Chapter 1:
BEGINNING
Y/N decided to check her email as she had sent a message with a video link of her audition for the new season of Total Drama a few days ago. She didn't expect she would get picked cause what are the chances? Not likely that's for sure. But when she opened her email, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
TOTAL DRAMA NEWEST SEASON ENTRY
Due to us needing 1 more contestant, you have been selected for the latest Total Drama season. Kindly proceed to the specified location at the following time. . .
Y/N couldn't believe it. She actually got accepted and was one of the probably thousands of people picked! Her eyes shined at the possibility of one million dollars, that's life-changing money. She needed to win it.
But her dream washed away as the realization dawned on her, she was leaving tomorrow without telling her parents, who would never approve of her being in a reality show. Y/N contemplated making up a convincing lie to tell them. Y/N's mind suddenly clicked with an idea.

Y/N slowly walked downstairs to where her mom and dad were, Her mom was busy folding laundry and her dad was reading a book. Y/N came up to them.
"Hey... I just wanted to say I got an amazing internship that is stupid not to turn down! And I planned to go live with my friend tomorrow morning is that ok..?" Y/N said, trying to keep this fake story making sense. Her mom raised an eyebrow.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner? That's a very important decision, dear." Y/N's mother said, Dad hummed in agreement.
"I-I just, I was thinking about it for a while and now I think I can make it work." Y/N said calmly, cursing herself for stuttering at the beginning.
"Y/N, since your old enough to make these decisions on your own it's up to you," Her Dad answered, Mom gave a confused look to him but he just nodded, "So go and pack."
Y/N couldn't contain herself and let out a squeal, they had bought her lie. Before they could question her even more she ran upstairs and closed the door to her room.
I did it, I actually managed to pull that off!
She thought to herself as she began packing her stuff into an old suitcase she found in the corner of her room.
Her heart began racing, shes gonna compete to win one million dollars with the contestants she watched on TV, she was gonna be on TV! She smiled of just the thought of it.
With her suitcase packed and her heart still racing with excitement, she was one step closer to her dream of competing on Total Drama World Tour.
Y/N examined herself in the mirror, taking in her current outfit.
Should I keep this on?
Y/N shrugged, not bothering to change, However, just as she was about to leave, her eyes fell upon a necklace peeking out from her drawer, she decided to wear it cause, why not? she wrapped it around her neck, and a second glance at the mirror confirmed her choice.
Perfect.
The night before her leave was filled with a mixture of emotions. She felt a pang of guilt for lying to her parents, but the burning desire to join the show pushed those feelings aside. Y/N stayed up late, mentally preparing herself for the challenges ahead and wondering what awaited her on the show.

The next morning, as the sun peeked through her window, Y/N's alarm clock rang, jolting her from her restless sleep. She got ready in a hurry, making sure to leave no trace of her lie behind. Y/N slowly walked down the stairs with her suitcase in hand. Her parents were already up, sipping coffee in the kitchen.
"Leaving already?" her mom asked with a hint of concern in her voice.
"Yeah, the internship starts early," Y/N replied, her voice trembling with nervous excitement.
Her dad gave her a warm smile. "Take care of yourself, Y/N. We're proud of you."
Y/N felt a rush of gratitude and guilt as she hugged her parents tightly. "I'll call you soon," she promised.
As she stepped out the front door and waiting for the taxi she called, her heart pounded with anticipation. She was on her way to the adventure of a lifetime.
As the taxi pulled up, Y/N sat down, and the car began to drive away from her home. Y/N couldn't help but look back one last time, wondering what the future held for her.

