When Namjoon walked into the dining area, he was shocked to see Yoongi in the apron, feeding kids even Hoseok and SeokJin with his own hands… Taehyung took a hand full of rice and put it in front of Yoongi's mouth "Dadda you also eat" he said tilting his head to a side looking like the most adorable being which he is along with baby Jimin and Jungkook.... Seeing the middle child's actions both youngest and oldest took hand full of rice and placed it in front of Hoseok and Seokjin
Yoongi chuckled and opened his mouth for Taehyung to feed him... And the same goes with other two... Namjoon was watching the entire scene with mixed emotions... He is the only outsider in the family because his brother looks way too happy to be with them... He doesn't remember when was the last time he saw SeokJin laughing and smiling this wide... Namjoon was brought back to reality when Hoseok called his name... "Joonie... Come have a seat"
Namjoon gave him an awkward smile " Uhh... It's okay you guys eat... I am not that hungry... I will eat later '' there is no way he can stay there like a black sheep... It's better to sleep on an empty stomach then to sit there ruining those kids happy moment because obviously he being in the same room as his mate means nothing but a battlefield
"Why? Your highness will get infected while sharing a same table with us?" Yoongi mocked while feeding Jimin the kimchi
"Can't you shut your mouth for once? I am just not hungry... Why do you have to convert all conversions into arguments... that to in front of kids?" Namjoon replied being annoyed as hell
Jimin stared at the taller male with unreadable expression
"then eat" he said, before opening his mouth wide for his Dadda to feed him
Once Jimin said it the other two toddlers gave an intense gase towards him... At first Namjoon was taken back by the toddlers behaviour but then he smiled at them " I am not hungry little ones I will join some other time?" Yoongi sighed... "Let him be kids... Our highness is way too prideful for that... Who needs more rice?" he asked and immediately 5 hands went up in the air…
Namjoon rolled his eyes and left... Whatever Yoongi says doesn't matter he is a pure outsider among them... and being an introvert he is... There is no way he can make himself comfortable where Yoongi is feeding his best friend and brother while they are enjoying the second eldest's company to the fullest... Once he entered the room tears started to fall from the corner of his eyes... It's not been a few hours and he is already missing his parents like hell... He took his phone out and called his eomma but she didn't pick up so he called his appa who cut the call before it properly rings with a deep sigh and a heavy heart he walked towards the balcony letting his tears flow
After a while, he heard footsteps approaching him... He was about to snap thinking it was Yoongi but when he turned around... He noticed SeokJin with a plate full of curry and rice... The older male held his brother's wrist and pulled him inside of the room... Seokjin made Namjoon sit before he started mixing rice and curry... "I have always warned you that you should never be mad at food, haven't I?" The older male asked as he brought a spoon full of goodness closer to Namjoon's mouth
Namjoon pouted but opened his mouth to enjoy the goodness " I called them so many times but they didn't receive the call for once... Am I the only one missing them? Are they happy to get rid of us?" He couldn't help but burst into tears... In all these years they have never ignored him like how they are doing right now and it's hurting him even more than this entire alpha Omega shit "Well... I can't say that things will get better because it never happened to me... They have ignored me ever since they realised that I will be an Omega... So, yeah... But trust me... You will start feeling better soon... Just take time and think of it as a vacation where you don't have to follow our parents any rule... You can eat anything you want, go where you want, wear your fav clothes, you are your own person... Take it that way" SeokJin said while feeding his crying baby
Namjoon sniffed like a little baby"But to be a better person one should always be disciplined, right?" He asked before biting another spoon of goodness "No really, you are not an animal to be trained... It's your life... You should be the one to decide things for yourself" Jin made the younger male eat all the food before passing him the glass of water
Namjoon gulped the liquid in one go " Was that the reason why you stopped being around us and started ignoring me?" His eyes and nose were all red from crying so hard... Except the time in his 5th standard when he wanted to go out with his classmates for sugar treating or the time when he wanted to play for the basketball team but his father rejected it saying he should focus on his studies only or the time when he wanted to take a break from studying but he again got scolded saying he shouldn't be independent or the time when he got -A in a class test and his father didn't talked to him for a month to show his disappointment... Oh boy... He never realised he is such a cry baby until now "I agree on the first part... Yes, it is the main reason also how they treated me like dirt while flaunting my beauty in front of their high class assholes... You know, mom never helped me with my heat or anything... She wasn't there when I needed her the most, always too busy for me and doing nothing in general... I got my first heat in the subway and if it wasn't for Yoongi... Taehyung asked chasing his elder twin while the eldest among the toddlers suddenly stopped and held his younger brother's wrist and they both jumped on the bed... He passed a pillow to his younger twin and both started their pillow fight while Jungkook was pouting for being excluded from the fun
"stop pouting, little one... You are my best baby... Papa will take you out on Papa-baby date... We won't take your brothers with us" he purposely said it loudly for the twins to listen
The twins immediately stopped and ran towards their papa and started hitting him with the pillow "You are so big meanie" the twins said in union making Jungkook giggle
