To my favourite diabetic; Mia. 😉😘

                ╔═══*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══╗

After swimming in the pool, Stella decided to take a shower. The warm water cascaded over her, saturating her hair until it hung heavily around her shoulders. She wrapped herself in an oversized shirt and snug bike shorts, a comfortable choice for a laid-back day.

Meanwhile, Lizzie donned her favorite plain orange summer dress, a piece that always made her feel cheerful. She sighed, feeling the stress of the day. Stella, considering Lizzie's feelings, relocated her insulin pump to her forearm. The thoughtful brunette then took charge of dinner preparation, determined to ease some of Lizzie's burdens.

As Stella worked in the kitchen, Lizzie's phone buzzed relentlessly with notifications. Comments, posts, and tags flooded in, all related to the conspiracy theories concocted by fans and paparazzi. With a weary expression, she scrolled through the comments section of one of her recent posts, where a plethora of opinions clashed in the online chatter.

"These comments are brutal," Lizzie sighed heavily, slumping on the couch while Stella continued to work her culinary magic in the kitchen.

Stella, stirring a pot of soup, glanced over and asked with a hint of hope, "They can't be that bad, can they?"

Lizzie began to read out some of the comments aloud, her voice tinged with frustration and sadness. "'What happened with Robbie, though?' 'Wait, who's Stella? Spill the tea, Lizzie!' 'You've always been a role model, Lizzie. Keep shining your light.' 'I bet this won't last. Just wait and see.' 'Is this real or just a phase? This is disgusting! You're ruining the sanctity of marriage.' 'Robbie deserves better than this betrayal.' 'Lizzie, your love life could give Hollywood a run for its money!' 'I can't support this. Unfollowing now.'" She sighed as she finished, realizing that this was just the tip of the iceberg.

Stella absorbed the various comments, from supportive to downright mean, and then asked, "Oh... so what do we do?"

Lizzie shared her publicist's advice, "My publicist told me to go live or post something clearing the air, and denying everything Robbie said. But I'm not going to lie, and I won't pretend you don't exist either."

Stella had a different idea. "How about instead of lying and hiding... we tell the truth?"

Lizzie contemplated this, concerned for Stella's readiness to be thrust into the public eye. "Do you want to do that? You would have to show your face, I would probably need to get an interview to explain everything. We would need to go fully public about our relationship. Are- are you sure you're ready for that?"

Stella smiled warmly, leaned in, and planted a gentle kiss on Lizzie's lips. "They know who I am already; they are all stalking my Instagram as we speak. There's nothing to go public about, other than confirming allegations already made."

Lizzie appreciated Stella's courage but still felt concerned. "Okay then, if that's what you think. How do you want to do this?"

Stella suggested they consult Lizzie's publicist. She moved closer to Lizzie, sitting on the back of the couch to face her. Lizzie put her phone on speaker and called her publicist, Amanda.

"Hey Amanda, I have Stella here with me, and we need to know how to go about announcing this all," Lizzie explained, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Amanda's British accent came through clearly as she responded, "Alright ladies, I spoke to your team about organizing an interview for you, Lizzie, and they got you into the Jimmy Fallon show tomorrow afternoon. And for now, maybe a video explaining your situation. Remember, only share what you are comfortable with. You don't owe anything to anyone but yourselves, okay?"

"Okay, thanks Amanda," Lizzie nodded, glancing at Stella to gauge her thoughts. Stella responded with a reassuring nod and a faint smile. The call ended quickly.

"Live?" Stella suggested, and Lizzie nodded, her trembling hands betraying her anxiety as she opened Instagram.

"Where do you want to do it?"

"Maybe in the dining room at the table, it could be a casual 'look what I made for dinner, oh also this is my girlfriend' kind of thing," Lizzie chuckled, and Stella readily agreed.

"Sounds good, babe. I'll go serve up," Stella offered supportively as Lizzie followed her, dishing up some soup for both of them.

