Delilah's POV
I was in the den doing my work since I'm homeschooled and I saw Gianna come into the den
"Abby told be to get you for a ballet private "she told me as I looked at her confused
"Is not here?" I asked her tilting my head slightly as I closed my folder
"Yeah she's out sick so your going to be with Haylee today"She told me as I nodded my head and put my folder in my backpack and went to the bathroom to change into my ballet wear

"So you're gonna start in second position then your going to do a pirouette into a jete then stop on a tendu"Haylee told me as I did what she told me
"Don't wobble when you do that jete"Haylee told me as I finished and I nodded my head
"Go take a minute to get water then comms back"Haylee told me and I left the room and went to the den to go get my water bottle
~pyramid~
"Here we are in another studio,another week. We need to learn a new group routine. And this is tough. We have to do it today, and there are props. Now, I want to reflect a bit on the past two weeks. I keep telling you guys, you have been given an amazing opportunity. You've been hand selected to go across the country and learn a new number each week and do these competitions. And you are not stepping up to the plate. I want to see energy,enthusiasm,fun. If you don't want to do it, there probably a hundred other kids that would love to be in your shoes right now. So I need to see motivation. I want you to win. This is my reputation on the line, it's my name. But by now it's also your name." Abby told us
"So I'm going to start now with Paige. Moving on Mackenzie, Nia. Next we have Chloe, Brooke,Maddie and on top of the pyramid is Delilah"Abby said as I had a smile on my face

"Delilah you will have a solo, so will Maddie and Chloe. And since the last time these two girls danced together they had a perfect score so I'm gonna see if they can do that again, so Chloe and Delilah are doing another duet. And Brooke and Paige will also be doing a duet. You guys will be dancing as friends not fighting like sisters"Ms Abby said as me and Chloe hugged each other when she said we were going to do a duet together
Maddie Interview
"I'm really sad that me and Delilah don't have a duet together but I'm happy her and Chloe get to have a duet at nationals together"
she said to the camera
End of interview
"Everyone is going to be in the group routine, even you Mackenzie. Every single one of you is an important part of this puzzle. In a group, routine everybody needs to pull their weight. And I'm telling you what, we need to win. All right let's get moving" Abby said as she dismissed the moms and we started stretching
~9:22pm-~
I was in studio D with Gianna and she was going over my solo with me until my mom came to pick me back up since she had to go to her office building for a meeting.
Gianna had me go over my solo 7 times and she made sure my solo was flawless which made me feel confident with my solo winning Nationals
"Hey Lilah sorry I'm late"I heard my mum say as her and Abby came into the room
"Hi mummy"I said as I smiled at her and I gave her a hug and she kissed my forehead
"Go get your dance bag and put your shoes on"My mum told me as I nodded my head and went to the den
~Sarah's POV~
"How is she doing on her solo? Do you think she's gonna win?"Abby asked Gia
"Yeah she's been working her butt off, she told me that she's gonna come here at 7:15am to take privates and work with me on her solo"Gia said and she had a small smile on her face
"She's gonna win, I know it. She works harder then any of the other girls, every minute she's either stretching, working on things she's not that good at or she's asking me for privates which is what I want for the other girls but they don't want it as bad as she does" Abby said as me and gia nodded our heads in agreement
"What's her solo about?" I asked Abby
"It's this contemporary dance about this astronaut who's trying to reach the stars and get on the moon but she has to go over these obstacles to get there"Abby told me
"Oh that's gonna be beautiful"I said
"I'm surprising with her grandparents since they live in London"I said happily
"Oh she's gonna be so surprised" Gianna said smiling
"How was your meeting?"Abby said which made me roll my eyes and Gianna laugh slightly
"They want me to go on another business trip for the whole summer and I'm trying to see who she can stay with after nationals"I said
"I can take her, she can spend the summer with me if that's alright. I'll let her come to my ultimate dance competition as a guess judge time from time and I'll get her auditions" Abby told me which made me let out a sigh of relief
"Thank you so much abs"I told her as I hugged her
"You know she's always welcome to stay with me"Abby said as we both pulled away
"I'm ready mum"I heard Delilah's voice as she had all her stuff
"See you tomorrow Ms.Abby and Gia"Delilah said as I told them both goodbye and we went to the car and she sat in the back seat
~7:30am Delilah's pov 5 days until nationals~
"Let's get started"Gia told me as I nodded my head and started going over my solo
Delilah's interview
"My favorite part in my solo is the last part were I'm reaching in the air with a smile on my face and turn to the judges and I proudly walk off the stage" I said to the camera
End of interview
~5:33pm in the den~
"How long have you been here?"maddie asked me as she took off her boots and all the other girls were just talking and getting into their dance wear
"Since 7:15am"I said chewing my gum
"Oh wow"she said surprised