Yoongi was watching it from a distance before he came forward and picked the twins up in his arms... "Okay... Enough for the day... Go to sleep, we have school tomorrow and also, it's your brother's first day in Kindergarten... So, we have to prepare for him as well" he gently dropped Jimin on his bed that was on the very left and Taehyung on the right side of the room... While Hoseok tugged Jungkook in the middle bed "Dadda... Will that dan-to-ger uncle stay with us?" Taehyung asked, tilting his head like every time… Yoongi chuckled before kissing his forehead "Yes baby... He is also a part of our family now... And he is not a danger just doesn't know how to react in certain situations and also a big dumb with high knowledge " he said making all the kids giggle
"Yahh... Don't talk about my best friend like this... But I do agree that he is dumb sometimes... Maybe most of the time... But he's not bad" Hoseok said while kissing the foreheads of all the three kids and taking kisses on his cheeks before saying Good night... Yoongi did the same and walked out of the room... Who said you have to be married or be a couple to raise kids... Yoongi and Hoseok have been doing that job really well for the past two years even when they are just two alphas... All it takes is a connection of heart to make commitment to last
Once both the alphas left Taehyung immediately got up from his bed and laid beside his elder twin who immediately wrapped his arms around his younger brother and started caressing his hair which only made Jungkook to come down and hit both of them with a pillow before sliding in the twins "Chu big big meanies always enjoy without Tukieee... Hmp" he left an angry breath out before hugging both of his brother's hands... Both the twins chuckled before kissing each side of Jungkook's cheek "We love you too" the twins said in union before drafting into their beautiful dreamland
Yoongi walked into his room to see Namjoon sitting on the edge of the bed... "I sleep on the left side" he said while making hise way towards the closet… Namjoon rolled his eyes and got up from the bed , took one of his books out and went to the balcony to peacefully read it and specially not wanting to deal with his mate anymore
After an hour or so, there was a cup of cappuccino in front of him... Namjoon didn't have to look up to know the person because there is only one walking male version of snow white... He ignored the heavenly smell and went back to reading "You know that I stand here the whole night holding this cup until you take it, right?" Yoongi's was barely above whisper
Namjoon looked at him with a raised eyebrow "may I know the reason behind you being this nice to me?" Yoongi shrugged "I have no reason behind it... I am being me" the older male said while taking a seat on the beanbag next to Namjoon
Namjoon inhales the sweetness of the goodness before taking an urgent sip of it burning his tongue immediately.... He started blowing air to ease the burning sensation around his tongue 'what an idiot I am' he mumbled to himself while faning his mouth with his hand
Yoongi chuckled softly... Something that does not fit well with his usual appearance... "Slow down there big boy..." The older male said while taking a small sip of his own coffee... But the next thing Yoongi said was enough to make Namjoon choke "Your heat is close"
Namjoon's face turned completely red "a-and you don't have to worry about it" he cursed himself for stuttering at first but maintained his confident face
Yoongi raised his eyebrows... "I know... Jinnie is there to help you but I am just warning you that your heat is near so be careful and for a week, avoid going out alone... I will keep the pain killers on the night stand and you can borrow some of my clothes when it gets hella unbearable... Oh, We will have to buy some scent blockers too" Namjoon was looking at the older male with wide eyes... "How do you know all that?" the question made Yoongi scoff... "Well, I was being trained to be an Omega and who do you think has been taking care of your brother ever since he got presented?"
"You?"he asked looking at him with wide eyes " wasn't that Eomma's job?" He asked himself in a voice over whisper feeling guilty for not being there for his brother when he needed him but he was helpless he was told to stay away from him during his heat and he obeyed knowing his eomma will be there for him
"It is... But she never really cared, so Jin used to spend most of his heat at our place... Hoseok was kept away from Jinnie because that asshole cries more than Jin" Yoongi chuckled remembering how he had to console the younger male after Hoseok saw Jin crying due to pain... And at that time, they weren't even mates
Namjoon chuckled "I can imagine that... He is such a pure soul that he laughs at others happiness and cries in their pain... I sometimes wonder how I got this lucky to have a best friend like him..." He said genuinely feeling grateful to have the older in his... All these years he was the only one who made him feel like.... Human.... Now to think about it he was and is the only person he ever made him feel like an actual human being after his brother started ignoring him... No doubt his parents showered him with love but they never talked to him... It always used to be what they wanted from him and like an obedient child he is... He always obeyed "yeah... But it becomes an issue when there are three kids in the house... Kookie was just a year old when Jinne experienced his first heat... Tae and Minnie were 3... It was hard to explain when two grown adults were crying... Tae used to think I hurt his Papa so he used to roam around with puffed cheeks" Yoongi smiled, remembering the good old days
He giggled a bit "That must be so awkward...." But then hesitantly looked at the older male wondering if he should ask a question or not but then decided to ask it anyway "can you tell me more about heat?i generally have no idea on what happens during that time " Yoongi nodded... "Heat is somewhere similar to periods but way different... During heat, your body will produce slick and your smell will be strong... There will be pain for sure and your body will crave the alpha... Most of the pregnancies took place during heat because it is nearly impossible for an alpha to control especially when his Omega is so submissive... But you don't have to worry... I won't come near you and as I have already touched your pendant... Other Alphas would know that you have a mate... Meanwhile, you can take my clothes to feel better as they have my smell on them"
Namjoon looked at him with wide eyes "That sounds fuking scary... Why do I have to be an Omega" he growled placing his book on his head
Yoongi gave him a sad smile... "You will get hang of it... In the mean time... Enjoy the freedom" the older male winked before walking back into the room…