"Are you ready?" Lizzie asked Stella as they sat shoulder to shoulder at the table, both feeling the weight of anxiety in their chests.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Stella replied nervously. "I love you," she added quickly.

"I love you too," Lizzie smiled softly, leaning in to peck Stella's lips. The blonde pressed the live button and set the phone up in front of her, with only Stella's arm visible in the frame.

People began to join the live stream as Lizzie took her first taste of the soup, gently blowing on it to cool it down. "Ooo, this is good," she complimented.

"Yeah? That's good," Stella hummed in response, blowing on her own spoonful. Lizzie watched as the viewer count climbed, waiting for it to stabilize before beginning.

"Hello, everyone," the blonde smiled, though there was a hint of tension in her eyes.

"Did I add enough chili?" Stella chimed in, attempting to break the ice. Lizzie nodded with a thoughtful expression.

"Yeah, it's great. Any less, and I don't think I could taste it. I'm good with spice, though, and so are you, I presume," Lizzie replied, and Stella laughed.

"Why do you think I am?" The brunette asked, taking a sip of water from a glass.

"Because you are European," Lizzie shrugged, earning a nod of agreement from Stella.

"I think we have enough viewers now. How's everyone doing today?" Lizzie noticed the comments pouring in so rapidly that she struggled to keep up. Stella stayed just out of the frame, eating slowly and enjoying the affectionate comments directed at Lizzie.

"My lovely partner made me soup for dinner, and I don't really know what's in it, but it tastes amazing," Lizzie said, chuckling and tilting her bowl slightly to show the viewers.

"Today you might have noticed some rumors going around," Lizzie addressed the matter head-on. "And I'm here to tell you they are true." She took a deep breath, and Stella admired her composure, even though she could see Lizzie's trembling hands in her lap. "I have a girlfriend, named Stella. I call her El or Stell, or even 'shithead' sometimes, depending on my mood," Lizzie joked playfully.

"Wow, I'm not that bad," Stella gasped off-screen, her accent thick as she laughed to herself. Lizzie smiled warmly at Stella's words and adjusted the phone so the brunette came into view. Stella waved kindly with a shy smile. "This is Lizzie, as you know. I call her Bee."

"And I hate that this information was shared without our choice, but it is what it is, and I appreciate all the support and positivity you guys are putting out," Lizzie shared, a small smile on her lips. "You can expect me to be on the Jimmy Fallon show tomorrow evening to explain all the details of this. But other than that, uh, I came on here to just say hi and introduce you to my beautiful girlfriend."

Stella blushed slightly at Lizzie's words, feeling butterflies in her stomach as she looked forward to the day they could kiss and hold hands in public without any backlash.

Lizzie continued reading the comments, and one caught her eye. "Hey, someone's asking what's on your arm, Stell?" she said, a curious smile playing on her lips.

Stella glanced down at her forearm, where her insulin pump was discreetly attached. "Oh, this?" she said, lifting her arm into the frame. "I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was a kid. This little gadget helps me manage it."

Lizzie nodded, her eyes filled with a mixture of pride and concern. "Stella has been incredibly brave dealing with it all her life. She's my superhero."

Stella blushed, nudging Lizzie playfully. "Oh, stop it. You're just saying that because you love me."

Lizzie chuckled, reading out another comment. "'You two are so pretty, I love you both as a couple!'" She grinned at Stella. "I have to agree; Stella is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

Stella blushed again, shaking her head. "No way, Lizzie. You, my dear, are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

Lizzie playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, El. You're the one who turns heads wherever we go."

Their playful banter continued, each taking turns to shower the other with compliments as the comments section filled with heart emojis and words of love and support from their fans. It was a beautiful moment of connection between the two and their adoring audience.

As the comments section continued to fill with love and admiration, Lizzie and Stella engaged in playful banter that put smiles on their viewers' faces.

Lizzie chuckled as she read another comment. "Someone says, 'Stella, do you agree that Lizzie is the better cook?' What do you say to that, Stell?"

