Lili's Pov
'Ok so what did just happen-' I thought as I speed-walked down the street.
I never thought that a quick walk on the field would end up in me giving a girl my number-
She seemed very sweet, and gosh she's pretty, her blue-green eyes just drove me crazy. Her long, brown hair, full of little leaves from the floor, i found it cute.
I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. I realised that my mom still needed her medicine- shit.
I quickly answerd: "Oh hello mom, I'm soo sorry I'm on the way to the pharmacy"
"Hello sweetheart, it's alright, just be a little quicker next time. What were you even doing so long~?", she asked with a sassy tone.
"Oh I met a really nice girl!" I said as I somehow started walking even faster.
"Oooooo~" She teased.
"Stop it- we just met mom-" I said, annoyed.
"Yeah yeah, that's what he said, and guess who ended up being married for 23 years after that?", mom continued.
"Omg- I'm gonna hang up istg-", I said as I felt my cheeks getting hot.
"Well, you better don't, if you don't wanna be spammed with cristmas GIFs".
"Fine fine, just please no GIFs-" I said as I walked into the pharmacy.
"Imma get your medicine real quick, I'll be home soon, cyaa"
"Cya, can't wait to hear about that nice girl that you jUsT meT" she playfully said.
"I'm hanging up" i said annoyed as i clicked the red button on the phone screen.
"Soo, a nice girl hm? Tell!" Jay said.
He was one of my only friends in this town. He workes here, in his father's pharmacy.
"Well, I mean we met just that one time, but i feel like it could become something tbh-" I rambeled, "I met her on this flower field I sometimes go to, she's like very nice, and pretty, and fun to talk to- Oh and did you know she likes cats! Just like me!"
"Sounds like you get along, that's amazing! Now, what medicine you need, I wanna go home already", he said jokingly.
"Paracetamol" I said.
"Alrr, 1 sekond" He went into the backroom (backrooms :0) as I started daydreaming about that girl again- Wait, I didn't even know her name- Goddammit, well guess I'll just ask next time.
Jay came back with the meds and his stuff, I didn't realise that it was end of work already-
'Yeah ok it's litteraly dark outside. Am I gonna have to walk in the dark? ahh-'
I paid for the meds and we started walking to the exit.
"You need a ride? It's pretty dark-" Jay asked, sometimes it's creepy how he can almost read my mind-
"Yeah, that'd be nice", I said as we both walked out of the building.
With one click the door was locked, with another the car was open, and with a final slam the cardoors were shut and we were sitting there, jamming to some songs on the radio.
I felt another buzz in my pocket, it was an unknown number.

~Hey, it's me, the girl from the field :>
I smiled at the little text.
-Hiya! Yea I remember you!
~Btw- I didn't ask for you name soo
~What's your name?
-I'm Lili, what's yours? :0
~I'm May :]
'May, such a pretty name- it fits her'
-Beautiful name, it fits you
~Thanks :>, I like yours alot too, it's almost like the flowers, lillys.
-Yeah, what are you favourite flowers btw?
I may or may not want to give her flowers tomorrow when we meet-
~I love lavender flowers, they smell so good

-Who knows who knows~~
A loud beep came from the car, oh we're already home-
"Get out you fucker, I wanna get some sleep tonight." Jay said.
"Correction: make out with your boyfriend-", I said as I grinned.
"There's no need to call me out like that jeez-", he said as I got out of the car.
We both said out goodbyes and I made my way to the door. It was an old blue coloured wooden door, we really should get a new one to be honest-
With a squeaky noise, the door opened, and I saw my mom standing right behind it with a big grin on her face.
"Hi, and can I at least come inside-", I said, pretending to be annoyed.
"Nope" She said, and that's where the questions started-
"Soo, you gave her your number right? How was she? Was she fun? Why did she go to the field? Does she like cats or dogs, cause she better like dogs, I'm allergic to cats so we can't have any of those. So? Heyy answer mee. At least one of them?", my mom said.
"Ehmm, yes, amazing, fuck yea, she likes the field aswell, cats, sad.", I listed.
"She sounds very cool! I'm glad u get al-", she stopped and clunched her teeth in pain.
"What is it? Mom, you ok?", I asked as I ran over to her.
"Yeah yeah, i'm ok, just accidentally put my hand on my wound", she said.
"Mom, your surgery was like 3 weeks ago, isn't the pain supposed to get less? Maybe you want it to get checked out?", I asked with worry in my tone.
"Nono, don't worry, I'm fine-", she brushed it off, she always does.
I barely persuaded her to go to the hospital after her rib hurt for like 3 days straight. Turned out she had a broken rib that over this time slightly damaged her lungs, so now she has problems breathing. 'I just wish she would take more care of herself-'
I thought as i slowly went upstairs, to my bedroom. As I got to my bed, I opened my phone.
Three new messages from unknown number.
~Oooo, well I'm single, so like~
~I think imma go to sleep, I have a lot of work to do tomorrow, can't wait to see u :]
~Good nightt :>
I smiled, she's so sweet.
-Hehe, I am too
-Alrighty, good night :]]
I quickly changed the contact to: "May :>" and shut my phone.
A few minutes later I felt myself drifting off to sleep.
