Ron's POV
" What happened to you?? You have been looking tense ever since Ruhan left. " I asked.
" Nothing!! It is none of your business." She said without looking at me.
" Tell me, Mahi !! Did he say something to you?" I asked and she looked at me.
" Ruhan said a few things, but I did not understand them. I asked him to explain all that but he said, he would explain everything but he needed to do something before that. And I am thinking about just that... What is he going to tell me? What does he need to do before telling me? Why couldn't he tell me today itself?? "
" Oh, I want to beat him, right now, I need to talk to him as well... Apparently, he has hidden something important from me as well. And promised that he would tell me later. What is he up to?? " She heard everything and shrugged.
"By the way, why are you not eating, aunty is so worried," she asked.
" I won't... and you know the reason. If you can serve food to him, why not for me?? "

" The food is here, let's have food. " Mom said.
" Mom, please I don't feel like eating. " I said.
" Are you not feeling well? Shall I call Roohi Vikram or Gautam? "
" No!! Please just let it be. I am not a kid anymore. I know that food is important but I won't die if I don't eat for a day or two. " I said and left the room as I didn't want to create a scene.
I went to my cabin and called Ruhan, but his phone was switched off. I was getting annoyed.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. I saw Mahi entering the room.
She came to my cabin??
" Yes?? " I asked.
" Come to your mom's cabin, please," she said standing there at the door itself.
" I don't want to eat, I am busy. " I replied looking at my computer screen.
" How can you do that??" She asked.
" It is none of your business. Since you are adamant, I am stubborn too. "
" It is not about us... Your mom is so tensed, she is not eating food either and is so worried that she has tears in her eyes." I closed my eyes and shook my head.
" Fine!! I will go and talk to her but I will not eat. " I got up and went to Mom's cabin and saw her. She was upset. I went to her and sat down, kneeling in front of her.
" Mom, I am sorry, I was a bit upset about something. Please have your food, or I have to call Dad, he will leave everything and come here to make you eat food with his hand. " I said.
" What happened to you son? " She ignored what I said and caressed the side of my face with her hand. I caught her hand and kissed it.
" I was upset with something... So I don't want to eat, please Mom, don't force me to eat. I will eat later on. But you must eat. " I said looking into her eyes.
" How can I eat if my son is not eating?? Tell me what is bothering you," she asked again.
" Mom, Dad will punch me for making you worry. Have mercy one, eat food. Or I will get a good scolding. "
" You deserve it. " Mom said.
Just then I felt a movement behind me and I turned to see Mahi serving food on a plate and passed it to me. I looked at her but she looked away.
I offered the food to Mom, but she made me eat a bite first. I smiled and ate it.
" Finish this whole food, and only then I will eat. You know very well that I am more stubborn than you. Even your dad can't make me do, what I don't want. So finish every grain on this plate." She said. I nodded and took another bite and offered her parantha with paneer. She shook her head but I made her eat. Mahi served another plate for Mom and gave it to her. Mom took the plate and told Maii to serve food for herself as well. She nodded and did that. We all have the food.
" So, what is being done today, and what is left? " Mom asked and Mahi told her everything.
" ... And please select the wallpaper and the kind of furniture you want. Then I will go and get it. " Mahi said to us.
" How can I tell, what kind of furniture I want? I will have to see the designs. So I need to check the options. You suggest, a few designs and then I will select out of them." I said.
" Okay, fair enough!! Select the color theme and the wallpaper first. Then I will go pick some most suitable designs and send them to you and you can choose one of them. Same way, I will send you some pictures of other furnishings, art pieces, and other accessories. " she said.
Megha Aunty also came to see the work in progress and was pleased with the work, they had done by then.
" Okay, let's see the options for the wallpapers. " I said and she showed some of them. And we suggested different ones for different areas. A subtle one for the main areas and different ones for Mom's cabin and mine.
" Good, By the time my team makes the required changes in the mall n area as per new layouts, I will order these and now I will go to the furniture makers, They even make exclusive personalised designs as per the need or choice of their clients," she said and got up.
" Mom, don't you think it will be easier and quicker if I go with her and check them out myself? I will send you the pictures for approval and we can purchase them instantly. " I said.
" Absolutely!! I was going to suggest the same thing. " Aunty said before mom could and mom just nodded.
" But Mom, I need to see the products of all the designers before selecting a few. It will take a lot of work and he is too busy to even eat anything. There is no point in him accompanying me. I will shortlist a few designs, and he can select from them. " She said.
" Oh, no, it is a part of work. And we can discuss the designs if there is any confusion. I can select some designs and you can give your expert opinion on them, or vice versa, but it will definitely save a lot of time, energy, and effort. " I said firmly. She glared at me but I smiled.