Stella leaned in closer to the camera, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, that's an easy one. Lizzie's cooking is amazing, but I'm the one who makes the best pizza from a box!"

Lizzie laughed, shaking her head in mock disbelief. "Okay, you might have me on that one. Stella's pizza skills are next level, I'll admit."

The comments kept coming. "Who's the better dancer?" Lizzie read aloud.

Stella grinned, standing up from her chair and playfully dancing in the background, trying to coax Lizzie into joining her. "Clearly, it's me!" she declared with a wink.

Lizzie laughed and shook her head, refusing to be drawn into a dance-off. "Nah, El, you've got the moves, but I've got the charm."

"Well I can't argue with that, Olsen," Stella sighed in defeat, sitting back down.

Their playful exchanges continued, filling the livestream with laughter and warmth. It was evident to everyone watching that they were not only a loving couple but also best friends who enjoyed each other's company to the fullest. The fans seemingly liked Stella better than Robbie, the man never really appeared online much with Lizzie like Stella is now. They love her.

Lizzie's eyes scanned the comments, and she picked out another question. "Ah, here's an interesting one: 'Are you two dog or cat people?'"

Lizzie answered without hesitation, "I'm definitely a dog person. I've always loved their loyalty and the way they can just light up your day with their excitement."

Stella, however, couldn't quite decide. "I can't choose between them," she admitted with a thoughtful expression. "Cats are so sassy and funny; their independence is intriguing. And dogs, well, they're just bundles of unconditional love."

As if on cue, Stella got up from her chair and disappeared from the frame for a moment. She returned with Luna, the fluffy husky puppy, cradled in her arms. The little husky seemed curious about the camera and the attention.

Lizzie read out the next question, her tone a bit more somber, "Okay, here's a more serious one: 'How did you two meet, and is it true Lizzie cheated?'"

Stella gently placed Luna on her knee and began to speak, her voice filled with sincerity. "Lizzie and I met at the university where I was studying, and she was working as a English professor. We became friends first, and later, our feelings for each other grew into something more. As for the cheating allegations, I can say with absolute certainty that Lizzie did not cheat. We only got together after her marriage ended."

Lizzie nodded in agreement, adding, "That's right. There was no overlap between my previous relationship and my relationship with Stella. What we have is built on honesty and love, and we wouldn't have it any other way."

They exchanged smiles, Luna wagging her tail in agreement, as they faced the world together, ready to embrace the love and acceptance of their fans.

Lizzie noticed a comment pop up, and she decided to address something that had been brought up a few times. "I've seen a few questions about our age gap. Yes, there's a seven-year difference between us, but honestly, I don't even notice it. Stella's one of the most mature, grown-up people I know. She handles everything with grace and wisdom, and it's one of the things I love most about her."

Stella blushed at the compliment and added, "Age is just a number, and we connect on so many levels that it doesn't really factor into our relationship."

Then, another comment grabbed their attention. Stella grinned as she read it aloud, "Here's a fun one: 'What's the puppy's name, and who owns her?'"

Lizzie smiled as she looked at Luna, who was now sitting contentedly on Stella's lap. "Luna is her name, and we both own her. She's our little bundle of joy."

Stella chimed in with enthusiasm, "Luna is a gift from Lizzie's amazing sisters, Mary Kate and Ashley. They surprised us with her just a few weeks ago, and we've been over the moon ever since."

With Luna happily in their lives, it was clear that Lizzie and Stella were both proud and loving husky moms, cherishing every moment with their new addition.

Stella's eyes widened as she read the comment out loud, "What is Stella's occupation and hobbies?"

Lizzie's face lit up with a proud smile as she answered on Stella's behalf, "Stella is an incredibly gifted singer and musician. Trust me, I'm not just saying that because I'm her girlfriend. She's truly remarkable."

Stella blushed, trying to play it down with a modest laugh. "Oh, come on, Liz. You're exaggerating."

