes. "Jealous much?"
"Not jealous, more like possessive" he shrugged.
"I'm not yours" she said in a sing-song voice.
"You moan my name, I'd say your partially mine" he smirked.
She smacked his chest.
He grabbed her arm, then placed both of them above her as he got on top of her.
Her nipples hardened as her breeze blew on them, her bikini top rose to her chest.
He ran his tongue on the center of her lips.
Suddenly, they heard Harry talking.
He was walking to the yard.
He quickly got off of her and tired to hide his growing boner.
She giggled, "poor you."
Spencer sat up and tied her bikini.
"Shut up" he shook his head with a smile.
"I'm back!" Harry exclaimed, running toward them.
"Hey" she smiled. "How'd it go?"
"Muy bien" he smiled.
(Very good)
"Good. I'm glad you had fun. Are you hungry?"
"Starving" he nodded, patting his belly.
She chuckled as she got up, "come, there's some fruit on the table."
Sirius stayed where he was, laying on the grass.
"Manuel was talking about a fair opening up next week, I was wondering if we could go?" he asked before taking a bite off a strawberry.
"Yeah" she nodded. "That'd be fun" she added with a smile.
"Sweet."
"Are you up for an outing?"
"To where?"
She shrugged, "there's a dinosaur park we could go to."
"Dinosaur park?"
"Yeah it's just big dinosaur statues" she chuckled. "I used to go all the time when I was a kid, only if you're up for it though, then after we can get dinner."
"Sure" he nodded. "Sirius, are you coming?" Harry called out.
Sirius got up and walked toward Spencer with a smirk, one Harry missed since he grabbed another piece of fruit.
"I don't know, am I coming tonight Spencer?"
"Not tonight, right now" Harry answered.
She shook her head, biting down a smile.
"You're welcome to join us, of course, only if you're not too busy with one of your 24 hour girlfriends" she grabbed a grape and popped it in her mouth.
"Oh don't worry about that love, I cleared my schedule just for you" he winked.
"Harry, please tell your god father to stop flirting with me" she looked at Harry.
"Yeah Sirius, stop flirting with her" he got in between them, pushing Sirius a few steps back.
"Cock block" he muttered.
"Sirius!" Spencer exclaimed, covering Harry's ears.
"Oh, come on, I'm sure he's heard worse" Sirius rolled his eyes.
"What's a cock?" Harry asked him innocently.
Sirius' eyes widened.
Harry broke out in a laugh after a few moments, then turned to face Spencer, "got him good didn't I."
"You're not funny" he shook his head.
"You almost gave him a heart attack" she gave Harry a high five. "Go take a shower, you're all sweaty" she pointed back to the house with her thumb.
Harry walked into the house.
"You know, I'm pretty sweaty too. We should do what we did last time in the shower" he raised his eyebrows.
"In your dreams" she rolled her eyes, walking into the house.
"You have no idea" he smirked to himself, staring at her butt.
When they arrived to the park, all Harry could do was look up.
The statues were tall... ridiculously tall.
He stood under every dinosaur and posed for Spencer's camera. He also, to Sirius' annoyance, read the descriptions the statues had.
"You guys are a bunch of nerds" he commented.
"Shh" Harry and Spencer said simultaneously as they were still reading.
Sirius rolled his eyes and walked away.
Once they finished, they couldn't find him.
"Boo!" he spooked them from behind.
"Agh!" Harry got behind Spencer.
"My knight in shining armor" she laughed.
Sirius handed her a popsicle, then one to Harry.
"Thanks" she smiled.
"Anything for my favorite 24 hour girlfriend" he winked.
Harry elbowed his ribs.
"Omph" Sirius groaned.
"Thank you Jamie" she put her arm around his back and they walked away from Sirius.
