Of the rain
Falling against my bare shoulders
Wetting my black tank top
As I stare into your eyes.
"You came back," I say, and you give me a smile
"I did. For you," he replies, and kisses me
Like he used to
But then, I wake up
I'm all dry
And you
Are not there.