But Lizzie wasn't having any of it. "No, seriously. A couple of weeks ago, I shared a story of Stella playing the piano, and you guys were absolutely blown away by her talent. Remember?"

With an enthusiastic response from their viewers, Lizzie decided to take action. "You know what, since everyone's so excited, how about Stella plays something for us right now?"

Stella felt a mix of nerves and excitement as Lizzie led her to the grand piano in the corner of the room. The blonde started recording proudly, focusing the camera on Stella. "Okay, everyone, get ready to be amazed."

"I'm going to perform an original song I created just a few days ago." The brunette said before starting to play some chords.

As Stella began to play and sing, her nerves melted away, and she poured her heart and soul into the music. The comments section filled with compliments, praise, and admiration as her melodic voice and skilled piano playing filled the room.

'Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the night's so long
'Cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy
Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you'

Lizzie smiled wider than she has ever before, the melody blessing her eyes from the perfect woman singing beautifully before her.

'When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
When I look at you, I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone
Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you'

Stella brought her beautiful performance to a gentle close, her fingers lingering on the piano keys for a moment before she looked up, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of shyness and pride.

Lizzie couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "That was amazing, babe," she exclaimed, her admiration shining brightly in her eyes. Luna, seemingly caught up in the moment, jumped excitedly around Stella's legs as she stood up from the piano bench.

"Thank you," Stella responded with a bashful smile, her gaze locked on Lizzie. She genuinely enjoyed playing the song and felt grateful for Lizzie's encouragement and the support of their fans.

Lizzie, now holding the phone in front of them, couldn't help but smile warmly as she and Stella stood side by side. The comments section continued to light up with words of appreciation and love for Stella's performance.

"Alright, folks," Lizzie began, her voice soft and warm. "We're going to sign off now. Thank you all for your love and support. We'll keep you posted about the interview tomorrow. But remember, we're just two regular people in love. Be kind and stay awesome."

Stella added with a bright smile, "Yes, thank you all for joining us today. And thank you for being understanding. We love you."

Lizzie reached over and ended the live stream. The comments were now filled with hearts and well-wishes. It seemed like sharing the truth had dispelled some of the tension and negativity.

Just as Lizzie breathed a sigh of relief, her phone rang. It was Amanda. She quickly answered, and Amanda's voice was filled with genuine relief, "You two did amazingly well. The comments have calmed down a lot. I think your honesty really resonated with people. Don't worry, we'll navigate this smoothly."

Lizzie couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Amanda. We really appreciate your help and guidance through all of this."

As Amanda continued to talk with Lizzie, Stella seized the opportunity to run around and play with Luna, tossing a toy for the puppy to chase. It was a moment of relief, knowing that they had faced a challenging situation together and had come through it stronger.

Lizzie hung up with Amanda, feeling a weight lifted from her shoulders. She started to clean up the empty soup bowls, stacking them neatly by the sink and placing them in the dishwasher.

"I can't believe this is happening," Lizzie muttered to herself, her hands moving automatically as she cleaned. Stella came over to help, her presence comforting.

"Yeah, it's been a whirlwind," Stella agreed, her voice soft. "But you handled that live really well, Lizzie."

Lizzie sighed, leaning against the kitchen counter. "I'm just so relieved it's going okay so far. And I'm so mad at Robbie. I want to punch him."

Stella chuckled, placing a hand on Lizzie's arm. "As satisfying as that might sound, he's hurting too, in his own way. We're all victims in this situation."

Lizzie reluctantly agreed, "You're right. I just... I can't believe he'd do something like this."

Stella gave her a warm hug, running her fingers through Lizzie's hair. "I know, love. It's tough, but we'll get through it together."

Stella suggested they head upstairs to bed, and Lizzie agreed lazily, not wanting to let go of Stella's warmth. Stella playfully turned around and hoisted Lizzie onto her back, giving her a piggyback ride.

Lizzie gasped and laughed, teasing Stella about her strength. "You must be really strong to carry my big butt!"