As soon as Y/N stepped out of the airport after a long plane ride, she saw a bus waiting right in front of her. Y/N wasn't sure if it was meant for her until Chef came out from the bus, took her suitcase, and went inside, He gestured for Y/N to come inside, she followed nervously.
but she was stopped by a familiar person, Chris Mclean.
"Woah woah woah! Who is that?" Chris asked Chef. Y/N was confused.
"We needed one more person to even things out." Chef answered.
"You didn't tell me?" Chris raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. Chef shrugged nonchalantly.
"I just picked the first one, I didn't really check." Chef admitted. Y/N furrowed her eyebrow.
So much for spending hours writing and recording...
"Oh, well then, welcome!" Chris beamed at her, and Y/N returned the smile.
She turned toward where everyone was sitting and saw eyes all watching her, Y/N had taken a theater class last year, so being in the spotlight wasn't entirely new, but the uneasy feelings still remained. She walked across the aisle finding an empty seat. Eventually, she found an empty seat between a purple-haired girl and a red unbuttoned shirt guy all the way at the back. The purple-haired girl gave Y/N a glare and begrudgingly scooted, Y/N gave a faint smile and sat down.
The purple-haired girl was just staring at Y/N, Y/N turned at her confused,
What's her problem?
"Hello?" Y/N said, a hint of confusion in her voice.
"Who are you? I'm a die-hard Total Drama fan, and I've never seen you before." She sneered, her eyes fixed firmly on Y/N.
Y/N hesitated for a moment, "I'm Y/N, and I'm new," she replied plainly. But her answer didn't seem to satisfy the purple-haired girl, who was about to say something else before being interrupted.
"We should welcome our competitor with open arms." The brunet-haired boy said, the purple-haired rolled her eyes. The brunet-haired looked at Y/N and flashed a grin, to which she responded with a puzzled but friendly smile.
Y/N watched Total Drama before, she knows the competitors but has never seen these two before, wasn't Y/N the only new person picked judging by the email and Chris's reaction? She had a bad feeling about those two.

A while passed and it was getting too awkward for Y/N, everyone else was chatting away. Gwen and Heather were arguing, Owen was freaked out about flying and DJ was comforting him. But the quiet and cold atmosphere between the purple-haired and brunet-haired was making it really awkward, especially since Y/N was sitting right in the middle of them.
And no way is Y/N gonna try to strike up a conversation with them. Well, she didn't need to cause the bus finally stopped, Y/N peeked out the window and spotted a worn-out gray plane waiting outside, and she let out a sigh of relief.
Chris got out and told everyone to do the same. Slowly, everyone was getting out as he introduced outside, Y/N saw some people fall off the bus in the process and couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
"And now to mix things up and keep it all fresh, we're adding three new competitors!" Chris exclaimed, holding up three fingers,
"He's an honor roll student with a diplomat for a dad and an amazing ability to charm the pants off of most species, Alejandro!" Chris exclaimed and out walked Alejandro, taking off his sunglasses and smirked at the camera.
"Perhaps I can assist," He said as he helped Brigette and Izzy back onto their feet, Brigette blushed
"I..I have a boyfriend!" Bridgette quickly said, stepping back.
"And amigos." Alejandro said, offering a hand for Tyler and Ezekiel who were lying on the ground.
"Wowie." Ezekiel muttered.
"I like girls." Tyler suddenly said,
"And she a super addicted super fan with 16 Total Drama blogs, Sierra!" Chris exclaimed once more and pointed to the door where Sierra quickly came out.
16 Total Drama blogs? She wasn't kidding about being a diehard fan
"Oh my gosh, I love you guys! And this is the greatest day of my life! EEEK! Anyone got a paper bag I can breathe into?" Sierra said all in one breath, clearly excited.
Sierra's eyes widened as she saw Cody, she squealed. "Oh my gosh, Cody! I've dreamt about this moment only you weren't wearing a shirt"
Cody looked confused yet terrified.
"And...um, what's her name?" Chris wondered out loud. A few people laughed as Y/N felt embarrassed, not wanting to come out. Chef whispered in his ear before leaving.
"Unfortunately, Chef didn't do any background check for this competitor so she gotta introduce herself," Chris said. A wave of humiliation nearly drowned Y/N as she walked out of the bus,
"Hey, I'm Y/N!" She simply said, not sure what to add about her that people cared enough for.
Suddenly the ground began to shake as the gray plane started to approach them.
"Um, excuse me but I like to express some concern about the safety of our plane." Courtney said, sounding worried.
"Relax, it's perfectly safe," Chris reassured her, but as if it was on cue a piece of metal from the plane came loose and fell. "Now boarding!"
"No! I can't go ride in that!" Owen began freaking out. "Call the United Nations! Call the cab! Call my mom! No, I'm not doing this, I'm out! This is unethical-"
Chris hit Owen with a frying pan, knocking him out cold. Y/N and a few other people winched at that action.
"Anyone else have a problem?" Chris asked annoyed. Everyone shook their head. "Now boarding on a voyage to a million big ones! We're saving you a first-class seat for all the action, right here on Total Drama World Tour!"
