it had been 3 days since she had hit him, and 3 days since he was even more persistent on hitting on her.
"i can but-"
"then, no, daehyun. no. i do not want to go out with you, and i do not want to get to know you," her voice got louder this time, making a few heads turn their way
renjun and seohyun would usually be around her when this would happen and would help her out, but at the time yasuko was alone. both of her art friends had classes while she was working on an assignment in the library.
"but why-"
"i don't need a reason why! i just.. don't want a relationship right now and if you say you'd like to be only a friend, it wouldn't help your situation by being close to someone you like!"
daehyun eyed her in surprise, igniting a spark of hope in the girl that maybe, just maybe the gears in his brain had started to rotate for once.

"she already said no, dude. get over it and scram." the voice of the person who landed their hand on daehyun's shoulder sounded. it was familiar, a little too familiar.
"hi donghyuck," yasuko greeted, "as you can see I'm trying to get this dude to stop annoying me for 3 days but he doesn't know how to listen and respect someone's space." she singled out the confused boy by pointing at him
haechan tsked, shaking his head. he walked over to yasuko's side and threw his arm around her shoulders
"she doesn't want anything to do with you my dude, I'm sorry." he gave him a fake sympathetic look
"are you two..?" the shocked boy looked back and forth between them
"yes, we are. bye." yasuko grabbed haechan's hand that hung from her shoulder then led him out of the library, taking a deep breath of relief when they made it out
"thank you so much, hyuck. i hope that dick brained idiot tries to get his brain ti function now," she said, making him laugh
"he's kinda attractive, though" he started, "but not as much as me." he looked down and winked at her
she rolled her eyes, "sure."

he came up unannounced at her dorm, dropping the question as soon as the door opened and holding out the rose he held in his hand, eyes tightly shut.

"dude," that voice, "i think you have the wrong twin." belonged to han seohyun. not han subin.
he slowly opened his eyes, wanting to bury himself in a pit of shame and embarrassment at the sight of seohyun.
she calmed down her laughs and patted his shoulder.
"she's in her room." she said before walking away to carry on with her own work.
jeno speed-walked to subin's room out of embarrassment, knocking on the door and pushing it open when he got permission to get in.
this time with his eyes wide open.
"subin," he called out to the girl who was stressing out because of her workload. but his voice distracted her and she whipped her head to look at him
"jeno!" she exclaimed, "is everything okay? why are you-"
"im here to ask you to be my girlfriend," he said without any second thoughts. "please?" he added.
"I don't know, I'll have to check with my 6 other wives to see if i can take time out of my life for you," her tone was playful as she walked towards him with a big smile on her face
"really? do i need to fight your wives so i can have you to myself all the time?" he played back once she was close enough
"do you think you can beat my wives?"
"i know i can"
"hmm, i don't know, they're pretty strong."

she finally laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug, "I'd love to be your girlfriend, lee jeno"
he wrapped his arms around her too, her feet lifted off the ground momentarily as he lightly spun her before putting her down