Stella teased back, "Oh, your butt is heavier than it looks."

As they ascended the staircase, Luna followed behind them. Lizzie called out to the house Alexa to turn off all the lights downstairs.

Once they reached their bedroom, Stella playfully threw Lizzie onto their king-sized bed, both of them laughing. Lizzie crawled on top of Stella, covering her face in sweet, playful kisses. The tension of the day melted away as they lost themselves in each other, finding comfort in their love and laughter.

The next morning, Lizzie woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing. She carefully slid out of bed, not wanting to disturb Stella who was still peacefully asleep. She slipped on a cozy dressing gown before making her way downstairs, her curiosity piqued.

With tousled hair and half-lidded eyes, Lizzie opened the door, expecting to find a delivery person or maybe a neighbor. However, she was met with an unexpected sight that instantly brought a smile to her face.

Standing on the doorstep were Mary Kate and Ashley, with suitcases lined up behind them. Both of them wore cheeky smiles that hinted at some sort of secret plan.

"Surprise!" Mary Kate exclaimed, breaking into a mischievous grin.

Ashley chimed in, "We decided to pay a visit to our favorite sister and her lovely girlfriend!"

Lizzie couldn't help but laugh at their spontaneity. "You guys are unbelievable. Come on in!"

She ushered them inside, and as they entered, Stella appeared at the top of the stairs, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

"What are you two doing here?" Lizzie asked, her sleepiness giving way to curiosity.

Mary Kate grinned, "Well, we thought we'd come for an impromptu visit. We missed our little sister."

Ashley chimed in, "And we heard about all the drama with Robbie and wanted to make sure you're okay."

Lizzie couldn't help but smile at her sisters. "You guys are the best. Come on in, I'll make some coffee."

Lizzie settled with her sisters at the kitchen table, sipping on freshly brewed coffee. She recounted the whole ordeal with Robbie, explaining what he had done and said publicly. Her voice wavered with a mixture of anger and hurt.

Ashley's reaction was blunt, "Honestly, I never really liked him anyway."

Mary Kate nodded in agreement. "He always seemed a bit full of himself, if you ask me."

Lizzie chuckled weakly. "Well, turns out my instincts weren't that far off."

As the conversation shifted, MK's face lit up. "By the way, Lizzie, I watched that Instagram Live you did last night. Stella played the piano, and she is incredibly talented. That was a beautiful song."

Lizzie smiled warmly, grateful for the change of topic. "Oh, you saw that? Yeah, Stella's amazing. I'm the luckiest woman alive."

Ashley teased, "Well, it's about time you dated someone who's not a complete idiot."

Lizzie laughed, feeling the love and support of her sisters wrapping around her like a warm embrace.

Lizzie couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. "I can't believe you both flew in all the way from LA for me. Thank you."

Mary Kate gave her a reassuring smile. "Of course, Liz. Family's got to stick together, especially in times like this."

Lizzie's concern turned to her mother. "How's Mom doing, by the way?"

Ashley chimed in, "She's hanging in there. You know how she is, strong as ever."

The conversation shifted to Lizzie's upcoming interview, and she mentioned it casually. Ashley's eyes widened in excitement. "Wait, you have an interview? I've got just the thing for you! It's a lace dress with black shorts and top underneath that isn't even out on the shelves yet in the row. You'll look stunning in it."

Lizzie felt touched by her sisters' thoughtfulness. "Thank you both so much."

The twins exchanged knowing glances and then, in unison, revealed the beautiful black lace outfit, and Lizzie couldn't help but be amazed by how gorgeous it was.

Lizzie couldn't contain her excitement as she examined the dress. "You two are so amazing, thank you so much," she gushed with immense gratitude.

The twins insisted that Lizzie try the outfit on immediately, and she agreed, inviting her sisters upstairs to her bedroom. However, she quickly cautioned them, "But don't wake Stella, okay?"

