It had been months since Amelia (scenty) or any of the contestants still stuck on the plane had felt true hope. Airy had stripped it from them like grated cheese, his challenges, his apathy... it all felt inhumanly sick.
How could an object be so cruel? Amelia consistently pondered, never able to reach a straight answer. What ever happened to Airy to make him crave violence such as this. Not only that, but every chance of escape the contestants devised, was only met with deadpan laughter and sarcasm from the large invisible entity. Amelia had almost lost all sense of belonging... she felt more like a toy than a person. I guess you can say, her fire burned out. (HAHA CANDLE JOKE)