"Okay,ladies the piece is called 'beautiful'. And what's it about is not how pretty you're going to be in your costumes,not how pretty your hair is, but what's on the inside. And taking a good look in the mirror not at what you see, but the internal mirror"ms Abby told us
We were using mirror as props which was really cool
After we finished running the routine a few times Abby dismissed the other girls and it was just me and Chloe
"You're duet is a lyrical routine and it's called 'one last time'. Is this the last time you guys have a duet?, I don't know."Abby told us as we started doing the dance
"Chloe keep that leg straight as you do that leap!"Abby yelled at Chloe as we leaped in sync
~in Abby's office at 6:30pm~
"So your mom told me that your gonna stay with me after nationals,so right after awards your gonna be staying with me because your mom has this big business trip so your gonna have to pack a whole bunch of clothes and all of your dance stuff and your resume folder all of that" Abby told me as I nodded my head and I gave her a hug
"You have a ballet private in a few minutes so go get changed" Abby told me as she had a smile on her face and she nodded her head
nationals
I was practicing my solo with Gianna a few minutes before it was time to go backstage and I was a nervous wreck
"Look at me"my mom said as she had both of her hands on my face
"You can do this, I know you can, ms.Abby knows you can, Gia knows you can and you know you can"my mom told me as she wiped the tears off my face
"Don't cry, you're gonna do amazing I know it" my mom said as I nodded my head and she kissed my cheek
~backstage~
I was backstage with Maddie and I was super nervous
"Breathe"Maddie whispered to me as she squeezed my hand
We both took deep breaths together and I hugged her right before we went on stage and I did my secret handshake with her
"Love you madz good luck" I said and kissed her cheek as she went on stage
I wasn't watching Maddie because I didn't want my anxiety to worsen so I was going over my solo making sure I don't forget it and used all the corrections Gia gave me
Once Maddie came off stage I gave her a big hug
"You did so good Maddie"I told her as she also had a big smile on her face
"Thanks lilah" she said
"Good luck chlo you look so pretty and your gonna look like a princess on stage"I told Chloe as she nodded her head and we both hugged quickly as she went on stage
While I was watching chloe I saw that she froze on stage and my heart dropped for her and I felt so bad because she looked so lost and nervous but she ended up finishing her solo
I felt so bad for her I wanted to just run up to her and tell her it was okay but I had to go on stage
While I was dancing I felt like all my anxiety was gone and I really just tried my hardest during the dance
~at awards~
"And our Nationals finals titlist winner. And miss starbound 2011 is Delilah Burkleley" I jumped up and had a big smile on my face as I grabbed my award and they put a crown and a sash on my shoulders and I saw my me maw and poppy who waved at me and I waved back slightly
"How does it feel to win this?"The announcer asked me
"Spectacular" I said smiling still as everyone was clapping for me and I was so happy

When we went to the dressing room Maddie hugged me tight and I hugged her back
"I'm so proud of you lilah"maddie whispered in my ear as we both had big smiles on our faces
"Good job Delilah!"Abby said as she and Gia both gave me hugs
"Thank you" I said and I saw my mom come in the room and she hugged me and I felt very happy
"I told you, you could do it"my mom told me as she had that 'proud mom' look on her face
Delilah interview
"It feels awesome because now I have 11 crowns" I said happily
End of interview
We then changed and got ready to the group costume and we went backstage
"I love you guys" I said as they all chorused 'I love you too' back as we all went on stage and did the group dance
After we did the group dance it was time for the duets and me and Chloe were really anxious and nervous
"We got this" I told her as we both sighed and went on stage
I felt that we did really good and I hope we win this
"In first place in duo/trios we have 'one last time' with 298 points" the announcer said as me and Chloe smiled and we walked up there and got our

"And In first place in groups we have 'beautiful' Abby lee dance company!"the announcer said as confetti was all over the stage and we were all smiling and Mackenzie was holding the award
~after nationals at the Pittsburgh Airport~
"We're gonna go to LA and spend the rest of the summer there" Abby told me as I nodded my head and we got on the plane and I was surprised we were in 1st class and I sat in the window seat and I was eating this delicious pasta
