summary: takes place in the future, a horrible accident happens.
fizz: this has been a stressful day.
blitz: ya, but it will be worth it.
barbie: it is the twins birthday after all.
verosika: their 18 year birthday to be exact.
fizz: well, this is going to be the best birthday ever for them!
blitz: hell ya it will be!
verosika: it feels like it was yesterday when i met them, 10 year old boys.
fizz: i remember when i was teaching ryder new tricks.
blitz: and how i taught zack to fight.
barbie: good times, remember the concert ryder did?
fizz: when he got that fake tattoo? you looked ready to murder everyone.
barbie: well, i murdered his ex boyfriend first.
verosika: before i got the chance to calm you down.
they all laughed.
ozzie: the cake is ready!
fizz: be careful with it!
ozzie: don't worry fizzie, i'll be careful with it! the candles aren't on yet.
fizz: good.
ozzie places the cake down, it looked amazing.
fizz: wow, this cake looks wonderful, i know that for sure that the twins are going to love this cake.
ozzie: I hope they love it.
blitz: They will love it, Now let's go get them.
Everyone leaves the room, then ryder and zack appear.
zack: whoa, this cake looks so delicious, i want to eat it so badly.
ryder: me too, i want to eat it, but we need to wait.
zack: i have a surprise for everyone.
ryder: huh?
then he holds up a box of fireworks, ryder pales.
ryder: um, are you sure that's a good idea?
zack: ya, trust me.
then he finds a lighter, smirking.
zack: this should work.
ryder:'nervous'
zack: what's wrong?
ryder: i'm not sure if lighting these fireworks up is a good idea.
zack:'turns the ligter on'now, this should be fun!
he lights up the fireworks, but ryder notices something.
ryder: zack, wait! these fireworks are!-
then it explodes, the box flies up and it shows it was a box of defective fireworks.
meanwhile, it shows everyone getting some stuff ready.
ozzie: and-
then they heard an explosion, they all fell to the ground, they winced from pain.
fizz: what the hell?!
they see a figure crawling out, they had so much burns, blitz picked up the figure.
then another figure runs out, holding their eye from pain, blood dripped down from it, whimpering.
barbie: ryder? what happened?
the figure stayed silent, but nods.
fizz: we need to get to the hospital, now!
later.
ryder had a bandage on his eye, he frowns and looks at the person next to him.
the other boy was bandaged up, he was unconscious.
ryder sighs and touches his horns, revealing how the shape was a bit different, most of them were burned off.
ryder wasn't actually ryder.
but zack, he sighs as he stands up.
zack: i know i should have said something, but i.....i don't want to get in trouble, i'm scared.
he strokes his brothers hair gently.
zack: please forgive me.
his horns and ryders horns burned, they looked so similar to each other that it was hard to tell which twin was which.
zack: this is going to hurt a lot, but the burns aren't that bad.....the eye hurts like hell but....i'll be ok.
he frowns at ryder, especially at the bandages around his brothers body.
zack: i'm sorry, you need to be me for a while, i'll try to clear my name until i figure out what to do.
he lays down and falls asleep.
he didn't know how this was going to change his and ryder's life for a very long time.