Ashley, with a mischievous grin, replied, "It's 9 am anyway, no biggy," and before Lizzie could protest, she burst into the room, closely followed by Mary Kate.

"Get up, Stella!" they chimed in unison, startling Stella awake. She clutched the blanket to her figure, a mix of confusion and fright on her face. "Ooo, did you two have some fun last night?" Mary Kate teased, noticing Stella's state.

Lizzie's face turned red, and she snapped at her sisters, "Out! Get out of the room!" She ushered them out forcefully, and as soon as they were in the hallway, she closed the door behind her.

Feeling mortified, Lizzie turned back to Stella and apologized profusely. Afterward, she guided her sisters to the spare room so they could change into the outfit without further disruptions.

Stella quickly slipped into some casual clothes, taking care to brush her hair and teeth before making her way downstairs. She had heard the commotion of Lizzie's sisters earlier, and she figured she should join them. She hoped to get to know them better, especially since they had flown all the way from LA to support Lizzie.

As Stella walked into the living area, she stopped dead in her tracks. There, in the middle of the room, stood Lizzie, looking absolutely stunning. She was dressed in a sheer lace dress that left very little to the imagination. Underneath, she wore a pair of shorts and a delicate bralette. The dress's transparency accentuated her figure, and she looked breathtakingly alluring.

Stella's eyes widened, and she involuntarily choked on her own saliva at the sight of Lizzie in that outfit. It was as if her breath had been stolen away. The unexpected reaction earned her a hearty laugh from the three blonde women in the room.

Ashley was the first to tease, "Stella, dear, you look like you've just seen a ghost!"

Mary Kate chuckled, "Or perhaps a goddess?"

Lizzie herself couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry, Stella. I should have warned you about my sisters' wake up call earlier."

Stella managed to regain her composure, although her cheeks still burned with embarrassment. "No need to apologize," she stammered. "I just wasn't prepared for... that."

Lizzie's sisters exchanged knowing glances and shared a conspiratorial smile. They were clearly enjoying teasing Stella.

Ashley patted her on the shoulder. "Don't worry, dear. We're a handful, but we promise not to scare you too much."

Stella smiled, grateful for their warm welcome, although she couldn't shake off the image of Lizzie in that lace dress.

After the initial embarrassment, the morning progressed smoothly. Lizzie thanked her sisters profusely for the beautiful dress and requested their help with her makeup. They happily agreed, and the twins set to work, expertly enhancing Lizzie's natural beauty.

Stella, still a little flustered from the earlier surprise, decided to make everyone breakfast. She whipped up a delicious spread of pancakes, eggs, and bacon, setting the table while the twins continued with Lizzie's makeup.

Throughout the day, Stella couldn't help but sneak glances at Lizzie. The lace dress had left a lasting impression on her, and she found herself appreciating every curve and contour of Lizzie's body. The twins, ever the mischievous pair, noticed Stella's infatuation and couldn't resist teasing her.

Ashley grinned slyly, whispering to Stella as she passed by, "Can't take your eyes off her, can you?"

Mary Kate chimed in, "Stella, dear, you're not the only one who thinks our little sister looks hot today."

Stella blushed deeply but couldn't deny the truth in their words. Lizzie was indeed a vision.

Later in the afternoon, as Lizzie prepared for her interview, she decided to curl her hair and apply bold red lipstick to complete her look. Stella, finding herself alone with Lizzie in her bathroom, couldn't help but admire her girlfriend's beauty.

Stella complimented, "I really like that lipstick on you."

Lizzie grinned mischievously, her eyes locking with Stella's. "You know what I love most about liquid lipstick?" she asked in a sultry tone.

Stella was intrigued. "What?"

Without further ado, Lizzie pulled Stella closer, capturing her lips in a passionate, hungry kiss. As their lips met, she whispered, "Once it dries, it doesn't smudge."

The two of them shared a lingering, heated kiss, leaving Stella breathless and utterly captivated by the woman before her.
