dear person i miss
your poetry is like a midnight kiss
i feel like you're here when i read it
it's just that little bit of you, that's it
feels like when little starlights hit
our atmosphere, our sky's little gift
a gift just like you, i gotta admit
that the title starlight kind of fits
because you're a light in the darkness
sometimes most glowing to ever exist
a golden glimmer from the universe
just that it doesn't hurt or burn
like those shooting stars' glimmers
